What have you learned from
your audience feedback?
When planning the questionnaire, we decided to use questions that would
allow the customers and audience which would allow then to give their
honest opinion. The reason why we did a survey is because we wanted to
collect data that was simple and we wanted to enable ourselves to analyse
the results quicker and easier. The results of this survey allowed us to create
a better outcome of the music video as we were able to identify the
preferences of the target audience which we have set. We used the website
called “survey monkey as this as the best software to use. This was very
useful as it allowed us to analyse the data as the website already breaks
down the results to the users needs in graphs such as a bar chart , pie chat
etc. This does not only analyse the information which was received from the
audience but it allowed us to display the data easily. One of the main reason
for the questionnaire was to get ideas and a brief image of what the music
video looks like. To get a better understanding of the survey, we decided to
make it open for the public to answer. The answers which we have gained
from this were very important and crucial for the development of the music
video. For example, we spoke about the use or narrative or concept
throughout the questionnaire. We based the music video to provide the
needs of having a hybrid. This was going to be a challenge to merge
different types of music styles. What we learnt from this was important as it
helped us create our music video.
From the data which we have received, we had to apply it towards our target audience.
To get more results, we had to use the school email to get a wider audience. The overall
feedback which I have gained from this has allowed me to change the way we had to
make to music video. The feedback allowed us to create a final product which allows us
to apply it to the codes and codes and conventions and the requirements of the
consumers.
Another section of information which I have showed is
Vox pop. This is when one question is asked to some
people to gain some feedback and different opinions from
the people. The question which was asked here was “what
dance sub- genre would you like to see a music video
based upon”. The results which came back from the
people were different. Most of the candidates shared the
results that they would preferably like to see EDM music
and that was the option which was selected most. This
enabled me to base the music video around the chosen
genre. Having this data was crucial and without it the
music video would have been very unclear and hesitant
therefore the research and planning was suitable for this
task. indecisive
There was a post production questionnaire which was made and I have
gained and learnt many different elements the individuals like and
dislike. This was again made on survey monkey as this was the best and
professional way to get a survey complete and to get a lot of responses.
The results which I received allowed me to gain honest opinion from
those who have answered the questions about the music video. The
feedback proved to me that the overall music video was very successful
in reaching out to the target audience and creating a professional
product which they have enjoyed a lot. This has also allowed me to
gather criticism in order to help me to correct the stuff which weren’t
liked by the consumers and the audience. The questions has asked the
audience if the found everything which they saw easy to visual and
understand. This has let me understand if the audience has enjoyed all
the imagery and effects in the music video. This allows me to analyse and
criticize my own product. From the audience feedback, I have learnt that
most of the target audience liked the music video and some thought that
the elements of the video linked well with the codes and conventions of
the genre. In addition, the post questionnaire had enabled me to ask
many questions, for example the colour scheme this crucial information
had let me assess my own music vide and ancillary task. Overall, I had
learnt that the target audience had learnt that most of our target
audience had enjoyed the music video which we created as well as some
of them were able to identify the correct codes and conventions which
are linked to the genre of our music video
This was one of the final questions on the post production
survey. This asked “how much if you enjoy this music video”.
Out of 11 answers, only 3 people said they gave it 10/10 which
was then a percentage of 27%. The results were pretty positive
and only a few said they did not like the music video. When
making this task I had asked a group of people from our target
audience on average the same age but mixed genders. What I
learnt the most from this when I made it was there was quite
some criticism about the final product. For example, a high
percentage from our survey said they found it quite hard to
follow the narration of the music video.
I had to use two methods, I used the questionnaire on Survey
Monkey and I have also did a written questionnaire. This
allowed me to receive different results as the question based
questionnaire gave me similar results where as the online based
survey gave me results which didn’t quite match.
Here I have used the paper questionnaire which will help me
evaluate the digipak and the magazine advert which I have
created based on the feedback which I have received from the
questionnaire. This has allowed me to create the questionnaire
and get individuals who are in the target audience to give me
feedback about the digipak and the advert. I specifically asked
people whoa re between the age group of 16-24 as they are the
ones who are in our target audience

  • 1. Evaluation 3 What have you learned from your audience feedback?
