Pretorius says to Dr. Frankenstein You are responsible for all the murders, there is a dark shadow on
Dr. Frankenstein. As for Pretorius it seems like he has a halo of light around him. I have a feeling that
the lightening in this conversation was intentional. Dr. Frankenstein is looked down, dark, and evil
because he murdered people. While in this same conversation it seems like Pretorius is the good guy
in this situation even though they both do not seem very good. All in all, the lighting was very
intentional. If they put soft/ airy lighting in this film, I do not think the message would come across

Causes Of The Pequot War
The Pequot War started in 1636 and ended in 1637. The war consisted of the Pequot people and a
coalition of English settlers from the Massachusetts Bay. It was a brutal war and was the first
sustained conflict between Native Americans and Europeans in northeastern North America.
The primary cause of the Pequot War was the struggle to control trade. The Dutch brought on
economic, political, and cultural changes when they arrived on Long Island and in the Connecticut
River valley at the beginning of the 17th century and of English traders and settlers in the early 1630s.
The world they entered into was dominated by the Pequot. The root of the Pequot War was the
struggle for control of the fur and wampum trade in the Connecticut River valley. Before the arrival of
the English in the early 1630s, the Dutch and Pequot controlled all the region s trade. The situation
was precarious because of the resentment held by the subservient Native American tribes for their
Pequot overlords. So, when the English wanted to join in on the scene, those other tribes sought
alliance with them, shifting the balance of regional power. This brought conflict as the competition for

Oldham by the Manisses Indians of Block Island in July, 1636 resulted in a military response by the

Joint Operations After the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the Twin Towers, the United States
(US) declared a global war on terrorism. Afghanistan was the first battleground with Operation
ENDURING FREEDOM; US forces engaged enemy combatants in effort to deter, isolate and destroy,
terrorist networks. In the early stages, unified land operations consisted mostly of special operation
forces (SOF) with support of the US Airforce, US Navy, allies and Afghan Security Forces (ASF).
This early collation was a joint effort that proved successful during the early phases of the operation.
Engagement of enemy forces successfully deterred their operational capabilities and efforts that
pushed enemy forces into Shahi Kot Valley. This concentration of enemy forces in Shahi Kot Valley
fostered the development of Operation ANACONDA, a joint, interagency, intergovernmental,

When I was little, one of my favorite things to draw was my house. I don t know why I loved it so
much, but I loved drawing my yard and how big my house was. Something about drawing my home
was special to me. As I looked through the website, there were many well drawn and colored pictures
but two stuck out the most to me. These two students that drew these pictures where asked to draw a
picture of where they live. The pictures are similar in many ways as well as different in many ways.
Image A was drawn in 2004 by a 6 8 year old female. In this picture, she drew her house starting on

Image B shows a visual element of line. The lines of the house are straight, smooth and firm. It is easy
to tell they took their time while trying to draw the house, while image A s lines are more curved and
loose. It looks like they didn t use a ruler or worry about how straight their lines were. Image B also
used her lines to show depth, for example on the house she made it 3D to let us viewers see the depth
of her house. Image A does not use line to show depth. Instead, she drew her lines to show the viewers
the front of the house and only the front. Although image A is more of a free drawing picture, I think it
has more details in the picture. Image A has windows on the house and she show her flag pole next to
the house, yet image B has no windows on the house and nothing in the yard. Another difference in
the drawings is the backgrounds. Image A does not have background, grass or sky but image B has a
yard full of grass, a sky and clouds. Within these images, you can tell image A is in the symbol making
stage and image B is in the preadolescent stage. Image A draws their picture on the baseline of the
paper and the sizing of the objects are not accurate. Such as, the door is too big for the house while the
roof is too small. Both of these are characteristics of the symbol making stage. However, image B s
baseline has disappeared and their objects are all accurate showing they are in the preadolescent stage.
As stated earlier as a similarity, both images used stereotypical objects. However, it is also a difference
because image B uses less stereotypical objects and features within the house showing they are a stage
ahead of image A. Lastly, the difference between the two images is image A is made with crayon and
image B is made with color

These challenges aren t only with themselves, but with other members of their family. They share
blame and judgement to themselves and others, dwell on their pasts, struggle to handle their

It is a non invasive inflammation and pain of the nerve supplying the metatarsals of the foot. Most

Leaf Disks: The Rise from Bottom to Top
ABSTRACT
This experiment demonstrates the effects of pH on the rate of photosynthesis by examining the
behavior of leaf disks in different pH solutions under light. In this experiment, we used five different
pH levels: pH 5, pH 6, pH 7, pH 8 and pH 9. These solutions were created using a combination of
hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide. Spinancia olcerea or spinach, leaves were used in the
experiment to examine the effects of pH on the rate of photosynthesis. The rate of photosynthesis was
measured by counting the number of leaf disks that rose to the surface of the solution after each
minute. In acidic solutions, the rate of photosynthesis increased while in basic solutions, the rate of
photosynthesis decreased.
