Before starting the project, the author had a basic knowledge of Photoshop from previous use, making it easier to construct the cover, contents page, and double page spreads. Through the project, the author became more proficient with the Magic Wand tool to remove backgrounds from pictures and isolate artists. This allowed clutter-free images without dull backgrounds across all pages, and gave flexibility to add new backgrounds. The author also learned to use Curves to professionally enhance skin tones in images, improving the overall visual appeal for the intended audience.

2. Before this project I had a limited knowledge of Photoshop. This meant that I
knew the basics of how to use photoshop which made it easier when
constructing the cover, contents page and dps. I became even more familiar
with the Magic wand tool which allowed me to remove backgrounds out of
pictures to isolate the artist. This meant that there was no clutter or dull
background visible on any of my pages. It also allowed me to add on other
backgrounds in if I wanted to do so.

3. Throughout the project I learned new
ways to enhance pictures such as adding
'curves' which allowed me to control the
skin tone of the artists image to make the
images look more professional which
ultimately makes the pages as a whole
look more appealing for my audience.
