Analysis Of Mill On The Floss By George Eliot
This research report reviews scholarly criticism on the much debated character MAGGIE TULLIVER
from the book Mill on the floss written by George Eliot. The project I propose analyses Maggie s
character as a whole. The report will begin by discussing the critics point of view of various reasons
responsible for the death of Maggie Tulliver. The report then focuses on how society and how her
relationships lead to her downfall from the point of view of various critics. A part of my report also
critically analyses the death of Maggie Tulliver. Lastly my report discusses about the inner conflicts of
Maggie and how those conflicts eventually lead to her fate. Maggie suppresses herself in the
patriarchal system and struggles to make a place for herself and to find an identity of her own. In her
article Maggie Tulliver s long suicide1974 Elizabeth Deeds Ermarth says that Maggie eventually
believes the lie, that she is inferior, or wrong, or not to be taken seriously. She learned to collaborate in
her own defeat . ELIZABETH ERMARTH also comments on how society affects Maggie since she
was shaped to be a child by the family pieties, it is fitting that her life ends in a reversion to childhood
where her energies to be an adult, tragically, are unneeded. Moving on to her relationships, Ermarth
analyses that her relationships with Mr.Tulliver and her brother Tom Tulliver play a very important
role in her being a selfless person. In return of being obedient Tom gives

oppression is when the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel, or unjust manner is

Discrimination Of Women In Apuleius s The Golden Ass Analysis
The Discrimination of Women in Apuleius s The Golden Ass
According to Merriam Webster, gender inequality, or in other words, gender discrimination refers to
unfair rights between male and female based on different gender roles which leads to unequal
treatment in life. The term gender inequality has been a big problem in human history as it was in
ancient Rome. In Apuleius s, The Golden Ass, there are specific examples and sets of imagery that
show how women were discriminated against in Ancient Rome. The purpose of this paper is to
examine the concept gender discrimination towards women in The Golden Ass, paying attention to
how witchcraft is used to do so, and how this is a reflection of Roman culture.
One of the many ways that women are discriminated against in the text, is shown through witchcraft
and sorcery. Witchcraft in The Golden Ass is the only source of power that women have over men.
Women that are powerful and intelligent are portrayed as evil because they are viewed to only use
their abilities in a purely cruel manner. However, that is not always the case, in the story of Socrates
he tells the tale of a woman named Meroe who tricks men into getting in bed with her using
witchcraft. Meroe turned one of her unfaithful lovers into a beaver, hoping that he would bite off his
own testicle when being hunted. This shows Meroe as a villain perpetrator and pity is raised for the
unlucky man who was unfaithful in the first place and had an affair with another

The Invasion of Normandy
Introduction The invasion of Normandy, also known as Operation Overlord or D Day, was perhaps
one of the most important battles in the human history. The invasion took place on June 4, 1944, at the
Coast of Normandy in France. Troops from over twelve countries, including Canada, the United
Kingdom, and the United States of America participated in the fight against Germany. Although the
battles were enduring and hard fought, the Allies achieved the final victory; the Allies were finally
able to set their feet on the European soil again. The Allied invasion of Normandy was a major turning
point of the war that led to the ultimate liberation of Europe from the Nazi forces.

With a strong backup, the Allied troops were able to advance through the enemy occupied countries
with lightening speed. Therefore, the attack not only led to the French people s freedom, but also to
the quick downfall of Nazi Germany. (Naval History and Heritage D Day, the Normandy Invasion, 6
25 June 1944)
Relief of Soviet s pressure Other than causing the liberation of France and the establishment of a new
battlefront, the invasion also relieved the Soviet Union s pressure. Before the Invasion, Germany had
over two million troops fighting against the Red Army in the Eastern Front, and many of Soviet s
cities were captured. The Russians fought desperately to protect their cities. However, after the
invasion, with the launch of a new major battlefront in the West, Hitler had to transport many of his
forces to the West in order to defend his own country. Without as many troops to fight against, the
Soviet army was able to push through Czechoslovakia, Poland and eventually penetrate into Germany;
the Soviet Union s progress greatly sped up the endof the war. (Naval History and Heritage D Day, the
Normandy Invasion, 6 25 June 1944)
Significance of the Invasion on smaller scales On much smaller scales, the Battle of Normandy was
also quite important. The depressed Europeans, who had been living in the shadow of war for the past
four years, were delighted by the news of victory. In

Disney Corporttion´s Negative Influence in Children via...
What started out as cartoon shows such as Mickey Mouse has now changed into a profit driven
corporation. With TV shows, movies, clothing lines, toys, CDs, books, and theme parks, Disney is
creating billions in revenue. However, the profits are at the cost of the youth. One way the youth are
being harmed is children are absorbed in watching television shows that Disney plays daily. The
amount of time spent watching television has increased in the years, while the amount of time spent
playing games outside has decreased. Because of this, health issues in children have risen, especially
in the United States. Also, children begin to idolize the child actors from the shows on Disney such as
Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana . Although some actresses are good role models, most usually are
not. Child actors are more likely to develop drug addictions, alcohol addictions, and eating disorders
than an average teenager. Not only are the child actors harmed from being put into a crazy lifestyle,
the children who idolize these actors are harmed as well. Therefore, Disney s influence on the youth is
harmful and should be limited. Obesity and other health issues are become a problem for the youth in
America. While poor diets contribute greatly to the problem, there are other factors as well, for
instance, lack of exercise or physical activity. With numerous television shows for children of all ages,
more time is spent inside, watching these shows than outside running around playing tag or

Marxism In The Golden Poppy
John Griffith Chaney, best known by his pen name Jack London was an American writer; he was born
in San Francisco, California on January 12th, 1876, and died in Glen Ellen, California on November
22nd, 1916. London had a difficult childhood, regarding London s writing style,
oxfordbibliographies.com, (2012) mentions: Perhaps in part because of the psychological dualities of
his childhood, London frequently attempted to conjoin opposites in his work, such as socialism and
individualism, wanderlust and love of home, travel overseas and California ranching, Friedrich
Nietzsche versus Karl Marx or Charles Darwin, racism versus brotherhood .
The short story the golden poppy was published in 1902, this story is an example of the social

