• The EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of EVidENT Gurus. He is a graduate of Bachelor of
Science in Office Administration (Magna Cum Laude) at Kalinga State University in
2014. A holder of Master in Business Administration at Saint Paul University
Tuguegarao. He is a Licensed Professional Teacher and a CS-Professional
Passer. He is a holder of the following National Certificates: NC II in Food and
Beverages Services; NC III in Bookkeeping; and NC III in Events Management
Services. He decided to change his career by opening the EVidENT Gurus in
2016. Since then, he has been invited to many training and workshops on Event
Management in the province. He has been personally involved in creating,
developing, and managing numerous corporate and social events in Kalinga.

NOLLIE BOY D. JERSON, MBA
He is a hands-on-hearts-on owner; hence he performs roles in the company:
• Monitor the progress of the planning and execution of each task that has to do with
the event.
• Provide recruitment and training/coaching for her subordinates.
• Development of general event management policies.
• Supervision of the production process of an event.
• Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and
objectives.
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
• Coordinate all operations.
• Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
• Approve all aspects before the day of the event.
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might
occur.
• Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports.
• She is the ASSISTANT DIRECTOR of EVidENT Gurus. A graduate of Bachelor of
Science in Tourism Management major in Airlines and Hotel Operations at Centro
Escolar University-Manila. A holder of the following National Certificates: NC II in
Tourism Promotion Services, NCIII in Event Management Services, NC II in
Housekeeping, and NC III in Food and Beverages Services. She has worked as
Events Manager in Marco Polo Hotel Cebu for seven years; it was there that she
gained enough experience in the management of conferences and corporate
events. At first, she was just an on-call Assistant Event Director, but she decided to
be part of the company full time.

GLORY ANN CALDINGON, MSHM
She is also a consultant of some events companies in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. In the company she:
• Ensures that health and safety regulations are strictly observed, recorded, and archived,
monitoring the quality of the product and service provided.
• Prepares detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations,
staffing, and budgets).
• Assists the events coordinator in all event productions.
• Assists users of facilities by providing requirements concerning technical, security, and/or other
conditions; assists in problem resolution and answers questions; refers to the appropriate
department when unable to respond.
• Assists in developing and scheduling event staff per specifications; oversees assigned staff or
operations.
• Attends events to assist with the facilitation of operations and responds to emergencies, problems,
etc.; ensures assigned aspects of events are implemented and controlled according to plans.
• Maintains records on event activities, progress, or status.
• Maintains facility or event calendars, updating as necessary.
• The EVENT PLANNER of EVidENT Gurus. She is a graduate of Bachelor of
Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Trinity University of Asia in
her undergraduate. A holder of Master of Science in Hospitality Management at
Saint Paul University Tuguegarao. A holder of multiple National Certificates: NC II
and III in Food and Beverages Services, NC II in Tourism Promotion Services, NC
II in Housekeeping, NC III in Barista, and NC III in Event Management Services.
She is Restaurant Manager of YUM Co. International for five years; a company
that delivers quality and excellent service. YUM Co. manages KFC, Sbarro, Mister
Donut, Tokyo Tokyo, and many more.

She will work closely on the following:
• Event planning, design, and production while managing all project delivery elements within
time limits.
• Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.
• Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment,
transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations.
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event
day.

• She is the Finance Manager of EVidENT Gurus. She is a Certified
Public Accountant. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

National Certificates in NC III in Bookkeeping and NCII in Event
Management Services.

EVENT PROPOSAL
• This seminar is purposely and exclusively intended to some
selected students in the College of Business Administration
and Accountancy, Kalinga State University, Dagupan
campus where it offers three academic programs namely,
Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, Bachelor of

Management, and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
This seminar will be implemented during the First Semester

• Mr. Eric A. Paloy is a faculty member at Kalinga State University from the year
2014 to the present. He finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
and Master’s Degree in Information Technology at the University of the Cordilleras
in Baguio City. He is taking up his Doctor’s Degree in Information Technology at
Saint Paul’s University, Tuguegarao. He earned his Professional Education Units
at Saint Tonis College, Bulanao, now; he is a Licensed Professional Teacher. He
holds a designation as the ICT Chairperson at Kalinga State University. He is a
dedicated and committed educator and also an active researcher and extensionist.