  • 2. When planning the questionnaire, we decided to use questions that would allow the customers and audience which would allow then to give their honest opinion. The reason why we did a survey is because we wanted to collect data that was simple and we wanted to enable ourselves to analyse the results quicker and easier. The results of this survey allowed us to create a better outcome of the music video as we were able to identify the preferences of the target audience which we have set. We used the website called “survey monkey as this as the best software to use. This was very useful as it allowed us to analyse the data as the website already breaks down the results to the users needs in graphs such as a bar chart , pie chat etc. This does not only analyse the information which was received from the audience but it allowed us to display the data easily. One of the main reason for the questionnaire was to get ideas and a brief image of what the music video looks like. To get a better understanding of the survey, we decided to make it open for the public to answer. The answers which we have gained from this were very important and crucial for the development of the music video. For example, we spoke about the use or narrative or concept throughout the questionnaire. We based the music video to provide the needs of having a hybrid. This was going to be a challenge to merge different types of music styles. What we learnt from this was important as it helped us create our music video.
  • 3. From the data which we have received, we had to apply it towards our target audience. To get more results, we had to use the school email to get a wider audience. The overall feedback which I have gained from this has allowed me to change the way we had to make to music video. The feedback allowed us to create a final product which allows us to apply it to the codes and codes and conventions and the requirements of the consumers. Another section of information which I have showed is Vox pop. This is when one question is asked to some people to gain some feedback and different opinions from the people. The question which was asked here was “what dance sub- genre would you like to see a music video based upon”. The results which came back from the people were different. Most of the candidates shared the results that they would preferably like to see EDM music and that was the option which was selected most. This enabled me to base the music video around the chosen genre. Having this data was crucial and without it the music video would have been very unclear and hesitant therefore the research and planning was suitable for this task. indecisive
  • 4. There was a post production questionnaire which was made and I have gained and learnt many different elements the individuals like and dislike. This was again made on survey monkey as this was the best and professional way to get a survey complete and to get a lot of responses. The results which I received allowed me to gain honest opinion from those who have answered the questions about the music video. The feedback proved to me that the overall music video was very successful in reaching out to the target audience and creating a professional product which they have enjoyed a lot. This has also allowed me to gather criticism in order to help me to correct the stuff which weren’t liked by the consumers and the audience. The questions has asked the audience if the found everything which they saw easy to visual and understand. This has let me understand if the audience has enjoyed all the imagery and effects in the music video. This allows me to analyse and criticize my own product. From the audience feedback, I have learnt that most of the target audience liked the music video and some thought that the elements of the video linked well with the codes and conventions of the genre. In addition, the post questionnaire had enabled me to ask many questions, for example the colour scheme this crucial information had let me assess my own music vide and ancillary task. Overall, I had learnt that the target audience had learnt that most of our target audience had enjoyed the music video which we created as well as some of them were able to identify the correct codes and conventions which are linked to the genre of our music video
  • 5. This was one of the final questions on the post production survey. This asked “how much if you enjoy this music video”. Out of 11 answers, only 3 people said they gave it 10/10 which was then a percentage of 27%. The results were pretty positive and only a few said they did not like the music video. When making this task I had asked a group of people from our target audience on average the same age but mixed genders. What I learnt the most from this when I made it was there was quite some criticism about the final product. For example, a high percentage from our survey said they found it quite hard to follow the narration of the music video. I had to use two methods, I used the questionnaire on Survey Monkey and I have also did a written questionnaire. This allowed me to receive different results as the question based questionnaire gave me similar results where as the online based survey gave me results which didn’t quite match. Here I have used the paper questionnaire which will help me evaluate the digipak and the magazine advert which I have created based on the feedback which I have received from the questionnaire. This has allowed me to create the questionnaire and get individuals who are in the target audience to give me feedback about the digipak and the advert. I specifically asked people whoa re between the age group of 16-24 as they are the ones who are in our target audience
