This document discusses revisions made to a film poster and website for a project called "Eye For An Eye." For the poster, the student removed an image of the protagonist to focus attention on the antagonist. They also blended the antagonist image into the background and changed the font and strap line. For the website, corrections included adapting the transparency of the antagonist image, moving actor names outside the title, changing social media button shapes, shrinking the title, adding space for a trailer and billing box, and rearranging components. The student aimed to make both the poster and website more professional and aligned with horror-thriller conventions.

Draft Changes
Here is my second draft poster, and I have implemented all the feedback
and changes required from my first draft poster. I have asked feedback
from my teachers, other class members and my target audience, as they
are the ones that my poster is appealing to. As my first draft poster was
said to be interesting, I tried to incorporate and keep the same
conventions in my second draft poster. I tried to make the execution less
messy and more refined and distinguished by having less images in the
background, as I have removed the image of the protagonist because it
seems distracting and takes the attention away from the killer. Given that
the image of the antagonist and protagonist were very uneven, the original
images are very dissimilar in size and therefore it was hard to even them
out, and both images looked crowded on the page and therefore looked
unprofessional and unfinished. For these reasons, I’ve decided to remove
the image of the protagonist altogether. As for my first draft both the
images were amateur in the sense that they didn’t blend in well with the
background, after having removed the image of the protagonist I used the
‘Opacity’ tool to feather and blend in the image of the antagonist so that it
looks as though she is part of the background with the misty and
mysterious essence and significance of the smoky background. My
inspiration when creating my film poster was ‘The Woman in Black’s’ film
poster, and my intentions were to have the same horror conventions that
will have a similar effect on my film poster.