• Dr. Norfredo M. Dulay is a Professor 6 at Kalinga State University. He finished
Bachelor of Science in Political Science (Cum Laude). He graduated Doctor of
Philosophy in Community Development last 2010. at Kalinga-Apayao State College.
He served Kalinga State University for 20 years with passion, dedication, and
commitment. He teaches both undergraduate programs and graduate studies. He was
the former Dean of the College in Liberal Arts, where he initiated and spearheaded the
BS-Social Work offering. He is an active researcher and extensionist. He even
presented his research outputs in local, national, and international conferences and for
a. He served as an accreditor by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and
Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc.

• The Davidson Hotel and Restaurant is situated along Provincial
Highway, Purok Datu, Bulanao Tabuk City, Kalinga. It is one of
the famous hotels in the province. The Chief Executive Officer is
Mr. Chris Davis Bayle Ng, the President is Mr. Chris Gary B. Ng,
and the Manager is Mrs. Hazel D. Lumiqued. It envisions
becoming the premier service provider with a progressive
stance on sustainable tourism, culinary innovation, and
culturally sound event management in Kalinga province. Its
mission is to provide good hotel and restaurant products and
services to local and foreign clients in support of the sustainable
tourism efforts of Kalinga province.
EVENT VENUE
• The Davidson Hotel and Restaurant can accommodate all business,
pleasure travelers, and guests. It has blossomed into one of the major
venues for seminars, conferences, weddings, and other banqueting
functions in Tabuk City, Kalinga. Their rooms and convention halls have
been cheerfully friendly, decorated, and freshly accommodated. All rooms
include air conditioning, cable television, and lots of other amenities.
Guests enjoy free-flowing coffee at our famous coffee shop. The Davidson
Hotel and Restaurant is ready to satisfy your entire hotel and convention
needs.
• They have twenty-three (23) standard rooms, seven convention halls with a
total accommodation of a capacity of 400 pax, and a swimming pool, fitness
gym, souvenir shop, wine bar, coffee shop, restaurant, and a printing press.
The hotel's interiors emit a cozy and homey ambiance, and their menu
offers a range of cuisine from traditional Filipino to continental dishes. The
room rack rates are quite reasonable, ranging from a low of Php 1,200/day
to a maximum of Php 2,500 for the executive rooms. The staffs are well
trained, and the owner is quite hospitable that one will feel at home.

• The purpose of this memorandum of agreement is to document agreement for the orderly
use of Davidson Hotel and Restaurant as the event venue of the seminar that will be
organized by the EVidENT Gurus.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
• The EVidENT Gurus Company will pay the Davidson Hotel the total amount of ₱74,000.00. Upon signing of this
contract the client will pay 60% of the total cost amounting to ₱44,400.00. The remaining balance amounting to
₱29,600.00 shall be paid a week before the actual event.
• If the venue owner cancels within 8 days before the event the planner will be refunded the original fee.
• In the event of a no-show on your behalf, we will bill your company for the cancellation fee.
• If the planner cancels, he will either provide a subtitle planner or refund the full fee, minus the cost of un-
refundable deposits.
• Set-up/Staging venue area.
• Purchase order should be given the day of the event.
• Assisting in the event preparation
• Should you require any audiovisual equipment, please let me/us know as soon as possible.
• A deposit in full, valid credit card number, or completed direct bill application must be provided to the hotel one
week before the event takes place for guarantee purposes.
• The food will be served according to the agreements of the host, planner and the catering.
• Davidson Hotel and Restaurant reserves the right to inspect and control all functions. The Hotel is not responsible
for loss or damages to any samples, displays, properties, or personal effects brought into the Hotel.
• The host will not enter to any contracts in behalf of the planner without the planner’s knowledge and consent.
THIS AGREEMENT is made as of the 1st day of January, 2021 between Mr. Nollie Boy D. Jerson,
as the Event Director of EVidENT Gurus located at Dagupan, Tabuk City Kalinga and Kalinga State
University located at Bulanao Tabuk City Kalinga represented by the University President, Dr.
Eduardo T. Bagtang referred to us as the client.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the company is organizing Seminar Event which will be held on 20-21st day of August,
2021 at Davidson Hotel and Restaurant, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

