McCarthys book The Road. McCarthy has garnered a lot of attention lately. His
book No Country for Old Men was turned into a powerful and moving film that

and bluntness that often leaves readers stunned. His novel Blood Meridian is so
relentlessly violent that many have had to put the book down just to give their

in short, direct sentences. He never used quotation marks and sometimes the words

Creation Myths Compare and Contrast Essay For thousands of years, scientists
have tried to interpret the concept of creation. However, before people had access
to modern scientific equipment, they told creations stories. A creation story is a
myth that explains how and why the earth was made. A few cultures with differing
opinions on creation are Europeans, Cherokee Indians, West Africans, and
Hawaiians. Europeans tell the story of Genesis and God creating the earth in seven
days and Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Cherokee Indians believe that the
earth was created by a water beetle. In West African culture, they teach the Golden
Chain story, and Hawaiians have the Kumulipo story to explain their beliefs on
creation. Although each story follows a basic guideline, they all have distinct
disparities. Throughout the plot of these four creation stories, it is visible that

terrain of depth called the economy of language. Actors may not know it, but they

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is one of the four personality disorders in
Cluster B. These four personality disorders are tied together due to similar
symptoms. People with a Cluster B personality disorder are often viewed as overly
emotional, self dramatizing, and unstable. The other three Cluster B disorders are
antisocial, borderline, and histrionic. NPD is characterized by a pattern of
grandiosity, a constant need of admiration, and a lack of empathy for others (Frey,
2012). According to Kernberg and Kohut, the roots of NPD can be traced to
disturbances in the parent child relationship before the child turned three years old
(Frey, 2012). However, Kernberg differed from Kohut in that Kernberg believed
that NPD was rooted in a defense by the child towards an unempathetic and cold

A person s character or personality is made up of various traits (Hertz, 2011). Some
of those traits can be adaptive and useful in one situation yet dysfunctional in another
(Hertz, 2011). A person is diagnosed with a personality disorderwhen these character
traits become so maladaptive and inflexible that they begin to cause significant
impairment in occupational or social functioning or cause subjective distress (Hertz,
2011). As previously mentioned, some of the most common characteristics of NPD
include having a constant need for admiration, grandiosity, and a lack of interest in
anyone but themselves (Marissen, Brouwer, Hiemstra, Deen, Franken, 2016). Other
patterns of NPD include a very high sense of entitlement, arrogant, and feeling like
they are very special and can only be understood by and associate with other high
status people like themselves (American Psychiatric Association, 2013). Working

Stoneman Douglas High School shooting
The shooting incident in Florida was a shooting and mass murder incident on
Wednesday 14 February 2018 At 2:20 PM, at the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas
School in Parkland, 17 students and school staff were killed in the attack and 14
were taken to hospitals, 3 of them critically. 12 of the killers were killed inside the
school campus, 2 were killed in front of the school, 1 was on the street and 2 were
hospitalized.
The shooting named Nikolas Cruz was born in September 1998 (19 years old). A
former school student who was dismissed for disciplinary reasons. Several reports
said Nikolas Cruz was a member of the right wing organization of the Republic of
Florida, but the organization s leader said his group had nothing to do with the

itineraries that took several days to arrive at their destination. Later in 1971, Smith
acquired a majority interest in Arkansas Aviation Sales. It was here that Smith

The overall organizational structure of the FedEx Corporation consists of six
independent business units: FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, FedEx