This approach is concerned about the social content of the literary work, consequently, the idea is to
analyze literature from the implications and the consequences that a capitalist system has on a specific
society. As cliffsnotes.com, (n.d) indicates: this theoretical approach asks us to consider how a literary
work reflects the socioeconomic conditions of the time in which it was written .
From the Marxist approach, the story the golden poppy shows a society full of differences and
inequalities. In one side, there is a wealthy lady who has a stunning poppy field full of beautiful
yellow flowers, and on the other hand, there are the poor people of the town that need to take and sell
the flowers in order to live. Based on this, the story has a class struggle, high class contrasted with low
class, besides of having the role of the powerful person, in this case, the lady owner of the poppy field.
To analyze this approach is vital to take into account the concept of capitalism, this is a system in
which the main and the only objective is to profit. In capitalism the power and the decision making are
based on the ones who own the factors of production, so it depends on what they need or what they
want to make changes; changes that are going to bring benefits to

Washington Irving, American Story Teller Essay
Washington Irving, American Story Teller I strongly agree with the statement Washington Irving
found in legend and folklore a view of the natural world colored by emotion, by superstition, and by
the ancient belief that supernatural beings inhabit the wild places of the earth. He wrote stories that
illustrated old truths about human nature and the dramatic possibilities of the American landscape.
Although Irving wrote over twenty volumes, including essays, poems, histories, biographies, and
more, in class, we have focused on his fiction. Irving dispersed many beliefs and legends of his time,
and the past, into his stories. He also made great use of American themes in these literary pursuits.
Such details along with existent people and events interlaced in his imaginary tales are some of the
reasons I find his work so distinctive and enjoyable. Washington Irving was the youngest of eleven
children, born into a somewhat wealthy New York City merchant family in 1783. In his twenties, he
wrote for newspapers, journals, and magazines. Shortly afterward, he worked in publishing and
editing. As the first American belletrist, Erving found great enjoyment in writing. His first notable
book, (which he heralded the release of with a fanciful precursor,) was A History of New York (1809).
It was published under one of his many clever pseudonyms, (faux historian), Diedrich Knickerbocker.
When Irving was thirty six years old, the simultaneous publications of The

Kant’s Aesthetic Theory and the Problem of Particularity...
Kant s Aesthetic Theory and the Problem of Particularity
ABSTRACT: In moving away from the objective, property based theories of earlier periods to a
subject based aesthetic, Kant did not intend to give up the idea that judgments of beauty are
universalizable. Accordingly, the Deduction of Judgments of Taste (KU, § 38) aims to show how
reflective aesthetic judgments can be imputed a priori to all human subjects. The Deduction is not
successful: Kant manages only to justify the imputation of the same form of aesthetic experience to
everyone; he does not show that this experience will universally occur in response to the same objects.
This is what I call Kant s Problem of Particularity. After critiquing Anthony Savile s attempt to ...

In moving away from the objective property based or perfectionist theories of the medieval and early
modern periods to this sort of subject based aesthetic, Kant did not intend to give up the idea that
judgments of beauty are universalizable. Accordingly, much of the first part of the Critique is given to
showing how one person s reflective aesthetic judgments can be legitimately imputed to or expected
from all properly situated human subjects.(3) The famous Deduction of Judgments of Taste (§ 38)
provides a sketch of this argument. Very briefly, Kant argues that since the faculties under
consideration are required for possible cognition as such, it follows that all who (through
communicating with others reveal their ability to) cognize anything are susceptible to the same
experience of faculties in free harmony, and to the concomitant aesthetic pleasure. As long as the
subject takes himself to be conscientiously beholding the object under appropriate circumstances (e.g.
without interest, prejudice, etc.) he can take his judgment of taste to imply in an a priori fashion that
under similar circumstances other well functioning human beings likewise will be pleased by it.(4)
Whether or not this Deduction is successful in any regard, it certainly does not achieve all of the aims
that Kant sets for it. For, as Paul Guyer argues, the fact that everyone is possessed of faculties which
make them capable of unifying manifolds under

How I Did Not Work Out
Overall, I believe that my unit was a successful unit for the setting that I was in. If I could go back and
do it again, there are a few things that I would like to change. There are so many positives from this
unit that I hate to look at the things that did not work out, so I will do a little of both. We will call it
pro, con, con, pro, a little method I learned from my years of helping with sorority recruitment. I will
start off with a positive, address two negatives, and end with a positive. One positive from this unit
was that I always had a backup when or if the technology does not work. This was a major positive for
me because I had a lot of technology incorporated in my lesson but was faced with the terrible news
that the school Wi Fi went down, for four days, during my unit. Instead of having the students read
from the book or listen to me lecture for 84 minutes, I decided to incorporate other ideas. We got
lucky during this time because the landline still worked, and since Mr. Cooper had a smart projector,
we were able to still use the internet and technology. I am one of the biggest fans when it comes to
technology but now I truly understand the importance of having a backup plan when it decides not to
work for you. Another time, when I needed copies for all of the students, the copier decided that it did
not want to work. So, we had to improvise and I ended up typing the instructions onto a PowerPoint
that I displayed on the board for all the students to see.

Moisture off of leaves is their primary source of drinking water. While some species prefer the canopy
of the tropical forests, others may live just a few feet off the ground. The home that the Tree Viper
lives in is mostly like a big forest filled with lots of plants and big trees. Large venom glands are
located behind the eyes on their distinct heads. Fangs are folded against the roof of the mouth when
not being used. During a bite the fangs are extended. Venom glands are voluntarily contracted to force
strong venom through long hollow fangs. Baby Tree Vipers are hatched from egg membranes during
the rainy season. The young snake slits the egg membrane with its egg tooth at the moment of birth.
As the babies are born, they actively grasp for the security of a branch. At birth the young Tree Vipers
weigh under a quarter of an ounce and are about 6 inches long. The baby Tree Vipers take care of
themselves from birth. Tree Vipers are active at both nighttime and daytime. Tree Vipers live in cold
and wet weather. The Tree Vipers favorite thing to do when they see their prey is

Rape In War
As time and history have progressed, the institution of media has captured and held control over the
public ideology. In this modern capitalistic age, the power held over the media as developed and been
re directed. The media acts as the key distributor and translator of the ideology within our society
throughout history and in the present day. However, the context in which we communicate is
changing, and with this, the relationship and interaction between politics, media and public life have
altered (Blair, T 2007). Changed to an extent where the information being relayed may indeed be
harmful to society, in the absence of objective, complete and accurate relaying of information (Blair, T

