How does your media product represent
social groups?
o My media product represents young girls and their love for festivals and
indie pop. As a younger teenager you are interested in what is going on in
the world of music festivals and you want to get as much information as
possible.
o The cover will instantly appeal to me target audience teenage girls, looking
for an informative girlie read.
o There is valuable gossip, form and about the new, up coming acoustic
artist in the magazine.
o The images I have used are natural, young and fresh targeting my
audience, you trendy girls.

What kind of media institution might distribute
your media product and why?
o I would use IPC media as they publish a large range of
magazines and are very well-known publisher amongst a
whole host of different people.
o They publish all types of magazines but leisure, fitness and
gossip magazines to name a few, all aimed at many different
types of audiences including men, women and children.
o One of the most famous of music magazines that they publish
is called NME, it focuses on the rock genre of music.
o Although rock and festival/ acoustic are not similar there is a
wide range of magazines they do produce that would have
similar audiences interested in the genre that my magazine
features.
o This publishing company also has a website where my
magazine could be advertised and promoted, and this could
help to show its online presence

Who would be the audience for your media
product?
o I have tried to aim my magazine at people who range from the
age of 12 to adults as this is the age group that tend to attend
festival and listen to the artists I have featured in my
magazine.
o I have tries to add elements that will interest a younger reader
and an older reader accommodate everyone who reads it.
o When I first did my audience research I turned out that boys
were not really into my magazine about the females acoustic
genre, but girls thought that there was not anything quite like
it on the shelve at the moment, and so I enhanced this rather
than trying to make it appeal to boys as well.
o I decided to make it about the female artists at UK festivals. It
has made my magazine slightly more feminine than I first
thought it would be, but I like the way it has turned out and will
attract a lot of female readers, both young and old.
o The price needed to reflect the contents and would attract
someone who maybe cant afford to go to festivals or people
o One of the aims of this magazine is to guide people on their
first encounter of a festival and what bands to listen to and
how to get to the front of the crowds. It also incorporates what
the artists experiences are while they are on stage singing
and dancing.
o My magazine represents the younger female, mainly
teenagers so it could be any one from the age of 12 to ladies
who are in their 20’s
o There isn’t really a label for the social group that I am
representing but they are music fanatics who love listening to
an playing music.
o Young people interested in fashion tips and music bites!
o My magazine depicts people being happy and light hearted,
girls who have fun and are heavily attracted to festivals,
attending and preforming also. It shows the group of people I
am targeting are the type that will really want to get to know
