This document describes projects made by five students for their final year of BTech studies. They created a USB lamp with intensity control using a variable resistor, a USB flashlight that can attach to phones and power banks, and a USB fan. The USB lamp uses six SMD LEDs connected to a variable resistor and switch to control brightness. The USB fan uses a 5V DC motor powered through the USB connection. Through these projects, the students learned about USB cable specifications and applications that can be created using the 5V power supplied through USB.