Rape in wartime is as old as war itself and is considered an expected outcome of such violent conflict
(Bracewell 2000). The sexual invasion of a woman s body is the ultimate act in emasculating her
husband and eliciting turmoil in the community (Boose 2002, pp. 73) as it undermines the warrior and
displays his inability to protect his territory , particularly if performed in front of him. This
performance of terrorisation and humiliation was particularly prevalent in the Red Army s invasion of
Germany in World War Two, where the degradation ceremony would only occur in the presence of
witnesses (Johnson 2002). Not only this but the widespread rape of a nation s women is an attack on
the symbolic ideology of a nation (Gottschall J, 2004). A nation s women embody its core values and
are seen a beacons of purity and thus are marked as an enemy target, a territory to be to be conquered
(Mostov 1995). Its effects are akin to bombings, gassing and other genocidal acts, which has allowed
for the evolution of wartime rape into a key, systematic weapon of war, particularly in regards to its
long term consequences. The methodical rape of Tutsi women during the Rwanda Genocide was
implemented with the strategic intent to infect victims with HIV (Nduwimana 2004). This genocidal
act was deliberately enacted to deliver harm that is worse death, to heighten the suffering and
destruction of communities and humiliation of men. Villages were forced to watch some if not all of
their women fall prey to the disease, an on going reminder of the times of war and the nightmarish
acts that transpired (Nduwimana 2004). Rape in times of violence is indeed a historical phenomenon
based upon the expression of power and dominance. It has occurred persistently in human civilisation,

The Influence Of Malcolm X On The Nation Of Islam
Malcolm began to work with the leader of the Nation of Islam, Elijah Muhammad, to expand the
amount of black members in the religious group s following. Malcolm X became the minister of
Temple No. 7 in Harlem and Temple No. 11 in Boston, while also founding new temples in Hartford
and Philadelphia. It was then that he met Betty Sanders, who also changed her last name to X. They
married on January 14, 1958, in Michigan, and she gave him six daughters. Malcolm continued his
advocacy and also established a national newspaper,
, in 1960 in an effort to further promote the Islamic message. He a gifted orator and he easily
convinced blacks to end racism by any means necessary, including violence. He did not believe that
equality could always be achieved peacefully. Though his blunt (and sometimes militant) ideas
garnered many critics, it also gained him and his faith a large number of followers. The Nation of
Islam s members grew from 400 members in 1952 to over 40,000 members by 1960.
In 1963, Malcolm X learned that his hero Elijah Muhammad had violated the teachings of Islam by
fathering multiple children out of wedlock. Muhammad was also angered over Malcom s insensitive
comments about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. These two events led Malcolm to
leave the Nation of Islam in 1964. He embarked on a trip through North Africa and the Middle East

Both sites the Theatre Royal occupied underwent many developments during the 18th and 19th

Difference Between Voluntary And Voluntary Resignation Of...
Voluntary versus forced resignation of directors Voluntary resignation of directors A termination of
employment initiated by the employee or by mutual agreement with the employer in which a letter of
resignation is submitted. In most cases of voluntary termination, employees will provide notice of
their intent to resign to allow for a more orderly transition of responsibilities. Forced resignation of
directors A forced resignation is when an employee is required to depart from their position due to
some issue caused by their continued employment. A forced resignation may be due to the employer s
wishes to dismiss the employee, but the employer may be offering a softened firing. In a high profile
position the employee may want to leave before the press learns more negative information about one
s controversial nature. Differences between voluntary and forced resignation Agency One of the
biggest difference between voluntary and forced resignation is who gives the resignation of
employment. Both voluntary and forced resignation signify that the employment will end, but when
someone is forced to resign it means that the employer has decided to sever the employment. The
employer can sever employment for any reason, so long as it is not based on issues of race, religion or
the sex of the employee. The employee can be cut for various reasons such as a new employment

The Discovery Of The Dark Races
In nineteen thirteen, Isak Dinesen and her husband Bror settled in present day Kenya, and Isak s life
changed dramatically (Stanley and Milne 195). A former Danish aristocrat, Isak became the owner of
a coffee farm, the superior squatter (Dinesen 89) of the Kikuyu tribe that lived and worked on her
farm, and a friend to many different cultures within East Africa. The discovery of the dark races was
to me a magnificent enlargement of all my world (Dinesen 20). It is important to remember that while
Isak was friends with the Kikuyu and Somali people, it is clear that her European culture ranked
superior to theirs. But I felt the silent overshadowed existence of the Natives running parallel with my

They would stand no nonsense from their own country or their own relations, but they took the

incompetency of their Native servants, with humility and resignation. (Dinesen 20) With colonization
comes the natural idea that the settlers have a right of superiority over the indigenous people. This idea
held to be true in almost all of European colonization in Africa (Stanley and Milne 198), but Isak
Dinesen and her relationships with African people and cultures were special. Unlike most of her
fellow Europeans, Dinesen embraces the differences she finds between herself and the East Africans
and often adopts their customs and attitudes. Her relationship with them evolves into friendship

culture in Out of Africa were the Kikuyu people. By the 1880s, the Kikuyu had moved into the more
or less empty lands in the middle of which Dinesen and her husband would later have their farm

to effect their ways in as little amount as possible. For he will really rather die than change his ways

because of the downsizing of some longtime retailers like Sears Canada. For American retailers,

Industries alleged that the company had systematically violated state laws by failing to pay employees
for a variety of duties, such as delivering merchandise and doing inventory work. The agency ordered
Nordstrom to change its compensation and record keeping procedures, and to pay back wages to some
of Nordstrom s 30,000 employees. Soon after, the firm created a $15 million reserve to pay back wage
claims. The company, however, remained a target of class action lawsuits on these matters, which
were finally settled out of court in early 1993 when Nordstrom agreed to pay a set percentage of
compensation to employees who worked at Nordstrom from 1987 to 1990. The settlement cost the
company between $20 million and $30 million.
Specific Competitive Advantages
One specific competitive advantage Macy s holds over Nordstrom s is its target demographic. While
Nordstrom s focuses mainly on career moms between the ages of 35 and 50, Macy s recently launched
Millennial strategy states that its merchandise areas primarily serve ages 19 30. The millennial
generation (ages 13 30) is now America s largest and most diverse generation, spending an estimated
$65 billion each year for the type of merchandise sold at Macy s. A much larger demographic gives
Macy s a competitive advantage.
On the other hand, Nordstrom s has a distinct advantage over