EVENT PLANNER CONTRACT
2. IN CONSIDERATION OF PAYMENT
• The client will pay the Event Director Company represented by Mr. Nollie Boy D. Jerson the total amount of
₱129,120.00. Upon signing of this contract the client will pay 60% of the total cost amounting to ₱77,472.00. The
remaining balance amounting to ₱51,648.00 shall be paid a week before the actual event.
3. PROPERTY DAMAGED EQUIPMENT LOSS
• Client shall responsible for personal injury, or property damaged caused by Client, Client’s agents or guest.
4. PERSONAL ITEMS
• Client shall be responsible for all items of client’s guests/participants. Benchmark the venue or other things. The
company shall not be liable for missing, lost or stolen items.
5. DATE CHANGES
• The clients agreed that in case the date changes for the event any expenses included are responsibility of the
client.
6. CANCELATIONS
• In the cancelation of the event, all payments made to date are non-refundable.
7. TERMS/TERMINATION
• This agreement will be automatically terminated upon completion of the service required by this letter of agreement

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus and maximize the safety of our participants and speakers, we made this
protocol. We will continue to monitor the developments closely and if we deem this necessary, we will change our
protocols.
• 1. All employees are familiar with this protocol and have to follow the guidelines.
• 2. Participants of the seminar are obliged to wear a face mask and/or face shield in the hotel's public space.
• 3. Participants who show symptoms ( i.e. fever, colds) cannot enter or come inside the hotel for safety
precaution.
• 4. We expect our guests/participants to disinfect their hands as soon as they enter the hotel premises.
Disinfections points are available at the main entrance.
• 5. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• 5. A maximum of 5 persons are allowed in the restrooms at any given time.
• 6. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not readily available
• 7. Participants should wash their hands or sanitize their hands once an hour.
• 8. The set-up of the hall follows 1.5 meters of social distancing among the participants.
• 9. In every round table, there must only be five participants to follow social distancing.

• Lher Verell Palabay is a faculty member at Don Mariano Marcos State University. He
graduated with his Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) at
Colegio de San Juan de Letran last 2018. He is the Vice-President of the Philippine
Association of Administrative Professionals and educators in Office Administration, INc.
(PAAPEOAI) for North Luzon. He is the OIC Dean of DMMSU, College of Management,
now the Program Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration at the
same university. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate programs at DMMSU. He is
a dedicated and committed professor and also an active researcher and extensionist.

• Mrs. Karen Razelle Mina Duyan is a faculty member at Kalinga State University. She
obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce major in Entrepreneurship from the
University of Sto. Tomas (UST), Sampaloc, Manila, and her Masters in Public and
Business Management major in Business Administration at FL Vargas College
Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. She finished 75 credit units in Masters in Business Law
major in Commercial Law at Curtin University and 25 credit units in Masters in
Professional Accountancy at Edith Cowan University, both in Western Australia. She is
currently enrolled in St. Paul University, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, with few units left
in Doctor of Business Management. She is a Licensed Professional Teacher and a
practicing Entrepreneur. She conducts educational researches and extension activities.
She teaches introductory and major Entrepreneurship subjects both at the Graduate
school and Undergraduate level professional.

The Hotel is not responsible for loss or damages to any samples, displays, properties, or personal effects brought into the Hotel. • The host will not enter to any contracts in behalf of the planner without the planner’s knowledge and consent.

RECITALS WHEREAS, the company is organizing Seminar Event which will be held on 20-21st day of August, 2021 at Davidson Hotel and Restaurant, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga. 1.   • 61. To prevent the spread of the coronavirus and maximize the safety of our participants and speakers, we made this protocol. We will continue to monitor the developments closely and if we deem this necessary, we will change our protocols. • 1. All employees are familiar with this protocol and have to follow the guidelines. • 2. Participants of the seminar are obliged to wear a face mask and/or face shield in the hotel's public space. • 3. Participants who show symptoms ( i.e. fever, colds) cannot enter or come inside the hotel for safety precaution. • 4. We expect our guests/participants to disinfect their hands as soon as they enter the hotel premises. Disinfections points are available at the main entrance. • 5. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. • 5. A maximum of 5 persons are allowed in the restrooms at any given time. • 6. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not readily available • 7. Participants should wash their hands or sanitize their hands once an hour. • 8. He is the Vice-President of the Philippine Association of Administrative Professionals and educators in Office Administration, INc. (PAAPEOAI) for North Luzon.
