Evidence of photoshoot
- 1. Photo Shoot Evidence Music Magazine Front Cover
- 2. Photo Shoot Preparation Before being able to take the pictures, I had to think carefully about what style would suit Kayyah and the theme of the magazine. These pictures explain the thought process behind the photo shoot. The dress is what my model wore during the photo shoot. I wanted her to wear black as I find that black matches any colour, so when choosing my colour palette, as I know it wont clash with other colours. Her jewellery was gold as it compliments both the black dress and my pink/purple colour palette on the front cover. The top right shows me painting Kayyah’s nails. I did this just in case there was a pose I like which showed her nails. It is a girls magazine and most celebrities would show of nicely painted nails on a front cover. The bottom left shows the makeup used to exenterate her face, to make her stand out.
- 4. Before I could take any of my pictures, I checked the lighting and took several shots to test how the lighting effected my picture. I started by turning all the lights off in the room and relying on just the flash of the camera to highlight Kayyah. This was quite effective but looked to dark and gave her red eye. I then added some lighting in the background to rid any shadows. This worked but I wanted the attention more on her face and her expression as I could. This is when I chose to shut out the natural light and turn the light on in the classroom and use the flash and other lights, to project as much light and brightness as I possibly could. This gave me a really clear image a good quality of lighting. I was happy with the end result and was confident to use it in my coursework. Lighting
