Essay On Job Satisfaction
Writing an essay on the topic of job satisfaction presents both challenges and opportunities for
exploration. On one hand, the subject is broad and multifaceted, allowing for a comprehensive
analysis of various factors influencing individuals' contentment in the workplace. On the other
hand, navigating through the vast array of aspects such as work environment, compensation,
work-life balance, and interpersonal relationships requires a careful balance to maintain focus and
coherence.
The difficulty lies in striking the right chord between theoretical frameworks and practical
examples. Balancing statistical data on job satisfaction surveys with real-life anecdotes or case
studies adds depth to the essay but also demands a meticulous approach to integration.
Moreover, the dynamic nature of the workforce and the evolving nature of job satisfaction over
time require a constant update of information to ensure relevance.
Addressing the diverse perspectives on job satisfaction further complicates the task. Different
industries, organizational structures, and cultural contexts can significantly impact individuals'
perceptions of satisfaction. Consequently, the essay must acknowledge and consider these
variations to provide a nuanced and well-rounded analysis.
Crafting a compelling essay on job satisfaction necessitates the synthesis of academic research,
professional insights, and personal reflections. Engaging the reader requires not only a clear and
logical structure but also a writing style that captivates attention without sacrificing the depth of
the content.
In conclusion, while the topic of job satisfaction offers an enriching landscape for exploration,
the challenges lie in managing the complexities inherent in the subject matter. Achieving a
harmonious blend of theory and practical examples, addressing diverse perspectives, and
maintaining relevance in the face of a changing work landscape all contribute to the intricacy of
writing an essay on job satisfaction.

The Basic Parts The Basic Parts There are just five basic parts in a radio frequency
communication system. These are: * Antenna * Amplifier * Filter * Mixer *
Source These five parts are then put together to do one of two basic functions:
transmit or receive. The name of the resulting device is a radio. The radio also may
go by many other names based on marketing considerations or its specific role in
the wireless network. A radio is used to send and receive a signal that flows through
the air as a series of electromagnetic waves. Radios can take on many different
forms. As such, it is not always easy to identify them. When transmitting or
receiving, the goal is to produce a perfect sine wave, of the exact... Show more

Antenna Radiation Pattern When selecting an antenna, both the width of the area
to be covered and the distance of each link must be considered. These
considerations will then determine the type of antenna to use, based on each
antenna s signal pattern. Every antenna has a pattern to the signal. This pattern
applies both to sending and receiving. By convention, the radiation line used to
draw this pattern is placed wherever the power radiating out drops to one half of
the power at the antenna surface. For example, for a dipole antenna:| | As opposed
to a directional antenna:| | | Note in the diagram above that the radiation pattern
does not have an even outline; there is a large main lobe, which is desired, and one
or more side lobes, which are undesirable. These side lobes are also called the minor
lobes. Antennas also have a front to back ratio that is measured in dBs. The forward
gain is the maximum gain at the end of the main lobe of the antenna. The rear gain is
measured either at 180 degrees from the main lobe, or from 90 degrees to 270
degrees from the main lobe. Using the wider sector is the better way to measure this
distance. These back lobes are also undesirable. A front to back ratio of 10 15 dB is
fair, 15 20 dB is good, 20 30 dB is very good, and above 30 dB is excellent. The
regions in between the main and minor lobes are areas of weak signals called nulls.
All antennas have gain, but this may or may not be real
Worst Time In My Life
A time in my life were an incident occurred that had had a major impact on me was
this summer. This summer was probably one the worst times in my life because
my dad left my mom. He left us with nothing because my mom was the reason why
they were no longer together. I couldn t see my dad anymore or even talk to him. I
was left feeling depressed and not wanted. At this point in my life I hated and I did
wish I wasn t alive at that time, It was such miserable time in my life were nothing
got better it just kept getting worse and worse. I cried myself to sleep every night
because I thought everyone hated me and that nobody wanted me. I was stuck
babysitting all the time because my mom was out trying to make money. All my
grandma did was talk about how horrible my dad was and how she wanted him to
die. It just made me mad because it was my mom s fault every part of it was but I
couldn t say that because I loved my mom more than anything in this world. I also
knew she would flip out on me if i said it was her fault because she knew it was. The
thingthat made it ten times worse was that she found someone new and he was the
biggest piece of trash ever. My mom is my queen, she is the best thing that has
ever happened to me, and I couldn t imagine life without her . She just tries so
hard to make everyone else happy that sometimes it brings her spirit down. I know
she didn t leave my dad to make everyone upset, she just needed a break because five

Have you ever read a novel in which a character is talked about often but never
appears or appears but for a brief moment? At times you may think nothing of that
character, you could assume they add nothing to the context of the novel and are
placed to fill up a couple pages, but on the contrary. In some works of literature a
characterwho does not appear at all can have a significance presence. In J.D Salinger
s novelThe Catcher in the Rye Holden the main character s brother, Allie never
appears but is mentioned multiple times. The lack of Allies presence is vital to the
key aspects of Salinger s novel. Often this lack of presence from a character is
done on purpose. It can be done to signify something, make the novel multi
dimensional or to enhance the writing. Ally s absence affects the main character,
the theme of the book, and a development of characters. Allie s lack of appearance
greatly affects Holden s actions throughout novel. This absence is due to his death
at the early age of 11. The major loss of his innocent red headed brother was enough
to break Holden at the tender age of 13. When Allie s death occurred the loss of
Holden s sanity soon followed. I was only thirteen, and they were going to have me
psychoanalyzed and all, because I broke all the windows in the garage. I don t
blame them. I really don t. Holden says. When Holden found out Allie died he didn t

Advantages Of Talk And Chalk Teaching Method
PART 1
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction
This section will discuss about the teaching strategy employed by the teacher in
teaching Accountings to the secondary school students. The Talk and Chalk teaching
method will also be discussed.
1.2Background to the Study
Rena (2010) informed that the UNESCO commissioned Report 2009 commented that
Talk and Chalk teaching method may not be appropriate to prepare students to move
into the 21st Century. Gatto (1999) commented that the traditional teaching is
inappropriate, teacher centered with no opportunity for students to learn problem
solving skills and to experience the real world situation. Abd. Aziz (2013) believed
that too much emphasis on the pen and papers will result in students being able to do
well in written work but weak in communication skills. Hence, good grades do not

The aim of this study is to establish the challenges of teaching financial accounting
in secondary schools. The result showed that only 25 36 percent of the students in
the 9 schools obtained a credit and others are either failures or ordinary pass. It was
recommended to use guided discovery in order to teach effectively. Guided learningis
the teaching of concept in an orderly manner from general to specific.
Cantrell (2004) suggested that there are two different teaching methods to teach
financial accounting and they are exposition and inquiry. The exposition method is
considered to be the conventional way which involves leader centered, leader active,
learner passive and content emphasis. Some of the examples are lecture, traditional
demonstration, discussion, panel discussion, guest speaker, storytelling, reading of
textbooks, drama and handouts or manuals. While the inquiry method is
characterized as leader facilitated, learner centered, leader facilitated, learner active
and learning process
Explain Briefly The Four Conditions For Evolution By...
Evolution: SHE Task
Explain briefly the four conditions for evolution by natural selection according to
Charles Darwin.
1.Reproduction, organisms must reproduce in order to create a new generation
2.Heredity. The offspring must tend to resemble their parents: roughly speaking, like
must produce like .
3.Variation in individual characters among the members of the population. If we are
studying natural selection on body size, then different individuals in the population
must have different body sizes.
4.Variation in the fitness of organisms according to the state they have for a heritable
character. In evolutionary theory, fitness means the average number of offspring left
by an individual relative to the number of offspring left by an average member of the
population. This condition therefore means that individuals in the population with
some characters must be more likely to reproduce (i.e., have higher fitness) than
others.
If these conditions are met for any property of a species, natural selection
automatically results. And if any are not, it does not.
Thus entities, like planets that do not reproduce, cannot evolve by natural selection;
entities that reproduce but in which parental characters are not inherited by their
offspring also cannot evolve by natural selection. But when the four conditions apply,