Scarlet Ibis Thesis
The short story The Scarlet Ibis was written by James Hurst. This story is about a boy and his younger,
disabled brother. Doodle was born and diagnosed as an invalid. Not being able to do certain things
affected his life. The narrator set out to teach Doodle the things he never thought he could do. The
narrator is described to be a prideful and determined person. He is prideful because he always put his
needs before everyone else. For example, he would push Doodle around carelessly to discourage his
coming. Not caring for Doodle s safety shows how he wanted to make Doodle feel sorry. The narrator
was always annoyed because he had to take Doodle everywhere. Additionally, when Doodle was five,
the narrator said, I was embarrassed, because

Asian American Self Regulation
Similarly, Iyengar and Lepper (1999) examined the cultural differences on children s self regulation.
They compared European American and Asian American on their self regulation. The participants
could either make their own choices on the features of the task or assigned by their authority figures or
peers. They found that European American were less motivated when they were doing the task that
was assigned by someone else. In contrast, Asian American preferred to the task that was chosen by
their trusted peoples more. This suggested that the level of self regulation were different between
European American and Asian American.
Different cultures have different practices of teaching children. These differences cause a discrepancy
in the way of self regulation. Hence, cultural factors may predict children s ability to self regulate.
Human beings are social animals and easily influenced by the surrounding environment. As mentioned
before, newborn infants direct experiences are limited, so their interactive caregivers and the
environment mainly affect their self regulations.
To illustrate, Schunk and Zimmerman (2007) proposed that children could learn self regulation

Bartleby The Scrivener Rhetorical Analysis Chapter 2
PART TWO 2. With kings and counselors, murmured I. This quote is from Herman Melville s short
story Bartleby the Scrivener, which takes place in an 1850s New York Wall Street setting, where
Bartleby works as a copyist. It is narrated in a first person perspective by an elder lawyer who hires
Bartleby to work for him. This quote is said by the Narrator at the very end of the story, when he finds
Bartleby has died in prison. The Narrator believes that he is doing charity work in being passive with
Bartleby s silence, which in the end leaves the Narrator feeling guilty and visiting him in prison. As
the Narrator approaches what he believes to be a sleeping Bartleby on the prison grounds, he is

It occurs in chapter 10 of Mary Shelley s novel. This quote is one of the first things the monster says
to Victor during their first reunion since the monster s creation. The conversation takes place in the
snowy mountains of Switzerland s Montanvert, where Victor ventures to escape the grief he feels over
the loss of his younger brother and family friend. The interaction begins with Victor calling the
monster names such as Devil and vile insect and threatening to attack, showing clear anger towards
the creature. The monster reacts calmly, but is upset that Victor does not care for him. The monster
tells Victor that he has not fulfilled the duty that is required after creating life. During the conversation
where this quote appears, the monster tells Victor that they are tied to one another until death and that
Victor should not shun his own creation. This is significant because it ties into the theme of isolation
that is present throughout the novel. Victor isolates the monster from his own life, and in doing so
leaves the monster with no hope of integrating into society. In parenthood, there is a duty of care that
comes with the creation of new life, and the monster feels that Victor has not done this. In this quote
the monster is telling Victor that if he does the right thing, there will be no more terror brought into his
life. Following this, the monster tells Victor his life story and how he is truly a lonely and sad

West African Culture Research Paper
Having origins in slave trade of the Muslim Empire that conquered North Africa, are the Gnawa

The Hippie Generation Changed the World Essay
These young people were growing their hair long, participating in free love, and flexing their flower

the Hippie Generation and how they went about their daily lives. There were two main parks where

Comparing Bronte s Macbeth And Wuthering Heights

Macbeth and Wuthering Heights While reading Macbeth and Wuthering Heights I discovered these
pieces of literature are very similar. Both stories have complicated relationships with the main
characters. The destructive love within the relationships in Shakespeare s Macbeth and Bronte s
Wuthering Heights, are presented through sexism, jealousy, and betrayal. These authors show those
characteristics as in today s time. It is very ironic how both of these stories portray the same thing. The
first thing they show is how and what happens in a relationship when women get control. In Macbeth
Lady Macbeth controls Macbeth by rhetorical manipulation as stated by Linda Hutcheon. Lady

He took Catherine s heart and hand in marriage and she told Nelly It would degrade me to marry
Heathcliff.. (Bronte 81). That choice that she made made Heathcliff leave and come back and make
Isabella, Hareton, and Linton miserable. Catherine also sees Edgar only for money and all the wrong
reasons she tells Nelly And he will be rich, and I shall like to be the greatest woman of the
neighbourhood and I shall be proud of having such a husband. (Bronte 79). The insiders that ruined
this relationship were really Edgar and Catherine from marrying each other.
In a relationship most of the time it s a must to show your manhood. In Macbeth, Macbeth shows his
manhood in the first scene by killing his enemy gruesomely. It was described by the captain as Til he
unseamed him from the nave to th chops and fix d his head upon our battlements (1.1 22 24). Macbeth
also showed his manliness when he fought the English army on his own in act 5 scene 3.
In Wuthering Heights Heathcliff shows his masculinity by leaving and coming back three years after
Edgar and Catherine get married. When Heathcliff came back he had money and higher education.
Heathcliff was described as tall athletic well formed man with upright carriage (Bronte 105) by Nelly.

Effects of Internet Travel Booking Sites on Travel Agencies
General Introduction
Since the birth of the Internet, many people have been using its resources to accommodate their travel
needs. Traditionally, people use a travel agent to book their travel plans, but with the convenience of
the internet, some might think travel agencies would no longer be needed. The travelers are the front
line personnel in retail travel agencies providing services to travelers based on their knowledge and

On the other hand, some authors say that travel agents provide better service than the internet,
especially when making complex travel arrangements, answering questions, handling problems and
maintaining a relationship with travel consumers.
Methodology
Participants
During spring 2012, 20 random participants were selected to take a paper form survey. These
participants were chosen from the general public. The survey consisted of 20 ranking questions and all
participants were given the same survey. The questions investigated the satisfaction of the customers
with internet travel services, travel agent services, and cost comparison between the two.
Instrument
The instrument consisted of 20 questions with three constructs related to the satisfaction of the
customers with internet travel services, travel agent services, and cost comparison between the two.
The construct of internet satisfaction related to how satisfied the customers were with their previous
booking experiences on the internet. The construct of travel agent satisfaction related to how satisfied
the customers were with their previous booking experiences with an agent. Cost comparison related to
how the customers previous experiences compared to each other in terms of cost. The participants
rated each question as 6 = strongly agree, 5 = agree, 4 = slightly agree (all some form of agreement), 3
= slightly disagree, 2 = disagree, and 1 = strongly

