Federation Square or also known as Fed Square was initially designed in 1997
through a public competition announced by former premier Jeff Kennedy, the site
later opened on the 26th of October 2002. Consuming a total city block the site has
an entire floor area of 38,000 sqm or 9.39 acres, positioned superbly adjacent
Flinders Street Station and St. Pauls Cathedral. The initial competition phase of the

But her restrictive Hollywood image only seemed to add to her insecurity and
troubles. The sexual glorification of Monroe stems from the constant exploitation
that she has described from her earlier days in the business. While she both
despised and played to this, Marilyn Monroe would resent being typecast as a not
too smart sex symbol and would fight a very hard but ultimately losing battle to get

moves companies from a present state to a desired future state with the goal of
enhancing their effectiveness. Yet the process of changing can be painful and less
than successful. This is the story of the USPFO for California and their poor
managing of two simultaneous transformational changes to the organization:
transitioning to the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and splitting
and relocating the organization to two distant locales. The strategic plan was ill fated
and resulted in a leadership/employee estrangement and a silent organizational civil
war. The USPFO for CA needs to focus on reestablishing trust and team building in
order to become a functional organization again.
COMPANY OVERVIEW The USPFO for California has been located at Camp San
Luis Obispo since its establishment in 1928. Their mission is to provide financial,
logistical and contractual support to the California Army National Guard. The
organization falls directly under the authority of The Adjutant General (TAG) who
answers to the Governor. There are four main divisions of the USPFO: Comptroller,
Logistics, Data Processing, and Contracting. The Comptroller Division encompasses,
Technician, Military, and Travel Pay, Budget and Fiscal (accounting), and Vendor

I would have to agree that Citizen Kane was a film ahead of its time. I think this
film revolutionized filmmaking in the aspect of flashbacks and then flashing forward
and then back again. The director, Orson Welles also used long takes throughout the
movie, which I, too, think revolutionized filmmaking. Both of these cinematic
constructions were not necessarily new in 1941 but Welles made them unique, and
they are still used today. Flashbacks in films were established around the 1930s, but
Welles added more to it by going back and forth between reality and flashbacks. It is