The study of chemicals found in cells, in biochemistry, allows for a deeper
exploration of the evolutionary links between humans and other organisms. Amino
acid sequencing, DNA DNA hybridization and DNA sequencing are relatively newly
developed forms of technology that have enabled a more thorough consideration of
the evolutionary relationships. Previous to these technologies, scientists such as
Darwin and Wallace were more reliant on comparative anatomy and embryology as
the means of
Sleeping Beauty By Charles Perrault
Throughout history the soulful tale of Sleeping Beauty has been told many times,
and each time the characters and storyline changes, we learn more about the
characters themselves, and why they do what they do.
Sleeping beauty although, a childhood favorite is actually a shockingly violent
narrative compared to the one we all know and love. It has changed in order to fit
social norms for the time and the context has been altered to appeal to the current
audiences of that time.
In the first edition of Sleeping Beauty written in 1697 by Charles Perrault The
sleeping Beauty in the wood , is a tale of rape, adultery and cannibalism. Beauty is
seen to be an innocent naГЇve young girl, not much of a change from modern times,
however prince charming, is not quite charming but rather violent, not only a kiss
occurs, but rape. Charming s character is known to be intoxicatingly sweet, sincere
and full of nothing but charm, here he s nothing but a monster, he simply rapes
beauty while deep in slumber, conceives two children and it ends with everyone
eating each other.
...He left her kissing her children and weeping over them, and went into kill a
young doe that the queen mother ate for supper with as much relish as if it had
been her daughter in law. She was very pleased with her own cruelty (pg.76,
sleeping Beauty of the wood ). Modern times has definitely made it a more child
friendly tale cutting out the adultery and adding fairies and glitter instead making the
prince appear
Head Start Observation
As I finish up my last two hours at the Early Childhood Center that resides on the
university s campus, it has been an adventure for me. I have acquired many new
skills for the classroom, Shadowing for Ms. Bailey class, room 307 was not an easy
process but I got through it. Head Start is located on Winston Salem s University s
campus in its own secluded area, where students who attend Winston Salem won t
bother. Essentially outside of the university the Early Childhoodcenter is placed in a
rough part of town. Around you can find low income based housing, run down gas
stations and ABC stores around. That doesn t stop Head Start from producing the best
students they can, their mission statement is to help low income families in our

in sheet that she kept. She did this because each volunteer that they receive, the
government gives them funding. Ms. Ebrahem is the Principal at the Early
Childhood Center. During my first six hours at Head Start, the activities changed
each day. Ms. Bailey had a lesson plan set for each afternoon. As for my last 4
hours after their spring break, we worked on seasons and how spring is
approaching. Each lesson would pertain to spring and she based the stations around
the classroom off that. Ms. Bailey taught me so much during my Experience, she
has helped me project my voice better and she always gave me tips on how I could
become a better teacher for my future
Our Diverse Stars Research Paper
Our Diverse Stars
When we think of stars, we often think that they are all the same. We often think
that they are all just big balls of gas burning up to billions of light years away.
However, that isn t exactly true. The truth is that stars are very diverse. Just like
anything else in our Universe, stars fall into many different classifications based on
its defining characteristics. In this essay I will discuss several different types of stars.
First, I will discuss protostars. A protostar is a very young starthat is gathering gas
from a giant molecular cloud. The protostar phase of stellar evolution lasts about
100,000 years . (www.universetoday.com) As time goes on, pressure and gravity
increase, which therefore forces tho protostar to collapse down. The energy released
by the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A red giant star becomes a white dwarf star when it runs completely out of hydrogen
fuel in its core and it lacks the mass to force higher elements into fusion reaction.
The outward light pressure from the fusion reaction stops and the star collapses
inward under its own gravity . (www.universetoday.com) A white dwarf was a very
hot star once, so therefore it shines. A white dwarf star will cool down until it
becomes part of the background temperature of the universe. The process takes
hundreds of billions of years.
Sixthly, I will discuss red dwarf stars. Red dwarf stars are very common in our
universe. They are main sequence stars that that have such low mass that they are
much cooler than stars like our sun . (www.phys.com) Red dwarf stars are able to
keep the hydrogen fuel mixing into their core. So to their advantage, they can
conserve their fuel much longer than other stars. Astronomers estimate that some red
dwarf stars will burn up to 10 trillion years. The smallest red dwarfs are 0.075 times
the mass of the sun, and they can have a mass of up to half of the sun .
Forecasting Method
Abstract
Companies forecast in different ways and for different reasons. For the sake of my
current employer, some of the reasons to why they forecast is to ensure that there are
plenty of cellular phones in stock or even to make sure that the company has enough
numbers to assign to customers when they purchase wireless service from us. The
following paper will compare and contrast various forecasting methods while also
elaborating on the method that my current employer use for forecasting sales and
mobile identification number (MDN) requirements.
Forecasting Assignment
Forecasting is the ability to plan ahead for future expectations of what the future may
hold. For example, business forecast every year for what they feel that ... Show more

Casual relationship is a situation in which one event causes another. If the event is
far enough in the future, it can be used as a basis for forecasting. A good example of
this would be a casual relationship between student enrollment and teachers in a
university. If the enrollment of students is higher than normal than it would cause for
additional teachers to be hired and vice versa. This is considered a casual relationship
since additional teachers would not have been hired if enrollment was not up
therefore the high enrollment causes the increased staff.
Now that I have defined each of the forecasting methods discussed within this paper,
I will now compare them to each other. Of the methods discussed in this paper,
Delphi has no comparison to any of the other three methods of forecasting. Delphi
forecasting is used in conjunction with experts and hypotheses rather than gathering
information from other sources and analyzing them. At the same time, Time series
and Casual relationship forecasting has similarities because each is dependent on
another aspect. Though Time series focuses on the seasonal aspects of things, casual
relationship could very well be dependent on the seasons. For example, the Time
series forecasting is big on farmers for planning their crops; however bad weather
would cause a casual relationship between the two. This reasoning is due to the fact
that the forecast
The Carbon Short Story
The Carbon Story The story starts in the Biosphere Animal. There is a piece of
carbon and lignin was his name. He had recently embarked on a journey through a
deer. Lignin was inside the deer for twenty hours. Afterword, lignin jumped into what
he thought was a pool, which was the dirt. He was now apart of the biosphere soil.
While swimming in the soil for fourteen years, Lignin felt something tugging on him.
Mr. mushroom came into sight and Lignin saw him as a fun guy. Mr. mushroom
asked Lignin if he would like to fly. Lignin responded with an excited Yes . In a short
time, Mr. mushroom managed to turn Lignin into a robot that named CO2. CO2 had
then used his newly gained powers to fly into the Atmosphere.

For this reason, he stayed there for 40 years. Eventually, he became lonely and
decided that he wanted to swim with the fishes. To do this, he dissolved himself into
Lake Powell. CO2 was now apart of the Hydrosphere.
Consequently, CO2 had been changed by the water into a carbonate ion in the
hydrosphere. To adapt to the new form, he gave himself the name: Carbo. He had
stayed there for 24 years. Carbo, had one day meet a snail named Gary which had a
cracked shell. Feeling empathetic, Carbo asked what had happen with Gary s shell.
Gary explained that the current had propelled him right into a rock. Carbo had now
been determined to reinforce Gary s shell. According to plan, Carbo became apart of
Gary s shell. Resulting in Carbo meeting the world of the Lithosphere Limestone.
After his 24 years in the Hydrosphere, Carbo had become incorporated into
limestone. His stay lasted millions of years inside the sunset quarter. One day he
was abruptly caught in a volcanic eruption. Consequently, his limestone shell was
dissolved. However, Carbo had once again been reborn a CO2. At the time he didn t
understand why, but he wanted to leave to the atmosphere once again. CO2 listened
to the voice inside and left to the
The Consequences And Extinction Of Animals By Climate...
The Consequences and the Extinction of Animals By Climate Change
The warnings about global warming have been extremely clear for a long time. We
are facing a global climate crisis. It is deepening. We are entering a period of
consequences (Al Gore). Global warming is a nationwide problem that is affecting
people and the environment by the greenhouse gases. Global warming increases the
atmospheric temperature. For instance, the solar radiation is reflected by the Earth s
atmosphere. Earth s surface absorbs most of the radiation, and it warms it. Part of
the invisible light traverses the air. A few are immersed and transmitted in an
outright direction by pollutants molecules. The effect of global warming is an
increased temperature of the earth s surface and the lower atmosphere. According to
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) which measures
long lived greenhouse gases increased 37 percent from 1990 to 2015, and of that,
carbon dioxide accounted for 80 percent of the increase (Keating 2). The greenhouse
gases are causing that the temperatures rise. Global warming is a huge problem that
we face today; it is caused by the greenhouse effect that leads to climate change and
the extinction of many animals.
Global warming is increasing the temperatures in our planet Earth leading to climate
change. The primary reason for global warming is the human development of the
greenhouse effect causing natural disasters. Shaftel declares that Global climate
The American Dream Failure
What is truly the American Dream that people have been trying to achieve all these
years? Is it that Dream of making it big in America, where people hear the
successes stories from rags to riches or does it go beyond things like money,
expensive cars and houses. The American dream itself has no set definition to its
meaning, people can only assign what they think is the right term for it. For this
paper and research on the American DreamThe definition that I came up with is that
the achievement of the American Dream does not come from possessions but more
so from each person personal achievement of happiness while not interfering with
others achievement of happiness. While this definition of the American dream is
broad it is already not achievable.
The Effects Of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease On Obese...
Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in Obese Pediatric Population In the United
States, increasing numbers of obesity in pediatric population is major concern in
health care field. According to Center of Disease Control (CDC), in the United
States obesity in children from 6 to 11 years of age in 1980 was seven percent.
This rate about three times by 2008, to 20%. Adolescents obesity from 12 to 19
years of age in 1980 was five percent and this correspondingly rate more than three
times by 2008, to 18% (CDC, 2012). The CDC accepted the measurement
standards for individuals that are overweight or obese established by the National
Heart Lung and Blood Institute; overweight is more than or equal to a body mass
index (BMI) of 25% and obese is a BMI more than or equal to 30% (National Heart
Lung and Blood Institute, 2012) Fatty liver disease is, lipid or fat buildup in liver
cells contributing to the liver a yellow hue. The cellular injury starts dysfunctional
metabolic processes which can consequence in lipid collection in liver cells
(McCance, 2014). The causative metabolic processes might be: increased dispersion
of fatty acids in the liver, ineffective transformation of fatty acids to triglycerides
instead of phospholipids, failure to carry lipoproteins out of the cell, free radicals
destruct the endoplasmic reticulum, increased synthesis of fatty acids to triglyceride,
decreased synthesis of apoproteins, and un effective binding of lipids to apoproteins

