What do you consider a sport?
Football, basketball, volleyball, and many more... these are all known as common sports that
people participate in. How many people were involved in sports during high school or even now
in college? What is it that makes it a sport? Is it the time commitment? Well what about the
competitiveness? We are all used to spending hours and hours on end practicing and preparing
for something whether that be a game, a tournament, or a competition... We have all been there
before. I started dancing fourteen years ago, when I was just three years old. Growing up, some
of my friends always asked me why I wanted to be apart of something that wasn t even
considered a sport, but to me it was and it was the best thing I could have ever been involved in.
Anything that consists of countless hours of practicing and is competitive should be considered a
sport. The opinions on this topic are endless, but I m going to discuss three reasons why I believe
dance should be considered a sport. Dancers practice just as much, if not more than other sports,

it came down between New York and Chicago. They had another election day for it, and Chicago
upset New York.
Everybody was excited for Chicago. But Chicago had a lot of work to do. So, they had to get a
landscape architect, and had to get a lot of construction workers moving. Once they started that
they had to pick a park to have the fair in. They wanted to build more skyscrapers to make the city
look bigger. Large numbers of rich citizens tried to build the buildings but they weren t building but

As tensions rose in Chicago. The plan of the fair got more complicated. Burnham and Root
continued to get their jobs finished before people from foreign countries arrive. It took longer for
them to build with technology of 1893. Burnham who was the lead architect and Root another
architect. Are working together to finish the fair project.
Which they both said that the fair is the biggest project they`ll ever have . The murders mostly
took place in Chicago but the book says they were occasional lurch across state line it says that on
page xi. One other thing about the book is the architects from the fair. One is from New York and
one is from Chicago. But they said they were tied together . They both talk about marrying beautiful
women and having children. And both of their offices are facing south.
The books time line last 1890 1893. And covers the struggles of Daniel Burnham and John Root.
They worked hard on trying to get the world fair landscaping done and make the fair
perfect. And give The United States of America a good name. Because at the beginning of the book

In today s society, both male and female are expected to play specific gender roles. In Canada
women and men are thought of as equal, having the same rights to respect, autonomy, and
independence (Bonvillain and Miller 2013: 39). The Canadian Border Services Agency ignored
this right when the agency allowed religious travelers to avoid female guards. Although men and
women may have different roles in their households and communities, their work and activities
are equally valued and socially rewarded (Bonvillain and Miller 2013: 39). These roles play an
important part in shaping the way individuals think about others in society. The CBSA should not
have approved the request of the religious travelers as it devalued the female guards rights by
promoting genderinequality and male dominance.
The approval of the males request raises the gender issue of gender inequality. Specifically
because of their gender, the female guards could not perform their regular duties as a CBSA
officer. Women and men should be thought of as equal by having the same rights to respect,
autonomy, and independence (Bonvillain and Miller 2013: 39). In certain societies, women are

We came to this decision because we felt that if a few professional psychiatrist can render him
mentally competent than he should be allowed to make his own decisions because it is moral.
This is moral because people should be allowed to do what they want with their body, and as

Viktor E. Frankl, a psychiatrist and holocaust survivor, was born into a Jewish family in Vienna,
Austria on March 26, 1905. Throughout his early life Frankl portrayed an immense interest into
psychology and the inner workings of the human thought process. Frankl completed his schooling
in psychology at the University of Vienna in 1925. He practiced psychiatry until 1942, when he and
his family were deported to the Nazi ghetto of Theresienstadt where he was kept until he and his
wife were transferred to the Auschwitz concentration camp. It is here that Frankl s written story
begins. Frankl, however, does not write the story of the typical concentration camp survivor.

commercial pilot for Delta where I would like to fly Boeing 747 s. I would like to start off small
flying privately for a CEO or other top official at a company to start off my career after my
military career. This is a small slow start but the opportunities are endless, and wouldn t be as
overwhelming as jumping straight up to flights with hundreds of people and a very busy
schedule. In the end, I took this class for a few reasons, to get prepared for flight, to learn the
basics of flight, and lastly because I have aspirations of being a pilot after high school. I hope all
goes well in my journey in becoming a pilot so that I can pursue my childhood dream of