El Paso Argument Essay
The great city of El Paso is a spectacular place to live with its amazing citizens. What makes El Paso
El Paso is the people that reside in this area. Each generation a new breed of children come out to

time of the kids life is the most influential. If I as a teacher can teach these kids the rights things to do

Disinhibition In The Case Of David Michael Kalac

What did he have to gain? He posted anonymously to the blogging site 4chan. Clearly his aim was not
to use the pictures as a trophy, but as something more. At times, personal disclosure alleviates stress
and perhaps guilt. Radcliffe et. al. examined the effect of written disclosure on the easing of stress.
Their study indicated written disclosure, when it is presented to an audience, leads to reduced anxiety
and less emotional distress for the author (Radcliffe, Lumley, Kendall, Stevenson, Beltran, 2007). In
this particular study, it was concluded that writers work to share more information about their situation
than they may have in a written disclosure they would have kept private, such as a diary entry. Their
shared writings likely had more sensitive information to explain the situation, and thus led to less
depression, reduced interpersonal sensitivity, and lesser physical symptoms of stress when shared
(Radcliffe, Lumley, Kendall, Stevenson, Beltran, 2007). In Kalac s case, he may have been attempting
to lessen his burden of guilt by disclosing the photographs of what he had done, along with the
caption. His wording, Just wanted to share these pic before they find me, do not offer explanation of
the crime, but registers his guilt and acknowledges that he must eventually answer for his crimes
(Johnson Helsel, 2014). The Radcliffe et. al. study does not mention the impact of written disclosures

What I Learned in the Eighth Grade Essay
Throughout my academic life, I have learned many essential lessons from being organized, to treating

lesson of all, team work. Team work is the ability to get along with others, and it s the central piece of
being respectful to your peers and doing your part! As my eighth grade year began, my teachers have
taught me that getting along well with others is a splendid way to gain great success. They also

This is a question I tend to wonder about when I m stuck in a situation, and it seems to shift me in the
right direction. Equally important, teamwork has taught me how to be a successful leader. Through
team work I learned that some people are leaders, and others are followers, and that is okay! It taught
me that I work well as a leader, and am good at giving people tasks. Working with other people can be
difficult, but I learned how to overcome those obstacles and be a more exemplary person. Also I
learned, through school, that by leading a team, I am working and motivating my group. To illustrate,
a precocious girl is put with a group of her peers to finish a project. The girls group was extremely
unmotivated and did not want to work on the project. The girl took it upon herself to give everyone an
individual job, and inspired them to work. This is a prime example to show how teamwork and work
to create a successful leader. Lastly, teamwork through sportsmanship has taught me to put in extra
effort to get the results I want. Elbert Hubbard once stated A little more persistence, a little more
effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success. I ve learned that in order to
have a strong team, you need to put superfluous work. You cannot expect to get a maximum amount of
results with a minimum amount of endeavor. Working with a team of people

What Does New Zealanders Spend Their Time At Sport And...
Complicating the Relationship Between
Sport, Culture and Identity
Sport is considered a heritage of British colonization in New Zealand. Although New Zealand is a
country with a small population; it has had a lot of success in sport. New Zealanders have acquired
numerous awards in various international competitions. An increasing number of people believe that
sport is integral to recognize the culture and national identity of New Zealand. The All Blacks (rugby)
and the Silver Ferns (netball) have become New Zealanders icons after they have been successful in
international competition. I will discuss the complicated relationship between sport, and national
identity. I will then refer sport to culture. Thirdly, I will describe how New Zealanders spend their time
at sport and leisure. And the last I will reveal the negative of sport.
The first point I would like to reflect on is that of the link between sport and national identity. New
Zealand has been defined as a sport orientated country. Phillips (2013) notes that sport making
solidarity among New Zealanders and pride in their country. He says sport is a significant form of
expressing nationalistic feelings for New Zealanders (Phillips, 2013). A thirteen year old boy Joe Scott
opened the door of nationalism of a long distance walking to New Zealand people, but the All Blacks
approaches the climax of national identity (Phillips, 2013). The All Blacks has been mentioned several
times in various articles as examples of

I Heard A Fly Buzz-When I Died
Emily Dickinson was fascinated by death and immortality; in her poem I Heard a Fly Buzz When I
Died she reveals her insight on a shared but unknown experience. A speaker, who is describing his or
her death from beyond the grave, narrates the poem, which can be interpreted with either heavily
Christian in its symbolism, or as the literal description of the dying experience. Dickinson uses the
poetry elements of symbolism, imagery and point of view to give us an ironic poem, about dying and
the afterlife, which leaves the reader unsure of what s on the other side of death. There is a
disagreement in the literary world over the meaning of the fly, its symbolism and relationship to the
speaker in the poem (Ruby 139). Dickinson might have used the fly in order to showcase that the
dying speaker was still aware of the physical world but his or her senses were fading as the body
surrenders to death With Blue uncertain stumbling Buzz (Line 13). The fly could also have been used
as an ironic symbol of death, decay, and human mortality. Since the fly is a creature that feeds and lays
its eggs in dead flesh. Some critics think that the fly has a more sinister and dark meaning. They
believe that the fly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Reflection About Group Presentations
We all certainly have to do group presentations during our student life. This method of study is vital,
as it is a successful alternative or addition to the traditional term paper. It can balance the student s
educational experiences by providing training in oral communication, interpersonal skills, and
analytical thinking. (King 1990, p.77). Therefore, it is necessary for us to reflect on what we have
done and learnt through group presentations. In this essay, I would have a look back at what I
experienced and learnt from the BCM110 group assignment.
Our assignment was to work together and do research on a media issue that we studied in the lectures.
After four weeks, we had to give a class presentation on what we had researched. Our ... Show more