Abortion By Judith Jarvis Thomson
Thomson s example shows that he is in support of the woman and her having the
right to say no. She has the right to walk away and say no to the violinist, even if
this means he dies. It is her body, and she did not give the violinist permission to
use it. The woman and the violinist are examples of rape in this case. If a man
physically rapes a woman, and she becomes pregnant, she has a right to an abortion
because she has not given the man or the fetus the right to use her body. Although the
abortion will kill the fetus, the woman s action is not unjust because the fetus did not
have the right to use her body. Now, if the woman voluntarily gave the violinist
permission to use her body for about nine months or years, and halfway through she
Essay on Title IX
As part of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title lX states that, No person in
the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be
denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education
program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. This act has been one
the most controversial and most scrutinized amendments to be passed in years and
it has never been re evaluated. It has done a lot during its years by increasing
womens sports at all levels and even decreasing mens sports at mainly the collegiate
level. In this paper I will discuss the ways that it has a positive and negative effects as

If say you have a division 3 school, with 5500 students, 3000 men and 2500 women.
The idea that the school is going to be able to have at least 75% of those students
show or give interest towards a certain sport or a certain inter mural game, is very
hard to actually accomplish. The idea that also, the underrepresented gender must
have the ability to play the game is also very difficult to judge. I guess if a team
can not win a game all season but has double the amount of interest than spots
available on the team, maybe that would or would not require equal funding. I
think this prong test of compliance needs to be re evaluated. Another issue that I
think needs to be taken into effect is football. There is no sport or club, male or
female, that can equal the same amount of funding needed for a football team and
even created by a football team. Some smaller division 2 and 3 schools will even
have a JV and Freshman football team along with their traveling varsity program.
The amount of money that division 1 football programs bring in for the school is
amazing. Just the amount of men that it takes to fill up a football roster will keep
prong 2 alive. As long as there is a big football program, women will need to have
continual expansion of sports, or the teams already in place, which will in turn, have
the loss of smaller, not as popular, men s sports being dropped. There has been over
300 men s

Union grove team to figure out matches. With only one person in my weight class,
and he s wrestling varsity I had little probability to wrestle. After we were done
eating, the JV started to warm up. With a few stretches and rough moves. We
gathered to see if who was going to wrestle. With little chance of wrestling I was
astounded when My coach said I was wrestling. At that moment nervousness filled
my body. My coach explained to me that I was wrestling someone two weight classes
above mine. Starting with the lower weights, matches began. I was the eighth
match out of nine matches. I sat down to try and gather myself and think of how
the match would go. Before I knew it, four matches had occurred before me. At

Also they can have a wide array of choices since they do not have to keep large
quantities of all items in stock. They should also offer a little flexibility to the
customer by letting them bring some idea into the catering service that they may
have, or have seen some other place. This will show that they are interested in the
needs of the customer as well as offering them goods and services for profit. This
ultimately could be a way of marketing research that helps the company stayed
informed on the introduction of new products in the industry. Also Kudler needs
to make sure that their prices stay competitive to other catering services in the area.
They can offer services that may result in a higher fee; for example it will cost
more to have the meal prepared by a celebrity chef. They should be flexible with
the costs offering different meals at different costs to the customer. It cannot be
stressed enough that Kudler needs to focus on staying competitive since this is a
new service that will be added and they do not have the reputation of some other
catering companies in the area. Kudler also needs to decide if they will start off as
a small caterer only doing small parties or will they do banquets and weddings. The
difference in the location is the staffing that they will have to offer at the events as
well as the staffing it

Davis said she and Douglas County School System Superintendent Gordon Pritz were
presented with the idea of beginning a school based health service and she said they
felt Douglas County students would greatly benefit from it.
Recognizing the need, I applied for a planning grant with Emory University to study
the feasibility of establishing a health center in Douglas County, said Davis.
She said to determine if the county needed this facility she looked at how students
were receiving health care, if they had insurance and where in the county would
benefit the most from having this facility. From the results of her study she said
Burnett Elementary and Eastside Elementary were the locations that would benefit
the most from the health care facility.
A news release from the school system said the purpose of the full range health
center is to help students avoid health related absences. The health center will be open
during school hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30

The first group are the customers that desire an already created graphic image to
be placed on their t shirt. The second group are those that prefer custom graphic
image to be placed on their t shirt. TeesforPeeps has decided to divide the market by
the products that they purchase because it offers an intuitive, and easy to
understand presentation of the two different groups. An additional reason for
segmenting the market based on the two products is because the demographics for
the buyers of the two products are distinct enough to group them separately. Not
only are TeesforPeeps is dividing the market by product type, but also effectively
dividing the market by age as well since the customers who purchase the custom
artwork shirts tend to be older than the group preferring the ready made graphics.
While this is not a hard and fast rule, it is a pretty accurate generalization.
TeesforPeeps has chosen these segments as their demographics (reasonably young)
have the highest likelihood of purchasing a t shirt from TeesforPeeps. Both of these
segments are reasonably young. This is important because most of TeesforPeeps s
products are T shirts and younger people tend to wear them frequently.
Music and television is also an important interest for the target markets since both
segments listen to and watch more than average amount of music and television

Who doesn t like truffles? Everyone likes truffles. These tiny chocolaty balls are

Clinical Supervision Essay
Introduction: Clinical supervision is the relationship between supervisor and
supervisee established for the development of the professional attitude and
improvement of clinical competence of supervisee (National Association of Social
Workers, 1994). The role of a supervisor is crucial and demanding, as they provide
direction to the supervisee, standardise their knowledge, improve skills and maintain
the ethics in the clinical practice setting. As stated by Corey, Haynes, Moulton and
Muratori (2010) that every health professional at some stage of their profession has
to play a role of either supervisee or supervisor. There is a greater need to understand
Supervision functions and responsibilities of supervision. The supervisor and the

Which can be done by preparing a template which includes the process of
supervision, evaluation system and outcome to measure success (Royal college of
nursing, 2002). There are also various models and theories given by several authors
to make supervision effective (Sloan Watson, 2002). Understanding functions of
these models and theories can prove its importance in conducting a supervision
session. The supervision session can be recorded for the purpose of debriefing. It
can either be audio or video recording or in written documentation. This provides an
opportunity to closely observe the issues and gives enough time to critically think
about them. We can think about how the session went and what can be done to make
it more efficient. In my understanding, the session should be carried out in such a
way that, the supervisee takes the feedback positively. It should help supervisee clear
their doubts and handle the situation with confidence. According to Borders and
Brown (2005, p. 25), Supervision session can be enhanced with a positive and strong
working relationship, this will act as a buffer for situations which cannot be
The Characteristics Of A Trickster Story
For a story to be a great trickster story, the story must contain certain qualities along
with the characters having certain characteristics. Among these traits, three are very
important in the story. The use of anthropomorphism, the gods, spirits and
supernaturals, and the negative qualities of the trickster. All of these are equally
important, but in there own way. The Use of Anthropomorphism plays a big rule in a
trickster tale. Anthropomorphism is giving non human characters human qualities.
In the trickster tale of ВЁHow Stories Came to EarthВЁ, anthropomorphism is used
with the description of the protagonist, which is a spider. When the author refers to
the protagonist, he uses certain adjectives that really paint a picture for the reader.
Such as, ВЁ...Sometimes looking more like a wise old man than a spider...ВЁ. The
author describes the protagonist as if he were a sage, which is ludicrous when
describing a spider. In another tale titled the, ВЁCoyote steals firesВЁ, they used
small adjectives to describe the godof Thunder. ВЁThunder was a fearful beingВЁ,
using the adjective fearful to describe ThunderВґs power over the other creatures.
Lastly, the tale of, ВЁMaster Cat, or Puss in BootsВЁ, uses this element of a
trickster. ВЁJust get me a pouch and have a pair of bootsВЁ. CatВґs are not going to
dress up in boots and live in a person s pouch, it definitely will not request on either.
The use of Anthropomorphism is important to a trickster tale, nevertheless, the

