Inclusion Criteria
• Young patients
• Contact lens intolerant keratoconus
• Evidence of evolution of the corneal ectasia,
despite CL tolerance
• Reduce CL dependency

Patients with good CDVA, good pachymetry and low asymmetry
Refractive purpose (best cases)
Patients with bad CDVA, reasonable pachymetry and asymmetry
Regularize corena
Patients with bad CDVA, pachymetry and asymmetry, corneal
scars
Lamellar keratoplasty
Exclusion Criteria
• Hidropsia
• Severe corneal opacities
• Ocular or sistemic disease (vernal keratoconjuntivitis,
Severe dry eye(Steven Johnson, Sjogren syndrome, etc)
• Young patients presenting VA ≥ 20/40 CDVA.
• These patients need to be observed every three
months to detect the progression of the condition.
