I learned how to use InDesign to create a magazine and supporting documents without formal training, which helped me learn to take initiative. I used photo editing software to adjust lighting and clarity in images to make them look more professional for the target audience. I created presentations and posted my evaluation online using PowerPoint, SlideShare and Blogger to make my work more accessible and convenient for marking.
1. What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product?
2. I used different programs in order to make
my magazine look professional. To make
both my main artefact and my supporting I
used InDesign for the creation of them, this
was a challenging task as I was not taught
how to use it, nor had I used it before so this
was a process of learning it myself, due to
this I feel as though I learnt how to take
initiative and make the best out of what I had.
3. To edit my photos I used windows to adjust the mid-
tone and make the models face brighter so she looks
better and more appealing to the target audience, by
doing so the images instantly look more professional
due to the lack of imperfections and clarity of the
model. The camera I used to take these photos was
Nikon Coolpix L310, the quality of this camera
allowed my photos to look more professional as the
images were clear and easy to see. I used PowerPoint,
slide share and blogger in order to present this
evaluation. I did this in order to vary my technology
used and also make it more assessable and
convenient to be marked and moderated.