Difference Between Parliamentary And Presidential
Democracy
Democracy is the art and science of running the circus from the monkey cage. Henry
Louis Mencken. These two types of democracy, presidential and parliamentary both
contain a number of key differentiating factors. These democratic systems distinguish
themselves as the leaders of the two democratic are elected in different branches of
their respective government, lose their power dissimilarly, and hold clear distinctions
between the head of government and the head of state.
First and foremost, the two classifications of democracy, presidential and
parliamentary, most substantial and crucial distinction is that the president of a
presidential democracy is an elected individual voted into the executive branch of
government directly by the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The difference in the two, presidential and parliament, location in the branches of
government, executive and legislative, respectively, has a critically affects the
difficulty of turning a bill into a law.
Along with the contrast in branches, the two democratic schemes further diversify as
the leaders of presidential and parliamentary systems lose their power differently. In a
presidential system, there is a fixed term limit that dictates how long the president
can reside in power: the terms of office of both president and assembly are fixed.
(Shugart and Mainwaring, pg.14). A fixed terms causes the president to be in
office with a much lesser danger of losing power, with his or her only danger being
impeachment which has been extremely rare in North American presidential
systems as only two presidents in the history of the United States have been
impeached, Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1999. Also, this leads to
presidency having scheduled elections as the president s time is limited.
Conversely, in parliamentary, there is no fix term and an election is called on the
advice of the prime minister, thus, the prime minister does not lose his or her place
in office due to a time limit. However, the prime minister has a much greater chance
of losing his or her position of power due to the need to be supported by the majority
in legislature: The chief executive power must be supported by a majority in the
legislature and can
William Frankfurt s Little Book On Bullshit
Consistently, we can see clear cases of both bologna and lying and the differing
outcomes of both these activities. Be that as it may, what is horse crap, precisely?
What are the qualities of bologna? What is reality? Will horse crap be destructive?
The motivation behind this paper is to answer these inquiries while in the meantime
demonstrating that horse crap can most likely once in a while be hurtful. By looking
at: the importance of horse crap as characterized by Harry Frankfurt, why Frankfurt
believes that bologna is hurtful, and an obviously safeguarded unique contention, the
likelihood of mischief from bullshitting will be demonstrated. In Harry Frankfurt s
little book On Bullshit , he recognizes the significance of bologna while in the
meantime demonstrating to us various ways that it can be destructive. The substance
of horse crap fixates on the thought that bullshitters have no sympathy toward reality.
In any case, genuine horse crap broadens past this inside thought on the grounds that
we understand that bullshitters allocate no quality to truth in any connection. To any
individual who values reality in any way, horse crap can totally confuse them in light
of the fact that they think that its difficult to accept individuals would just totally
dismiss reality with no push to finding it. Bologna varies from lying in light of the
fact that liars perceive reality and simply decide to hoodwink on the grounds that they
think something else or need others to think

The Living Planet Index ( Lpi )
Over the course of history, many scientist experts have raised the fright and panic
about population numbers that only increase every year. According to the Living
Planet Report, the Living Planet Index (LPI), which measures more than 10,000
representative populations of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish, has
declined by 52 per cent since 1970. Population sizes of different species in the
world has dropped by at least half. Some of these species are the living things that
establishes the fabric of the ecosystems which sustain life on Earth. In the
following two centuries, the population increased at an annual growth rate of 6 per
1,000, reaching 2.5 billion by 1950. In the following five decades, it has more than
doubled, at a growth rate of 18 per 1,000 to reach more than 6 billion in 2000. The
world populationwill reach 8 billion to 10 billion by the year 2030 (Robbins, 130).
Today, we are using and taking so much from our ecosystems and natural processes,
we are actually exposing and exploiting our own very existence on Earth. Nature
preservation and sustainable ecological development complement each other. They
are just as much about protecting the future of humanity our well being, economy,
food security, and social stability. Earth s population is approaching ten billion at the
same time that resource limits and environmental deprivation are becoming more
apparent every day. Rich countries have long guaranteed poor nations that they, too,

Maggie And Dee
In the short story, Everyday Use, Alice Walker uses her contrasting characters of
Maggie and Dee to show a cultural split. Dee, the eldest daughter, comes home to
visit her family who lives a very traditional way of life. Dee has gone to college and
lives a more modernist lifestyle, whereas her sister Maggie has not gone to school
and lives a more traditionalist lifestyle. This difference between the sisters shows the
division in the 1960 s between a traditionalist and modernist lifestyle through her
characters Maggie and Dee.
During the 1960s some African Americans began to replace their birth names with
names of African or Muslim descent, but what was the reason behind this change? In

This appreciation also leads to Dee changing not only her lifestyle, but several
other things such as her apparel and name; which is described as stereotypically
African. However, Dee s new found appreciation does seem, like Hakims, to be
more of a fad. In Diane Ross s article, Everyday Use, she states, To Dee, artifacts
such as the benches or the quilts are strictly aesthetic objects. It never occurs to her
that they, too, are symbols of oppression: Her family made these things because
they could not afford to buy them (Ross ). This shows, unlike her sister Maggie,
Dee s perception of the quilts are strictly aesthetic and artistic pieces that reflect
African Heritage. Dee never considers they may represent oppression themselves
and it makes her seem as though she wants them solely just to show off. In
addition, Ross goes on to state, Her admiration for them now seems to reflect a
cultural trend toward valuing handmade objects, rather than any sincere interest in
her heritage. After all, when she was offered a quilt before she went away to
college, she rejected it as old fashioned, out of style (Ross ). This shows that Dee s
change to a modernist lifestyle was influenced through a cultural trend. This also
alludes to when Dee rejected a quilt before she went to college, but now that she has
discovered the cultural trend of college, she wants one.
The Blended Economy Of United Kingdom
Abstract This research paper is about the blended economy of United Kingdom. It

been experienced such a sensational changes inside of most recent couple of years.
How its economy has got effected in which years and how these progressions has
been occurred, is talked about in this report and the significant three thoughts of
three unique financial analysts has been examined. Introduction: UK : One of the
biggest and most prosperous economies on the planet 6th biggest on the planet in

biggest on the planet; development is the other huge non benefits area, with a 6%

its share of GVA has declined to 2%. The UK s mechanical qualities likewise touch

The Importance Of Being Tolerant In The Tang Dynasty
The Tang Dynasty was a time period that lasted from 608 up until 907 b.c. The
tang was also a very tolerant era. They were tolerant of many things such as other
religions and other culture beliefs other than only Chinese beliefs, but was being
tolerant a good or bad thing in this time period? An example of tolerance at its
finest in this period is the royal family of Tang, surnamed Li, was of non Han
Chinese origin. One benefit of the Tang being tolerant is a better war defense for
protection from rivals. Another way being tolerant benefits them is by not only
having a good defense but also by having more allies for attacking in war. Lastly,
being tolerant in the Tang dynastywas beneficial to them by providing more
opportunities to learn about other cultures.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They would be capable of doing this because they let a lot of people of many
different races and religions into their area. With being tolerant, many people
would be more relenting to go to war on their side. This would also prevent many
people of different cultures to feel hatred against the Tang, which could later
protect them from getting attacked and overthrown. On the other hand, some
rulers still weren t fully reliable to this idea. They still had some segregation for
people that are full blooded chinese. An example of this would be Taizong, his
civilization took a test on how many people were full blooded chinese. When the
results came back, Taizong s name was at number three, so he had them take the test
back and make him look like he was the most full blooded chinese. This proves that
no matter how chinese he was, he still wanted to look like the best, according to John

LGBT Representation On The LGBT Community
LGBT Representation
The topic is about the impact that representation has on the LGBT community.
LGBT representation matters because people live vicariously through their role
model, it influences how people come out, it helps people self realize and the main
reason why this topic is so important is because of how drastically underrepresented
they are. Two proposed social changes are for there to be more LGBT characters on
television shows and for there to be more positive LGBT role models.
LGBT representation matters because people tend to live vicariously through their
role model (Gomillion Giuliano, 2011). This happens because of similarity
identification. Similarity identification happens when an individual idolizes someone
and wants to live vicariously through the actions of the role model (Gomillion
Giuliano, 2011). This can be both beneficial and harmful. It can be beneficial
because the individual feels represented in a positive way. However, it can also be
harmful because of traumatic content displayed in the media.
It can be harmful because of the Bury Your Gays trope. The Bury Your Gays trope is
a trope where gays will get killed off for shock value. It can be quite traumatic. There
were 33 lesbians and bisexual women killed off between the first of June in the year
2015 and the 31st of May in the year 2016. The first of June of last year and May
31st of this year there have been 19 lesbians and bisexual women killed off. Some

The Demographics Of The U.s. Essay
The demographics of the U.S. are forever evolving. No generation is like the one
before. Trends come and go, ethnic diversity increases, and social norms change.
Therefore, as expected, the need and attitude towards particular products changes.
There are very few consumer items that are able to withstand the test of time.
Those products are typically essential lifestyle or hygiene goods. For example,
products like bath soap have been around for years and it is unlikely that the need
for them go away anytime soon. With that being said, it does not mean that products
like soaps, shampoos, etc. do not need to evolve with the changing desires of our
country. They too must also add variety into their product mix, as well as changetheir
methods of marketing to keep up with the times. Let s now take a look at some
demographic trends that will impact how companies market in the U.S. for the years
to come.
Hispanic Population Growth
Hispanics are the fastest growing ethnic/racial group in America. In 2014, the U.S.
Census Bureau reported that Hispanics make up over 17% of the population and it
projects that they will account for nearly 30% of the population by the year 2060.
This change will greatly impact what products companies put out on the market, who
they market them to, and how they market them. A 2010 report on demographics
conducted by the Nielsen Company revealed that Hispanics spend more money on
baby items (formula, diapers, etc.). Diaper brands Pampers, Huggies, and