However, our main issue is Groupthink . Groupthink is defined as the pressure to conform within a
group interfering with objective analysis of a problem and causes poor group decision making.
(Dwyer 2013, p.221). There was lack of discussion regarding new ideas in our team. No
contradictions were often made, and we always reached agreement very quickly because we all
seemed want to avoid conflict. For instance, when a member said Powerpoint was simple and time
saving than other presentation methods, we all quickly agreed to choose Powerpoint without no
further arguments. As a result, our presentation seemed quite boring compared with other groups who
created a play. To avoid Groupthink , we can apply the brainstoriming strategy to encourage creativity
and diversity of ideas. We should write up all the ideas and generate possible solutions, eliminate
duplicate ideas to find the most effective solutions.
Regarding my individual performance, I was a responsible member and always actively listened to
other members ideas to give constructive feedback. I focused on what other members said and
encourage them to express their viewpoint. For example, when we discussed on fandoms, I wanted to
talk about Monsters the fanclub of Lady Gaga while Teskana preferred the example of One Direction.
However, I listened to the reasons Tes gave, and finally agreed that One Direction

  • 2. Analysis Of Mill On The Floss By George Eliot This research report reviews scholarly criticism on the much debated character MAGGIE TULLIVER from the book Mill on the floss written by George Eliot. The project I propose analyses Maggie s character as a whole. The report will begin by discussing the critics point of view of various reasons responsible for the death of Maggie Tulliver. The report then focuses on how society and how her relationships lead to her downfall from the point of view of various critics. A part of my report also critically analyses the death of Maggie Tulliver. Lastly my report discusses about the inner conflicts of Maggie and how those conflicts eventually lead to her fate. Maggie suppresses herself in the patriarchal system and struggles to make a place for herself and to find an identity of her own. In her article Maggie Tulliver s long suicide1974 Elizabeth Deeds Ermarth says that Maggie eventually believes the lie, that she is inferior, or wrong, or not to be taken seriously. She learned to collaborate in her own defeat . ELIZABETH ERMARTH also comments on how society affects Maggie since she was shaped to be a child by the family pieties, it is fitting that her life ends in a reversion to childhood where her energies to be an adult, tragically, are unneeded. Moving on to her relationships, Ermarth analyses that her relationships with Mr.Tulliver and her brother Tom Tulliver play a very important role in her being a selfless person. In return of being obedient Tom gives ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. Discrimination Of Women In Apuleius s The Golden Ass Analysis The Discrimination of Women in Apuleius s The Golden Ass According to Merriam Webster, gender inequality, or in other words, gender discrimination refers to unfair rights between male and female based on different gender roles which leads to unequal treatment in life. The term gender inequality has been a big problem in human history as it was in ancient Rome. In Apuleius s, The Golden Ass, there are specific examples and sets of imagery that show how women were discriminated against in Ancient Rome. The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept gender discrimination towards women in The Golden Ass, paying attention to how witchcraft is used to do so, and how this is a reflection of Roman culture. One of the many ways that women are discriminated against in the text, is shown through witchcraft and sorcery. Witchcraft in The Golden Ass is the only source of power that women have over men. Women that are powerful and intelligent are portrayed as evil because they are viewed to only use their abilities in a purely cruel manner. However, that is not always the case, in the story of Socrates he tells the tale of a woman named Meroe who tricks men into getting in bed with her using witchcraft. Meroe turned one of her unfaithful lovers into a beaver, hoping that he would bite off his own testicle when being hunted. This shows Meroe as a villain perpetrator and pity is raised for the unlucky man who was unfaithful in the first place and had an affair with another ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The Invasion of Normandy Introduction The invasion of Normandy, also known as Operation Overlord or D Day, was perhaps one of the most important battles in the human history. The invasion took place on June 4, 1944, at the Coast of Normandy in France. Troops from over twelve countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America participated in the fight against Germany. Although the battles were enduring and hard fought, the Allies achieved the final victory; the Allies were finally able to set their feet on the European soil again. The Allied invasion of Normandy was a major turning point of the war that led to the ultimate liberation of Europe from the Nazi forces. An Overview of the Invasion Preparations Ever since ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... With a strong backup, the Allied troops were able to advance through the enemy occupied countries with lightening speed. Therefore, the attack not only led to the French people s freedom, but also to the quick downfall of Nazi Germany. (Naval History and Heritage D Day, the Normandy Invasion, 6 25 June 1944) Relief of Soviet s pressure Other than causing the liberation of France and the establishment of a new battlefront, the invasion also relieved the Soviet Union s pressure. Before the Invasion, Germany had over two million troops fighting against the Red Army in the Eastern Front, and many of Soviet s cities were captured. The Russians fought desperately to protect their cities. However, after the invasion, with the launch of a new major battlefront in the West, Hitler had to transport many of his forces to the West in order to defend his own country. Without as many troops to fight against, the Soviet army was able to push through Czechoslovakia, Poland and eventually penetrate into Germany; the Soviet Union s progress greatly sped up the endof the war. (Naval History and Heritage D Day, the Normandy Invasion, 6 25 June 1944) Significance of the Invasion on smaller scales On much smaller scales, the Battle of Normandy was also quite important. The depressed Europeans, who had been living in the shadow of war for the past four years, were delighted by the news of victory. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Disney Corporttion´s Negative Influence in Children via... What started out as cartoon shows such as Mickey Mouse has now changed into a profit driven corporation. With TV shows, movies, clothing lines, toys, CDs, books, and theme parks, Disney is creating billions in revenue. However, the profits are at the cost of the youth. One way the youth are being harmed is children are absorbed in watching television shows that Disney plays daily. The amount of time spent watching television has increased in the years, while the amount of time spent playing games outside has decreased. Because of this, health issues in children have risen, especially in the United States. Also, children begin to idolize the child actors from the shows on Disney such as Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana . Although some actresses are good role models, most usually are not. Child actors are more likely to develop drug addictions, alcohol addictions, and eating disorders than an average teenager. Not only are the child actors harmed from being put into a crazy lifestyle, the children who idolize these actors are harmed as well. Therefore, Disney s influence on the youth is harmful and should be limited. Obesity and other health issues are become a problem for the youth in America. While poor diets contribute greatly to the problem, there are other factors as well, for instance, lack of exercise or physical activity. With numerous television shows for children of all ages, more time is spent inside, watching these shows than outside running around playing tag or ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Marxism In The Golden Poppy John Griffith Chaney, best known by his pen name Jack London was an American writer; he was born