on the novel Carrie by Stephen King. The musical was performed by Near West
Theater in Cleveland and directed by Devon Turchan. The main character who name

when the other students talk about past experiences with Carrie. The main antagonist

building over, they sold sandwiches to go, so that is what we did, sort of. We found

Rain Main Rain Man, a film about an exceptional person, portrays the life of
Raymond Babbot and his struggle to be understood and loved by his brother Charlie
Babbot. This academy award winning drama stars two incredibly talented actors Tom
Cruise (Charlie) and Dustin Hoffman (Raymond). These two brothers, separated at a
young ageby Raymonds exceptional condition, find themselves later in life brought

This is a problem usually categorized by a problem with communicating, learning,
and expression of one s self. Raymond has an extensive routine which he follows
daily from the times of television shows he watches, to bed times, to food he eats, to
the exact arrangement of his room. Anything interfering with this exact routine
makes Raymond extremely nervous. He also has trouble making decisions with the
repeated line I don t know. Though Charlie first thinks Raymond to be stupid,
retarded, and a complete idiot, he later finds Raymond to be an utter genius with
numbers and statistics basically anything to do with order and arrangement.
Excited about having a brother and the opportunity to get the money left by his dad,
Charlie kidnaps Raymond from WallBrook. Very quickly Charlie gets disgusted with
Raymond and unwilling to accept that he doesn t understand some things. Because of
this and the fact that Charlie has such an inability to understand others because of his
own selfishness, Charlie s girlfriend leaves him.
Then begins Charlie and Raymond s infamous trip to California. This part is where I
believe the author is intending to introduce inclusion of exceptional people into the
mainstream, normal life. All of the sudden Raymond is thrown unexpectedly into

From this moment on, the people that worked for Schindler were not just Jews,
they were Schindlerjuden, people who he had the responsibility of protecting. Itzak
Stern was no longer just his accountant and business manager, he was Schindler s
go to person vital to the survival of the Schindlerjuden. Schindler grew closer to
Stern as the war progressed and he began to regard Stern as an equal, sharing
personal thoughts and decisions with him. After the war, Schindler relied on Stern
and the other Schindlerjuden for support as he was never able to live a secure life
because of the effect the war had on him.
The Jews that Schindler protected lived a much different life than Schindler
himself. Life for them was turned upside down as there were no set rules to live
by. The Schindlerjuden lived every day in fear of never having another, never
feeling totally sure of what the future had in store for them. They weren t sure if
they would be able to walk across the Plaszow concentration camp without being
shot by Amon Goeth, they weren t sure if they would be sent off to an extermination
camp, they weren t sure if they would ever be able to live the life they had. This
uncertainty can be seen in Schindler s List. One moment the women Schindlerjuden
were about to have a better life in Schindler s new factory in Czechoslovakia, the next
they were accidentally routed to Auschwitz, and the next they were safely returned to