Nicaragu A Democratic System
Nicaragua: one of Central s America s largest countries gets it name derived from
Nicarao a Nahuatl name that means next to the water (Belli, Humberto 1985 Pg.
15). Nicaragua is about the size of New York State and spans over 51,000 square
miles. It is bounded by the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea, with Honduras and
Costa Rica bordering. The estimated population is about 5 million as of 2011 and a
national census has not been done since then. The median age of Nicaraguans is 15
because of the number of adult lives lost in the hurricane of 1998 and the Sandinistas
revolution of 1979. Wealth in Nicaraguais measured by how much land a person

Poor Nicaraguans have worse social indicators when it comes to education than
those at a higher income bracket. Quit ironic in a sense, but in Nicaragua access to
education is universal, school is free for everyone, but many economic and social
berries block the path to education. As a result, many of the poor children do not
even complete primary school due to late entrance to school, high repetition of
classes, and the low quality of the schools. Another key factor that has lead to the
poverty and suffering of the people is the Nicaraguan health system. The Nicaraguan
Health system has been moving from a socialist system to a more modularized
system inching towards universal health care for its people. The total population is
covered by a social health program. In January 2007, the government introduced the
so called Free Health Care Policy (polГtica de gratuidad). It is controlled by the
MHO Ministry of Health Organization and they oversee the program. It is more of a
mixture of a Bismarck, National Health Insurance Model, and Out of pocket style
health care model and only employed citizens are required to have the health

Why Is There Evil Do Humans Have Free Will Analysis
The article, Why is There Evil? Do Humans Have Free Will, presents inquisitive
arguments to deliver Thomas Aquinas claims on the attributes or nature of God as
omniscient (all knowing), omnipotent (all powerful), and omnibenevolent (all good)
in reference to the problems of evils and free will. Aquinas intention was to produce
rational sense on basic Christianity beliefs such as attributes of God. Although these
attributes are simple and straightforward to understand, these characteristics seem
inconsistent in terms of evil and free willconcepts. Throughout the article, various
arguments are presented to devise resolutions and to provide valid reasons that these
attributes are logically true. Subsequently, these arguments lead me to more

This argument continues to questioning God s capability to vanish evil (omnipotent),
capability to know Satan s actions (omniscient), and capability to desire cessation of
evil (omnibenevolent). As the logic continues, I feel that the analysis shows
depletion of faith. It shows lack of faith because this argument implies that the
justification of God s nature/attributes are dependent upon the evil existence. I
understand that philosophers and critics have to use these analogies in order to find
truth. However, there are other evidences that prove God s all powerful, all
knowing, and all good attributes. The miracles of healing terminal diseases that
doctors cannot explain is just one example. God s attributes are seen everyday

This lead to absolutism because the Hohenzollern were vicious people that wanted
their religion to spread. This motivated and pushed Prussia to fight for land and
spread Protestantism. In acquiring absolutism, Prussia s spread of religion and
claiming of land would not only get rid of their rival, but also improve the chances
at attaining absolutism. Because the Reformation of Protestant religion, the
Hohenzollerns were all for the spreading of land and religion. The spreading of
religion would drastically make a big change in absolutism because the population
and supporters of the country would significantly go up. This would come with
perks such as many more military soldiers which would form a stronger, better
army. This army would be unstoppable as it was a strong during Frederick I was in
charge, it got stronger when Frederick II took power, and now it would top the
amount of power and strength it already had over the other countries. The motivation,
strength, and confidence that Protestantism gave the Hohenzollerns and its followers
was enough to give Prussia that edge and power which led to the successful absolute
JupiterВґs Europa Moon
Europa is the sixth of Jupiter s moons and the fourth largest. Europa is named after
a Phoenician princess who was abducted by Zeus and taken to the island of Crete to
be his lover. Europa was discovered by Galileo Galilei and possibly Simon Marius in
1610 and is one of the four Galilean satellites. The others being: Io, Ganymede, and
Callisto. Europais very different from the other moons of Jupiter. Instead of a rocky,
cratered surface like Callisto and Ganymede, it instead has a smooth outer surface
of cracked ice. There are very few sign of craters on Europa. In fact, only three
large craters have been found. This indicates that Europa s surface is very young
and active. In photographs sent back by orbiters, the surface resembles sea ice on
Earth. Astronomers believe that beneath this layer of ice may exist an ocean, kept
liquid by the moon s internal heat. This liquid ocean could be as much as 30 miles
deep. The existence of deep ocean vents on the ocean floor on Earth have led some
scientists to speculate that there could be a possibility of life on Europa. Around
these deep sea vents on Earth are life forms that do not need sunlight to survive.
They instead feed on bacteria that get their nutrients from chemicals seeping up
from the ocean floor. This process is known as chemosynthesis. Scientists believe
that similar life forms could evolve on Europa if a liquid ocean does indeed exist
beneath its frozen surface. The most apparent features on Europa are a series

Steven D. Levitt s Freakonomics
Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything by
Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner is an enlightening novel that shows people
how the world actually works. Throughout the six chapters of this book, Levitt and
Dubner delve into the complexity of the modern world. The authors of this book
manage to ask questions that, though unlikely, actually shed light on how and why
people do what they do, and the effects of their actions .They also manage to explain
common misconceptions considered on a daily basis, unforeseen similarities between
two unlikely groups, and how these things relate to the bigger picture. In the very
first chapter, What Do Schoolteachers and Sumo Wrestlers Have in Common?, Levitt
and Dubner explain the one thing that fuels cheating people all around the world:
incentive. There are a variety of incentives; however the moral incentive is the most
powerful. When people have an incentive, they are inclined to cheat especially if they
believe that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The actual truth is, any drug dealer that isn t at the top of the food chain is literally
making less than minimum wage, and therefore has no choice but to live with his
/her mother. Majority of these drug dealers are actually working other legitimate
jobs just to survive. Only the very top drug dealers, the ones who have been doing
it for the longest time, actually make a decent amount. So why do those at the
bottom of the drug dealing food chain continue to work in less than appealing
conditions for minimum wage? The possibility of being in the top position, making
large sums of money, and calling the shots is enough of an incentive for dealers to
risk being arrested, being attacked, or being killed. Once again, incentives are
driving people to act in, what they believe to be, their best
Essay on Coach Bowden
Bobby Bowden began his lifelong love for football at an early age. As a young
child he would often climb onto the roof of his house and sit for hours watching the
local high school team run practice drills. Bobby played football while a student at
Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama and again in college, first at the
University of Alabama and then at Howard College (now Samford University).
Bobby s coaching career began in 1954 as an assistant coach at Howard College.
After working as an assistant coach at Howard for two years he was offered a head
coaching position at South Georgia Junior College. Bobby stayed with South
Georgia for two years pulling double duty as head coach of the football team and
athletic director. Bobby ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Florida State only won four games in a three year stretch before Bowden came along
in 76. After taking the reins at Florida State, Bobby immediately got to work
transforming the Seminoles into the team that it is today. Over the years he has
recruited many star athletes to come play football for Florida State including dozens
of All Americans, two Heisman Trophywinners and many star athletes that would
also become stars in the NFL.
The 1977 season brought Bobby his best season record to date finishing the season
at 10 2 and finally beating in state rival Florida after losing to them the previous nine
seasons. The Seminole squad was gaining much needed national exposure as the
media started praising Bobby and his team on their achievements. Bobby Bowden
was named the Bobby Dodd National Coach of the Year in 1980 and in 1983 and was
inducted in the Florida Sports Hall of Fame.
Over the next decade Bobby Bowden would lead his Seminoles to a post season bowl
game every season except 1981. The loss to Oklahoma in the 1981 Orange Bowl
would be Bowden s last loss in a bowl game for the next fifteen years. In 1987 Bobby
coached his Seminoles to what would be the first of a 14 year long streak in which
they won 10 or more games.
Bobby has coached many star athletes during his tenure as head coach including
Florida State s first Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward, Warrick Dunn, arguably
the most popular college football player of the 90s, and Chris Weinke, the
Essay about Breaking Night
Obstacles to Overcome and Mistakes to Forgive It is fascinating when two people
from completely different backgrounds have common characteristics. A world of
poverty is depicted in Liz Murray s book Breaking Night (2010). The memoir tells
the struggles of a young girl s journey from living on the city streets to attending one
of the top schools in the country. Although our lives are quite different, Liz Murray
and I show similar traits through struggle and success. Murray must over come
many struggles in her life. Thanks to her persistence, she makes it to her final goal
and is able to get over these struggles along the way. For example, Murray decides
that she wants to finish high schooland have a great education; however, she has...