in San Francisco, California on January 12th, 1876, and died in Glen Ellen, California on November 22nd, 1916. London had a difficult childhood, regarding London s writing style, oxfordbibliographies.com, (2012) mentions: Perhaps in part because of the psychological dualities of his childhood, London frequently attempted to conjoin opposites in his work, such as socialism and individualism, wanderlust and love of home, travel overseas and California ranching, Friedrich Nietzsche versus Karl Marx or Charles Darwin, racism versus brotherhood . This approach is concerned about the social content of the literary work, consequently, the idea is to analyze literature from the implications and the consequences that a capitalist system has on a specific society. As cliffsnotes.com, (n.d) indicates: this theoretical approach asks us to consider how a literary work reflects the socioeconomic conditions of the time in which it was written . From the Marxist approach, the story the golden poppy shows a society full of differences and inequalities. In one side, there is a wealthy lady who has a stunning poppy field full of beautiful yellow flowers, and on the other hand, there are the poor people of the town that need to take and sell the flowers in order to live. Based on this, the story has a class struggle, high class contrasted with low class, besides of having the role of the powerful person, in this case, the lady owner of the poppy field. To analyze this approach is vital to take into account the concept of capitalism, this is a system in which the main and the only objective is to profit. In capitalism the power and the decision making are based on the ones who own the factors of production, so it depends on what they need or what they want to make changes; changes that are going to bring benefits to ... • 9. Washington Irving, American Story Teller Essay Washington Irving, American Story Teller I strongly agree with the statement Washington Irving found in legend and folklore a view of the natural world colored by emotion, by superstition, and by the ancient belief that supernatural beings inhabit the wild places of the earth. He wrote stories that illustrated old truths about human nature and the dramatic possibilities of the American landscape. Although Irving wrote over twenty volumes, including essays, poems, histories, biographies, and more, in class, we have focused on his fiction. Irving dispersed many beliefs and legends of his time, and the past, into his stories. He also made great use of American themes in these literary pursuits. Such details along with existent people and events interlaced in his imaginary tales are some of the reasons I find his work so distinctive and enjoyable. Washington Irving was the youngest of eleven children, born into a somewhat wealthy New York City merchant family in 1783. In his twenties, he wrote for newspapers, journals, and magazines. Shortly afterward, he worked in publishing and editing. As the first American belletrist, Erving found great enjoyment in writing. His first notable book, (which he heralded the release of with a fanciful precursor,) was A History of New York (1809). It was published under one of his many clever pseudonyms, (faux historian), Diedrich Knickerbocker. When Irving was thirty six years old, the simultaneous publications of The ... • 10. Kant’s Aesthetic Theory and the Problem of Particularity... Kant s Aesthetic Theory and the Problem of Particularity ABSTRACT: In moving away from the objective, property based theories of earlier periods to a subject based aesthetic, Kant did not intend to give up the idea that judgments of beauty are universalizable. Accordingly, the Deduction of Judgments of Taste (KU, § 38) aims to show how reflective aesthetic judgments can be imputed a priori to all human subjects. The Deduction is not successful: Kant manages only to justify the imputation of the same form of aesthetic experience to everyone; he does not show that this experience will universally occur in response to the same objects. This is what I call Kant s Problem of Particularity. After critiquing Anthony Savile s attempt to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In moving away from the objective property based or perfectionist theories of the medieval and early modern periods to this sort of subject based aesthetic, Kant did not intend to give up the idea that judgments of beauty are universalizable. Accordingly, much of the first part of the Critique is given to showing how one person s reflective aesthetic judgments can be legitimately imputed to or expected from all properly situated human subjects.(3) The famous Deduction of Judgments of Taste (§ 38) provides a sketch of this argument. Very briefly, Kant argues that since the faculties under consideration are required for possible cognition as such, it follows that all who (through communicating with others reveal their ability to) cognize anything are susceptible to the same experience of faculties in free harmony, and to the concomitant aesthetic pleasure. As long as the subject takes himself to be conscientiously beholding the object under appropriate circumstances (e.g. without interest, prejudice, etc.) he can take his judgment of taste to imply in an a priori fashion that under similar circumstances other well functioning human beings likewise will be pleased by it.(4) Whether or not this Deduction is successful in any regard, it certainly does not achieve all of the aims that Kant sets for it. For, as Paul Guyer argues, the fact that everyone is possessed of faculties which make them capable of unifying manifolds under ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. How I Did Not Work Out Overall, I believe that my unit was a successful unit for the setting that I was in. If I could go back and do it again, there are a few things that I would like to change. There are so many positives from this unit that I hate to look at the things that did not work out, so I will do a little of both. We will call it pro, con, con, pro, a little method I learned from my years of helping with sorority recruitment. I will start off with a positive, address two negatives, and end with a positive. One positive from this unit was that I always had a backup when or if the technology does not work. This was a major positive for me because I had a lot of technology incorporated in my lesson but was faced with the terrible news that the school Wi Fi went down, for four days, during my unit. Instead of having the students read from the book or listen to me lecture for 84 minutes, I decided to incorporate other ideas. We got lucky during this time because the landline still worked, and since Mr. Cooper had a smart projector, we were able to still use the internet and technology. I am one of the biggest fans when it comes to technology but now I truly understand the importance of having a backup plan when it decides not to work for you. Another time, when I needed copies for all of the students, the copier decided that it did not want to work. So, we had to improvise and I ended up typing the instructions onto a PowerPoint that I displayed on the board for all the students to see. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 13. Rape In War As time and history have progressed, the institution of media has captured and held control over the public ideology. In this modern capitalistic age, the power held over the media as developed and been re directed. The media acts as the key distributor and translator of the ideology within our society throughout history and in the present day. However, the context in which we communicate is changing, and with this, the relationship and interaction between politics, media and public life have altered (Blair, T 2007). Changed to an extent where the information being relayed may indeed be harmful to society, in the absence of objective, complete and accurate relaying of information (Blair, T 2007). Though the free society that we operate in does ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Rape in wartime is as old as war itself and is considered an expected outcome of such violent conflict (Bracewell 2000). The sexual invasion of a woman s body is the ultimate act in emasculating her husband and eliciting turmoil in the community (Boose 2002, pp. 73) as it undermines the warrior and displays his inability to protect his territory , particularly if performed in front of him. This performance of terrorisation and humiliation was particularly prevalent in