of homeless pregnant women revolve greatly around prenatal health, nutrition, mental
health, substance abuse and physical abuse screenings.
A very important issue with homeless pregnant women is lack of access to medical
care, and lack of support overall. Pregnancy rates of homeless women are upwards of
22%, and 75% of those pregnant and impoverished women reported having

University (Rand, 2011). Low income, impoverished, and completely homeless

address this specific research question: What benefits can students gain by engaging
in an outdoor classroom environment? I will discuss the effects on students while

Though being athletic and masculine have been a man s physical description,
women have fought to prove those gender stereotypes wrong. Women have been
defeating the odds of athleticism and masculinity that men realized, but wanted to
hide and not appreciate their work. Through time men and women have made an
effort to come together to bring attention to the downgrading of women in sports
to earn acknowledgement and respect. With this, history has described men and
women s sports as not equal but as history continues, women defeat the odds yet
again. Women participating in athletic activities and sports date back millennia.
Stories of women playing ball dates back to 800 BC in Homer s works of The
Iliad. Until the 1870 s, women never had the luxury of sports classified for women
specifically. Multitasking was a high concern. People thought that each person had a
set amount of energy and multitasking would deplete this energy rapidly that could
cause harm to that individual. Women were highly encouraged to limit their activity
so they would not fatigue their selves so quickly to avoid harm to their body.

suffering from loneliness. Doris and Irene both live alone. They don t seem to have

like this are quite amusing to see such an intelligent women making a fuss. Irene
and Doris also have some things in common. They both have lost loved ones in

are feeling. When there is a scene where Doris or Irene is happy, the music will go
along with the expressions. I could tell when the topic came up on the loved lost

Brunswick Maine with her family, the United States Congress had just passed the
Fugitive Slave Law. Shortly after, she had planned to write a protest of slavery

concept behind Kezia : the literal meaning of it and the deeper meaning behind it.
The simple explanation is that you have three characters on who all describe a

The European Union (EU) was founded on the principles of liberty, democracy,
respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law .
Democracy can be interpreted in different ways, for it means the power of the
people where the public decide who they want as they leader by a majority vote
system who represents the views of the people. Lisbon Treaty gave these rights the
force of law therefore these rights are not to be violated by member states and must
maintain a healthy baseline of democracy. Many academics have argued that the
EU is suffering from a democratic deficit due to the Euopean not having enough
power and for other reasons which will be discussed. I will discuss the observation
of Joseph Weilers standard version of the democratic deficit and analyze the
strengths and weaknesses of his argument. This essay will examine the reasons
why many academics and authors believe there is a democratic deficit. Further
discussions will point to renowned intellectuals who reject the idea of democratic
deficit , such as Professor Andrew Moravcsik and Proffesor Giandomencio Majone
who both refute the idea that the EU lacks democratic accountability for different
reason which will be discussed in detail. My conclusion will include my belief that
the EU does suffer from a democratic deficit and this will be supported by the

This telescope has done amazing things for astronomers. It has introduced new
planets, stars, and many unknown things. The Hubble Telescope has made amazing

This report will analyse the Otago Youth Wellness Trust by using the External
Organisation Environment Model. The Otago Youth Wellness Trust is a non profit
and non governmental organisation (NGO) that was established in 1995 due to a
concern of truancy and youth offending that the Police and wider community held.
The Otago YouthWellness Trust is a free community based service for youngpeople
aged 11 18 years with multiple and complex need and who are least likely to access
mainstream services for support. (OYWT TODAY). These young people will work
with a single case worker in order to have access to a range of quality services to
meet their physical, emotional and social needs, which, in the provision of integrated
delivery will enhance their well being, break barriers to opportunities and ensure a