The author and I both have a quality that helps us overcome difficult situations and to
push through them while others may give up. I acknowledge that the problems I
face everyday may not be as severe as Murray s; however, the idea is still the same.
Another characteristic the author exhibits is forgiveness. The struggles her parents
cause her display this trait. For instance, Ma constantly neglects Murray as a child.
Drugs and alcohol consume the parent s lives, so Murray and her older sister do
not receive the proper care they need. Also, Ma frequently spent her daughter s
money or sold their items without their consent. The readers are astonished when
the author says many times that she forgives Ma and just moves on. An important
scene in the story occurs when Murray looks back on her childhood and forgives
her mom for all of her wrongs, and concludes her mom did the best that she could
do. Many people would resent their parents after all the hardships they caused, and
so does the author at first. But she finds it in her heart to forgive which shows her
kindness and really displays how mature of a person she is. Although at different
points in our life, Murray and I both have forgiveness. When I was young, my little
brother was assigned to watch my fish while I was at summer camp. After a week
of fun I came home to a sad loss. My brother had neglected the fish and the task at
hand. With no food and no clean water, the fish had died by the
Feminism, Abortion And Contraception
I recently spoke with the doctor who delivered me into this world nearly eighteen
years ago. He s been a friend of the family years, even before I was born. Now
retired, he had delivered newborns for over thirty years. I recently asked him what
the ratio was between older and younger women giving birth these days. He
replied, More older women than you d think... every once in a while, you might
see some poor 16 year old girl having a rough time, but usually 20 to 30 year old
women with an occasional 40 year old having another kid. That was the answer I
was expecting. Between 1970 and 1986 the women in the United States 30 to 39
years of age having their first child doubled, and the number of women 40 to 44
years old having their... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Children were seen as a cause of women being interpreted as secondary citizens,
and that a woman could be her best if she at least chose to have children later in
life. As most feminists at this time were white, educated women, feminists seeking
encouraged women to become educated, go to college, and/or start a career
(Welles Nystrom). A 1982 poll conducted found that 86% of women who gave
birth after 28 years of age, were quoted agreeing they wanted it all, and desired to
become a career woman and a housewife (Poelker and Baldwin). Though a career or
college education may not necessarily be the top priority for all women, today, it
usually comes first as financial stability for anyone is obviously important. Who
wants to take care of a kid in college anyway? School is hard enough. That s a good
two to eight years where a kid is going to get in the way; especially if one doesn t
have any other family for support, and starting a career can also be equally as
difficult. I wouldn t want a kid either if I was a woman seeking a college education
or a career. Having a child later in life gives a woman the option of having a child
when she is ready, not the child. Furthermore, in the early seventies, the Supreme
Court in the case of Roe v Wade made abortion legal. Just twenty five years later, the
total number of abortions totaled nearly 37 million. During those years

Essay On Job Satisfaction.pdf

  • 1. Essay On Job Satisfaction Writing an essay on the topic of job satisfaction presents both challenges and opportunities for exploration. On one hand, the subject is broad and multifaceted, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of various factors influencing individuals' contentment in the workplace. On the other hand, navigating through the vast array of aspects such as work environment, compensation, work-life balance, and interpersonal relationships requires a careful balance to maintain focus and coherence. The difficulty lies in striking the right chord between theoretical frameworks and practical examples. Balancing statistical data on job satisfaction surveys with real-life anecdotes or case studies adds depth to the essay but also demands a meticulous approach to integration. Moreover, the dynamic nature of the workforce and the evolving nature of job satisfaction over time require a constant update of information to ensure relevance. Addressing the diverse perspectives on job satisfaction further complicates the task. Different industries, organizational structures, and cultural contexts can significantly impact individuals' perceptions of satisfaction. Consequently, the essay must acknowledge and consider these variations to provide a nuanced and well-rounded analysis. Crafting a compelling essay on job satisfaction necessitates the synthesis of academic research, professional insights, and personal reflections. Engaging the reader requires not only a clear and logical structure but also a writing style that captivates attention without sacrificing the depth of the content. In conclusion, while the topic of job satisfaction offers an enriching landscape for exploration, the challenges lie in managing the complexities inherent in the subject matter. Achieving a harmonious blend of theory and practical examples, addressing diverse perspectives, and maintaining relevance in the face of a changing work landscape all contribute to the intricacy of writing an essay on job satisfaction. • 2. Basic The Basic Parts The Basic Parts There are just five basic parts in a radio frequency communication system. These are: * Antenna * Amplifier * Filter * Mixer * Source These five parts are then put together to do one of two basic functions: transmit or receive. The name of the resulting device is a radio. The radio also may go by many other names based on marketing considerations or its specific role in the wireless network. A radio is used to send and receive a signal that flows through the air as a series of electromagnetic waves. Radios can take on many different forms. As such, it is not always easy to identify them. When transmitting or receiving, the goal is to produce a perfect sine wave, of the exact... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Antenna Radiation Pattern When selecting an antenna, both the width of the area to be covered and the distance of each link must be considered. These considerations will then determine the type of antenna to use, based on each antenna s signal pattern. Every antenna has a pattern to the signal. This pattern applies both to sending and receiving. By convention, the radiation line used to draw this pattern is placed wherever the power radiating out drops to one half of the power at the antenna surface. For example, for a dipole antenna:| | As opposed to a directional antenna:| | | Note in the diagram above that the radiation pattern does not have an even outline; there is a large main lobe, which is desired, and one or more side lobes, which are undesirable. These side lobes are also called the minor lobes. Antennas also have a front to back ratio that is measured in dBs. The forward gain is the maximum gain at the end of the main lobe of the antenna. The rear gain is measured either at 180 degrees from the main lobe, or from 90 degrees to 270 degrees from the main lobe. Using the wider sector is the better way to measure this distance. These back lobes are also undesirable. A front to back ratio of 10 15 dB is fair, 15 20 dB is good, 20 30 dB is very good, and above 30 dB is excellent. The regions in between the main and minor lobes are areas of weak signals called nulls. All antennas have gain, but this may or may not be real

This summer was probably one the worst times in my life because my dad left my mom. He left us with nothing because my mom was the reason why they were no longer together. I couldn t see my dad anymore or even talk to him. I was left feeling depressed and not wanted. At this point in my life I hated and I did wish I wasn t alive at that time, It was such miserable time in my life were nothing got better it just kept getting worse and worse. I cried myself to sleep every night because I thought everyone hated me and that nobody wanted me. I was stuck babysitting all the time because my mom was out trying to make money. All my grandma did was talk about how horrible my dad was and how she wanted him to die. It just made me mad because it was my mom s fault every part of it was but I couldn t say that because I loved my mom more than anything in this world. I also knew she would flip out on me if i said it was her fault because she knew it was. The thingthat made it ten times worse was that she found someone new and he was the biggest piece of trash ever. My mom is my queen, she is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I couldn t imagine life without her . She just tries so hard to make everyone else happy that sometimes it brings her spirit down. I know she didn t leave my dad to make everyone upset, she just needed a break because five kids and a husband who is always
  • 4. The Salinger s `` The Catcher Of The Rye `` And A... Have you ever read a novel in which a character is talked about often but never appears or appears but for a brief moment? At times you may think nothing of that character, you could assume they add nothing to the context of the novel and are placed to fill up a couple pages, but on the contrary. In some works of literature a characterwho does not appear at all can have a significance presence. In J.D Salinger s novelThe Catcher in the Rye Holden the main character s brother, Allie never appears but is mentioned multiple times. The lack of Allies presence is vital to the key aspects of Salinger s novel. Often this lack of presence from a character is done on purpose. It can be done to signify something, make the novel multi dimensional or to enhance the writing. Ally s absence affects the main character, the theme of the book, and a development of characters. Allie s lack of appearance greatly affects Holden s actions throughout novel. This absence is due to his death at the early age of 11. The major loss of his innocent red headed brother was enough to break Holden at the tender age of 13. When Allie s death occurred the loss of Holden s sanity soon followed. I was only thirteen, and they were going to have me psychoanalyzed and all, because I broke all the windows in the garage. I don t blame them. I really don t. Holden says. When Holden found out Allie died he didn t cry and morn the way I believe his parents and Phoebe did. He morned through