the Red Army s invasion of Germany in World War Two, where the degradation ceremony would only occur in the presence of witnesses (Johnson 2002). Not only this but the widespread rape of a nation s women is an attack on the symbolic ideology of a nation (Gottschall J, 2004). A nation s women embody its core values and are seen a beacons of purity and thus are marked as an enemy target, a territory to be to be conquered (Mostov 1995). Its effects are akin to bombings, gassing and other genocidal acts, which has allowed for the evolution of wartime rape into a key, systematic weapon of war, particularly in regards to its long term consequences. The methodical rape of Tutsi women during the Rwanda Genocide was implemented with the strategic intent to infect victims with HIV (Nduwimana 2004). This genocidal act was deliberately enacted to deliver harm that is worse death, to heighten the suffering and destruction of communities and humiliation of men. Villages were forced to watch some if not all of their women fall prey to the disease, an on going reminder of the times of war and the nightmarish acts that transpired (Nduwimana 2004). It was then that he met Betty Sanders, who also changed her last name to X. They married on January 14, 1958, in Michigan, and she gave him six daughters. Voluntary versus forced resignation of directors Voluntary resignation of directors A termination of employment initiated by the employee or by mutual agreement with the employer in which a letter of resignation is submitted. In most cases of voluntary termination, employees will provide notice of their intent to resign to allow for a more orderly transition of responsibilities. Forced resignation of directors A forced resignation is when an employee is required to depart from their position due to some issue caused by their continued employment. A forced resignation may be due to the employer s wishes to dismiss the employee, but the employer may be offering a softened firing. In a high profile position the employee may want to leave before the press learns more negative information about one s controversial nature. Differences between voluntary and forced resignation Agency One of the biggest difference between voluntary and forced resignation is who gives the resignation of employment. Both voluntary and forced resignation signify that the employment will end, but when someone is forced to resign it means that the employer has decided to sever the employment. The employer can sever employment for any reason, so long as it is not based on issues of race, religion or the sex of the employee. Their study indicated written disclosure, when it is presented to an audience, leads to reduced anxiety and less emotional distress for the author (Radcliffe, Lumley, Kendall, Stevenson, Beltran, 2007). • 34. What Does New Zealanders Spend Their Time At Sport And... Complicating the Relationship Between Sport, Culture and Identity Sport is considered a heritage of British colonization in New Zealand. Although New Zealand is a country with a small population; it has had a lot of success in sport. New Zealanders have acquired numerous awards in various international competitions. An increasing number of people believe that sport is integral to recognize the culture and national identity of New Zealand. The All Blacks (rugby) and the Silver Ferns (netball) have become New Zealanders icons after they have been successful in international competition. I will discuss the complicated relationship between sport, and national identity. I will then refer sport to culture. Thirdly, I will describe how New Zealanders spend their time at sport and leisure. And the last I will reveal the negative of sport. The first point I would like to reflect on is that of the link between sport and national identity. New Zealand has been defined as a sport orientated country. Phillips (2013) notes that sport making solidarity among New Zealanders and pride in their country. He says sport is a significant form of expressing nationalistic feelings for New Zealanders (Phillips, 2013). A thirteen year old boy Joe Scott opened the door of nationalism of a long distance walking to New Zealand people, but the All Blacks approaches the climax of national identity (Phillips, 2013). The All Blacks has been mentioned several times in various articles as examples of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 35. I Heard A Fly Buzz-When I Died Emily Dickinson was fascinated by death and immortality; in her poem I Heard a Fly Buzz When I Died she reveals her insight on a shared but unknown experience. A speaker, who is describing his or her death from beyond the grave, narrates the poem, which can be interpreted with either heavily Christian in its symbolism, or as the literal description of the dying experience. Dickinson uses the poetry elements of symbolism, imagery and point of view to give us an ironic poem, about dying and the afterlife, which leaves the reader unsure of what s on the other side of death. There is a disagreement in the literary world over the meaning of the fly, its symbolism and relationship to the speaker in the poem (Ruby 139). Dickinson might have used the fly in order to showcase that the dying speaker was still aware of the physical world but his or her senses were fading as the body surrenders to death With Blue uncertain stumbling Buzz (Line 13). The fly could also have been used as an ironic symbol of death, decay, and human mortality. Since the fly is a creature that feeds and lays its eggs in dead flesh. Some critics think that the fly has a more sinister and dark meaning. They believe that the fly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This window, symbolically, represents the soul for the eyes are the windows to soul. These windows fail as the soul drifts off into spiritual nothingness since the King failed to appear and the speaker s experience with the Light of Christ was interrupted (Line 7,14). If one believes the fly represents the demon Beelzebub, the windows fail as the soul is dragged to the pits of hell (Hochman Para 3). In a literal sense, the windows failing represent the speaker s sense of sight fading, as the speaker closes his or her eyes for the last time and surrenders to the onset of death as shown in the last line of the poem, I could not see to see (Line ... • 36. Reflection About Group Presentations We all certainly have to do group presentations during our student life. This method of study is vital, as it is a successful alternative or addition to the traditional term paper. It can balance the student s educational experiences by providing training in oral communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical thinking. (King 1990, p.77). Therefore, it is necessary for us to reflect on what we have done and learnt through group presentations. In this essay, I would have a look back at what I experienced and learnt from the BCM110 group assignment. Our assignment was to work together and do research on a media issue that we studied in the lectures. After four weeks, we had to give a class presentation on what we had researched. Our ... Groupthink is defined as the pressure to conform within a group interfering with objective analysis of a problem and causes poor group decision making. (Dwyer 2013, p.221). There was lack of discussion regarding new ideas in our team. No contradictions were often made, and we always reached agreement very quickly because we all seemed want to avoid conflict. For instance, when a member said Powerpoint was simple and time saving than other presentation methods, we all quickly agreed to choose Powerpoint without no further arguments. As a result, our presentation seemed quite boring compared with other groups who created a play. To avoid Groupthink , we can apply the brainstoriming strategy to encourage creativity and diversity of ideas. We should write up all the ideas and generate possible solutions, eliminate duplicate ideas to find the most effective solutions. Regarding my individual performance, I was a responsible member and always actively listened to other members ideas to give constructive feedback. I focused on what other members said and encourage them to express their viewpoint. For example, when we discussed on fandoms, I wanted to talk about Monsters the fanclub of Lady Gaga while Teskana preferred the example of One Direction. However, I listened to the reasons Tes gave, and finally agreed that One Direction ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
