Usb lamp with Intensity control.
◦ The USB Lightbulb Lamp is as simple to operate as possible: plug it in.
There are no switches, no batteries, no lampshade, and no Bluetooth
pairing.
◦ We have to use GND and +5v for power supply connection.
◦ Simply insert the USB plug into any USB port and
◦ The power cable comes with stand. To control intensity we have used
variable resistor .
◦ By utilizing a flexible electrical conduit for the USB cord, the creators
of the USB Lightbulb Lamp solved two problems simultaneously.
◦ First (and most importantly), they routed power to the LED bulb.
Second, they created a stand that is extremely flexible. You can position
the lightbulb precisely because the cable holds its shape and is strong
enough to support the weight of the bulb.
SMD BASED LED BENEFITS:-
(Surface Mount Devices – Light Emitting Diodes)
• SMALLER IN SIZE SO IT CAN BE EASILY FITTED OR SOLDERED INTO PCB
• SMD LEDs IT IS HAS HIGHER INTENSITY IN COMPARE TO NORMAL 5MM OR 10 MM LED BULBS.
REGULAR LED:
They are larger in size than SMDs. Regular LEDs, however, still have many applications for cost-effective lighting. These
applications include solar powered lighting products used in rural areas and developing countries with unreliable power
supplies. Regular LEDs are also a better alternative to compact fluorescent lighting because they use less energy and have a
longer lifespan than fluorescent light bulbs.
BENEFITS OF SMD LED:
A smaller size is a primary benefit of SMD LEDs. Even though regular LEDs are smaller than most other types of lights, new
electronic devices continue to require even smaller light sources. Hard drives, flash drives and other computer components
require the efficient use of space. On devices where space is at a premium, SMDs can provide a light source without taking
up a significant amount of room inside these devices. Outdoor and indoor displays, therefore, benefit greatly from SMDs
because they help arrange light in tight groups, creating more colours and high quality images.
LIFE OF A LED:
The lifespan of an LED light depends mainly on the quality of the light’s manufacturing process. An SMD LED can last up
100,000 hours. In other words, an SMD LED can provide more than 11 years of continuous lighting. Additionally, LED lights
won’t burn out like incandescent light bulbs unless serious hardware damage occurs. The brightness of an LED can,
however, gradually fade. Lifespan depends on the temperature and the setting for the brightness of the light.

Usb lamp
■ The circuit of usb lamp is very simple .
In this circuit the 6 SMD’s are connected
to a variable resistor and a switch
connected in series.
■ When the usb is connected to a laptop
the lamp is switched on.
■ The switch is used to insert the variable
resistor in the circuit. To control
intensity of light
■ The variable resistor is used to control
the intensity of light according to
surrounding light conditions.
Usb fan
USB Mini Fan is a Small Portable Fan with USB Connector. You can plug
in your USB fan to your computer and laptop and feel the air coming from
the USB Portable Fan.
You can place this small Portable USB Mini fan on your desk to feel the
air. You can also use this USB Mini fan as a cooler to cool down your
computer or laptop heat.
USB Mini Fan has various uses some of the uses I am enclosing below:
1 - As an Laptop Cooler
2 - As an Cooler when no currents
3 - Can be used while doing Body Massage

USB cable
Usb fan
◦ In usb fan we have used a 5V DC Motor
in series with a switch.
◦ Where moving heat/ Dust particles or
for getting cool breeze's the sub fan is
connected to laptop it can be used for
cooling purpose of laptop by.
OUTCOMES
• WE LEARNT ABOUT THE STRUCTURE OF USB CABLE .
• WE CAME TO KNOW THAT THE OUTPUT OF USB CABLE IS 5V.
• WE LEARNT THAT IN USB CABLE THERE ARE TWO DATA CABLES AND
TWO POWER SUPPLY LINES WHICH GIVES OUT THE OUTPUT OF 5V DC.
• WE HAD MADE MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS FROM USB DATA
CABLE, OTG CABLE, CHARGER CABLE. WE HAVE ALSO USED
SMD BASED LED TECHNOLOGY.