Advantages Of Talk And Chalk Teaching Method PART 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1 Introduction This section will discuss about the teaching strategy employed by the teacher in teaching Accountings to the secondary school students. The Talk and Chalk teaching method will also be discussed. 1.2Background to the Study Rena (2010) informed that the UNESCO commissioned Report 2009 commented that Talk and Chalk teaching method may not be appropriate to prepare students to move into the 21st Century. Gatto (1999) commented that the traditional teaching is inappropriate, teacher centered with no opportunity for students to learn problem solving skills and to experience the real world situation. The result showed that only 25 36 percent of the students in the 9 schools obtained a credit and others are either failures or ordinary pass. It was recommended to use guided discovery in order to teach effectively. Guided learningis the teaching of concept in an orderly manner from general to specific. Cantrell (2004) suggested that there are two different teaching methods to teach financial accounting and they are exposition and inquiry. The exposition method is considered to be the conventional way which involves leader centered, leader active, learner passive and content emphasis. Some of the examples are lecture, traditional demonstration, discussion, panel discussion, guest speaker, storytelling, reading of textbooks, drama and handouts or manuals. While the inquiry method is characterized as leader facilitated, learner centered, leader facilitated, learner active and learning process
  • 6. Explain Briefly The Four Conditions For Evolution By... Evolution: SHE Task Explain briefly the four conditions for evolution by natural selection according to Charles Darwin. 1.Reproduction, organisms must reproduce in order to create a new generation 2.Heredity. The offspring must tend to resemble their parents: roughly speaking, like must produce like . 3.Variation in individual characters among the members of the population. If we are studying natural selection on body size, then different individuals in the population must have different body sizes. 4.Variation in the fitness of organisms according to the state they have for a heritable character. In evolutionary theory, fitness means the average number of offspring left by an individual relative to the number of offspring left by an average member of the population. This condition therefore means that individuals in the population with some characters must be more likely to reproduce (i.e., have higher fitness) than others. If these conditions are met for any property of a species, natural selection automatically results. And if any are not, it does not. Thus entities, like planets that do not reproduce, cannot evolve by natural selection; entities that reproduce but in which parental characters are not inherited by their offspring also cannot evolve by natural selection. But when the four conditions apply, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Sleeping Beauty By Charles Perrault Throughout history the soulful tale of Sleeping Beauty has been told many times, and each time the characters and storyline changes, we learn more about the characters themselves, and why they do what they do. Sleeping beauty although, a childhood favorite is actually a shockingly violent narrative compared to the one we all know and love. It has changed in order to fit social norms for the time and the context has been altered to appeal to the current audiences of that time. In the first edition of Sleeping Beauty written in 1697 by Charles Perrault The sleeping Beauty in the wood , is a tale of rape, adultery and cannibalism. Beauty is seen to be an innocent naГЇve young girl, not much of a change from modern times, however prince charming, is not quite charming but rather violent, not only a kiss occurs, but rape. Charming s character is known to be intoxicatingly sweet, sincere and full of nothing but charm, here he s nothing but a monster, he simply rapes beauty while deep in slumber, conceives two children and it ends with everyone eating each other. ...He left her kissing her children and weeping over them, and went into kill a young doe that the queen mother ate for supper with as much relish as if it had been her daughter in law. We often think that they are all just big balls of gas burning up to billions of light years away. However, that isn t exactly true. The truth is that stars are very diverse. Just like anything else in our Universe, stars fall into many different classifications based on its defining characteristics. In this essay I will discuss several different types of stars. First, I will discuss protostars. A protostar is a very young starthat is gathering gas from a giant molecular cloud. The protostar phase of stellar evolution lasts about 100,000 years . A red giant star becomes a white dwarf star when it runs completely out of hydrogen fuel in its core and it lacks the mass to force higher elements into fusion reaction. The outward light pressure from the fusion reaction stops and the star collapses inward under its own gravity . (www.universetoday.com) A white dwarf was a very hot star once, so therefore it shines. A white dwarf star will cool down until it becomes part of the background temperature of the universe. The process takes hundreds of billions of years. Sixthly, I will discuss red dwarf stars. Red dwarf stars are very common in our universe. They are main sequence stars that that have such low mass that they are much cooler than stars like our sun . (www.phys.com) Red dwarf stars are able to keep the hydrogen fuel mixing into their core. So to their advantage, they can conserve their fuel much longer than other stars. Astronomers estimate that some red dwarf stars will burn up to 10 trillion years. The smallest red dwarfs are 0.075 times the mass of the sun, and they can have a mass of up to half of the sun .

For the sake of my current employer, some of the reasons to why they forecast is to ensure that there are plenty of cellular phones in stock or even to make sure that the company has enough numbers to assign to customers when they purchase wireless service from us. The following paper will compare and contrast various forecasting methods while also elaborating on the method that my current employer use for forecasting sales and mobile identification number (MDN) requirements. Forecasting Assignment Forecasting is the ability to plan ahead for future expectations of what the future may hold. For example, business forecast every year for what they feel that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Casual relationship is a situation in which one event causes another. If the event is far enough in the future, it can be used as a basis for forecasting. A good example of this would be a casual relationship between student enrollment and teachers in a university. If the enrollment of students is higher than normal than it would cause for additional teachers to be hired and vice versa. This is considered a casual relationship since additional teachers would not have been hired if enrollment was not up therefore the high enrollment causes the increased staff. Now that I have defined each of the forecasting methods discussed within this paper, I will now compare them to each other. Of the methods discussed in this paper, Delphi has no comparison to any of the other three methods of forecasting. Delphi forecasting is used in conjunction with experts and hypotheses rather than gathering information from other sources and analyzing them. At the same time, Time series and Casual relationship forecasting has similarities because each is dependent on another aspect. Though Time series focuses on the seasonal aspects of things, casual relationship could very well be dependent on the seasons. For example, the Time series forecasting is big on farmers for planning their crops; however bad weather would cause a casual relationship between the two. This reasoning is due to the fact that the forecast

  • 12. The Consequences And Extinction Of Animals By Climate... The Consequences and the Extinction of Animals By Climate Change The warnings about global warming have been extremely clear for a long time. We are facing a global climate crisis. It is deepening. We are entering a period of consequences (Al Gore). Global warming is a nationwide problem that is affecting people and the environment by the greenhouse gases. Global warming increases the atmospheric temperature. For instance, the solar radiation is reflected by the Earth s atmosphere. Earth s surface absorbs most of the radiation, and it warms it. Part of the invisible light traverses the air. A few are immersed and transmitted in an outright direction by pollutants molecules. The effect of global warming is an increased temperature of the earth s surface and the lower atmosphere. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) which measures long lived greenhouse gases increased 37 percent from 1990 to 2015, and of that, carbon dioxide accounted for 80 percent of the increase (Keating 2). The greenhouse gases are causing that the temperatures rise. Global warming is a huge problem that we face today; it is caused by the greenhouse effect that leads to climate change and the extinction of many animals. Global warming is increasing the temperatures in our planet Earth leading to climate change. The primary reason for global warming is the human development of the greenhouse effect causing natural disasters. Shaftel declares that Global climate

Is it that Dream of making it big in America, where people hear the successes stories from rags to riches or does it go beyond things like money, expensive cars and houses. The American dream itself has no set definition to its meaning, people can only assign what they think is the right term for it. For this paper and research on the American DreamThe definition that I came up with is that the achievement of the American Dream does not come from possessions but more so from each person personal achievement of happiness while not interfering with others achievement of happiness. While this definition of the American dream is broad it is already not achievable.

The idea that the school is going to be able to have at least 75% of those students show or give interest towards a certain sport or a certain inter mural game, is very hard to actually accomplish. The idea that also, the underrepresented gender must have the ability to play the game is also very difficult to judge. I guess if a team can not win a game all season but has double the amount of interest than spots available on the team, maybe that would or would not require equal funding. I think this prong test of compliance needs to be re evaluated. Another issue that I think needs to be taken into effect is football. There is no sport or club, male or female, that can equal the same amount of funding needed for a football team and even created by a football team. Some smaller division 2 and 3 schools will even have a JV and Freshman football team along with their traveling varsity program. The amount of money that division 1 football programs bring in for the school is amazing. Just the amount of men that it takes to fill up a football roster will keep prong 2 alive. As long as there is a big football program, women will need to have continual expansion of sports, or the teams already in place, which will in turn, have the loss of smaller, not as popular, men s sports being dropped. She said to determine if the county needed this facility she looked at how students were receiving health care, if they had insurance and where in the county would benefit the most from having this facility. From the results of her study she said Burnett Elementary and Eastside Elementary were the locations that would benefit the most from the health care facility. A news release from the school system said the purpose of the full range health center is to help students avoid health related absences. The health center will be open during school hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30

Along with the contrast in branches, the two democratic schemes further diversify as the leaders of presidential and parliamentary systems lose their power differently. In a presidential system, there is a fixed term limit that dictates how long the president can reside in power: the terms of office of both president and assembly are fixed. (Shugart and Mainwaring, pg.14). A fixed terms causes the president to be in office with a much lesser danger of losing power, with his or her only danger being impeachment which has been extremely rare in North American presidential systems as only two presidents in the history of the United States have been impeached, Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1999. Also, this leads to presidency having scheduled elections as the president s time is limited. Conversely, in parliamentary, there is no fix term and an election is called on the advice of the prime minister, thus, the prime minister does not lose his or her place in office due to a time limit. However, the prime minister has a much greater chance of losing his or her position of power due to the need to be supported by the majority in legislature: The chief executive power must be supported by a majority in the legislature and can

This difference between the sisters shows the division in the 1960 s between a traditionalist and modernist lifestyle through her characters Maggie and Dee. This appreciation also leads to Dee changing not only her lifestyle, but several other things such as her apparel and name; which is described as stereotypically African. However, Dee s new found appreciation does seem, like Hakims, to be more of a fad. In Diane Ross s article, Everyday Use, she states, To Dee, artifacts such as the benches or the quilts are strictly aesthetic objects. It never occurs to her that they, too, are symbols of oppression: Her family made these things because they could not afford to buy them (Ross ). This shows, unlike her sister Maggie, Dee s perception of the quilts are strictly aesthetic and artistic pieces that reflect African Heritage. Dee never considers they may represent oppression themselves and it makes her seem as though she wants them solely just to show off. In addition, Ross goes on to state, Her admiration for them now seems to reflect a cultural trend toward valuing handmade objects, rather than any sincere interest in her heritage. After all, when she was offered a quilt before she went away to college, she rejected it as old fashioned, out of style (Ross ). This shows that Dee s change to a modernist lifestyle was influenced through a cultural trend. This also alludes to when Dee rejected a quilt before she went to college, but now that she has discovered the cultural trend of college, she wants one.

An example of tolerance at its finest in this period is the royal family of Tang, surnamed Li, was of non Han Chinese origin. One benefit of the Tang being tolerant is a better war defense for protection from rivals. On the other hand, some rulers still weren t fully reliable to this idea. They still had some segregation for people that are full blooded chinese. LGBT representation matters because people live vicariously through their role model, it influences how people come out, it helps people self realize and the main reason why this topic is so important is because of how drastically underrepresented they are. Two proposed social changes are for there to be more LGBT characters on television shows and for there to be more positive LGBT role models. LGBT representation matters because people tend to live vicariously through their role model (Gomillion Giuliano, 2011). This happens because of similarity identification. Similarity identification happens when an individual idolizes someone and wants to live vicariously through the actions of the role model (Gomillion Giuliano, 2011). This can be both beneficial and harmful. It can be beneficial because the individual feels represented in a positive way. However, it can also be harmful because of traumatic content displayed in the media. It can be harmful because of the Bury Your Gays trope. This motivated and pushed Prussia to fight for land and spread Protestantism. In acquiring absolutism, Prussia s spread of religion and claiming of land would not only get rid of their rival, but also improve the chances at attaining absolutism. Because the Reformation of Protestant religion, the Hohenzollerns were all for the spreading of land and religion. The spreading of religion would drastically make a big change in absolutism because the population and supporters of the country would significantly go up. This would come with perks such as many more military soldiers which would form a stronger, better army. This army would be unstoppable as it was a strong during Frederick I was in charge, it got stronger when Frederick II took power, and now it would top the amount of power and strength it already had over the other countries. The motivation, strength, and confidence that Protestantism gave the Hohenzollerns and its followers was enough to give Prussia that edge and power which led to the successful absolute
  • 43. JupiterВґs Europa Moon Europa is the sixth of Jupiter s moons and the fourth largest. Europa is named after a Phoenician princess who was abducted by Zeus and taken to the island of Crete to be his lover. Europa was discovered by Galileo Galilei and possibly Simon Marius in 1610 and is one of the four Galilean satellites. The others being: Io, Ganymede, and Callisto. Europais very different from the other moons of Jupiter. Instead of a rocky, cratered surface like Callisto and Ganymede, it instead has a smooth outer surface of cracked ice. There are very few sign of craters on Europa. In fact, only three large craters have been found. This indicates that Europa s surface is very young and active. In photographs sent back by orbiters, the surface resembles sea ice on Earth. Astronomers believe that beneath this layer of ice may exist an ocean, kept liquid by the moon s internal heat. This liquid ocean could be as much as 30 miles deep. The existence of deep ocean vents on the ocean floor on Earth have led some scientists to speculate that there could be a possibility of life on Europa. Around these deep sea vents on Earth are life forms that do not need sunlight to survive. They instead feed on bacteria that get their nutrients from chemicals seeping up from the ocean floor. This process is known as chemosynthesis. Scientists believe that similar life forms could evolve on Europa if a liquid ocean does indeed exist beneath its frozen surface. The most apparent features on Europa are a series

Dubner is an enlightening novel that shows people how the world actually works. Throughout the six chapters of this book, Levitt and Dubner delve into the complexity of the modern world. The authors of this book manage to ask questions that, though unlikely, actually shed light on how and why people do what they do, and the effects of their actions .They also manage to explain common misconceptions considered on a daily basis, unforeseen similarities between two unlikely groups, and how these things relate to the bigger picture. In the very first chapter, What Do Schoolteachers and Sumo Wrestlers Have in Common?, Levitt and Dubner explain the one thing that fuels cheating people all around the world: incentive. There are a variety of incentives; however the moral incentive is the most powerful. When people have an incentive, they are inclined to cheat especially if they believe that... The actual truth is, any drug dealer that isn t at the top of the food chain is literally making less than minimum wage, and therefore has no choice but to live with his /her mother. Majority of these drug dealers are actually working other legitimate jobs just to survive. Only the very top drug dealers, the ones who have been doing it for the longest time, actually make a decent amount. So why do those at the bottom of the drug dealing food chain continue to work in less than appealing conditions for minimum wage? The possibility of being in the top position, making large sums of money, and calling the shots is enough of an incentive for dealers to risk being arrested, being attacked, or being killed. Once again, incentives are driving people to act in, what they believe to be, their best
  • 47. Essay on Coach Bowden Bobby Bowden began his lifelong love for football at an early age. As a young child he would often climb onto the roof of his house and sit for hours watching the local high school team run practice drills. Bobby played football while a student at Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama and again in college, first at the University of Alabama and then at Howard College (now Samford University). Bobby s coaching career began in 1954 as an assistant coach at Howard College. After working as an assistant coach at Howard for two years he was offered a head coaching position at South Georgia Junior College. Bobby stayed with South Georgia for two years pulling double duty as head coach of the football team and athletic director. Bobby ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Florida State only won four games in a three year stretch before Bowden came along in 76. After taking the reins at Florida State, Bobby immediately got to work transforming the Seminoles into the team that it is today. Over the years he has recruited many star athletes to come play football for Florida State including dozens of All Americans, two Heisman Trophywinners and many star athletes that would also become stars in the NFL. The 1977 season brought Bobby his best season record to date finishing the season at 10 2 and finally beating in state rival Florida after losing to them the previous nine seasons. The Seminole squad was gaining much needed national exposure as the media started praising Bobby and his team on their achievements. Bobby Bowden was named the Bobby Dodd National Coach of the Year in 1980 and in 1983 and was inducted in the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. Over the next decade Bobby Bowden would lead his Seminoles to a post season bowl game every season except 1981. The loss to Oklahoma in the 1981 Orange Bowl would be Bowden s last loss in a bowl game for the next fifteen years. In 1987 Bobby coached his Seminoles to what would be the first of a 14 year long streak in which they won 10 or more games. Bobby has coached many star athletes during his tenure as head coach including Florida State s first Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward, Warrick Dunn, arguably the most popular college football player of the 90s, and Chris Weinke, the

A world of poverty is depicted in Liz Murray s book Breaking Night (2010). The memoir tells the struggles of a young girl s journey from living on the city streets to attending one of the top schools in the country. Although our lives are quite different, Liz Murray and I show similar traits through struggle and success. Murray must over come many struggles in her life. Thanks to her persistence, she makes it to her final goal and is able to get over these struggles along the way. For example, Murray decides that she wants to finish high schooland have a great education; however, she has... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The author and I both have a quality that helps us overcome difficult situations and to push through them while others may give up. I acknowledge that the problems I face everyday may not be as severe as Murray s; however, the idea is still the same. Another characteristic the author exhibits is forgiveness. The struggles her parents cause her display this trait. For instance, Ma constantly neglects Murray as a child. Drugs and alcohol consume the parent s lives, so Murray and her older sister do not receive the proper care they need. Also, Ma frequently spent her daughter s money or sold their items without their consent. The readers are astonished when the author says many times that she forgives Ma and just moves on. An important scene in the story occurs when Murray looks back on her childhood and forgives her mom for all of her wrongs, and concludes her mom did the best that she could do. Many people would resent their parents after all the hardships they caused, and so does the author at first. But she finds it in her heart to forgive which shows her kindness and really displays how mature of a person she is. Although at different points in our life, Murray and I both have forgiveness. When I was young, my little brother was assigned to watch my fish while I was at summer camp. After a week of fun I came home to a sad loss. My brother had neglected the fish and the task at hand. With no food and no clean water, the fish had died by the
  • 49. Feminism, Abortion And Contraception I recently spoke with the doctor who delivered me into this world nearly eighteen years ago. He s been a friend of the family years, even before I was born. Now retired, he had delivered newborns for over thirty years. I recently asked him what the ratio was between older and younger women giving birth these days. He replied, More older women than you d think... every once in a while, you might see some poor 16 year old girl having a rough time, but usually 20 to 30 year old women with an occasional 40 year old having another kid. That was the answer I was expecting. Between 1970 and 1986 the women in the United States 30 to 39 years of age having their first child doubled, and the number of women 40 to 44 years old having their... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Children were seen as a cause of women being interpreted as secondary citizens, and that a woman could be her best if she at least chose to have children later in life. As most feminists at this time were white, educated women, feminists seeking encouraged women to become educated, go to college, and/or start a career (Welles Nystrom). A 1982 poll conducted found that 86% of women who gave birth after 28 years of age, were quoted agreeing they wanted it all, and desired to become a career woman and a housewife (Poelker and Baldwin). Though a career or college education may not necessarily be the top priority for all women, today, it usually comes first as financial stability for anyone is obviously important. Who wants to take care of a kid in college anyway? School is hard enough. That s a good two to eight years where a kid is going to get in the way; especially if one doesn t have any other family for support, and starting a career can also be equally as difficult. I wouldn t want a kid either if I was a woman seeking a college education or a career. Having a child later in life gives a woman the option of having a child when she is ready, not the child. Furthermore, in the early seventies, the Supreme Court in the case of Roe v Wade made abortion legal. Just twenty five years later, the total number of abortions totaled nearly 37 million. During those years
