Each depiction of Eros has its similarities and differences from what tradition says Eros looked
like. But by addressing each depiction in turn I hope to prove that Cupid is most important in the
twentieth and twenty first centuries. To begin this discussion I will look at the image titled the
Abduction of Psyche. Next will be the depiction of Eros in the television series Charmed. After that

will live with her. Eros is a winged man who is almost nude and Psyche is a woman with moth
wings. Psyche seems to be at peace in the arms of Eros.
In this image Eros is a strong young man who seems to have a purpose. It seems logical for a man
to be used to depict this mythological scene because it is not very logical for a baby to be carrying

In Anthony Burgess s novel A Clockwork Orange, he depicts a dystopian future by uses elements
of literature that almost let reader see what is happening, but the film can take it further. Stanley

The involvement of these channels in numerous pathological conditions makes them relevant target
for pharmaceutical intervention. Therefore, modulation of sodium conductance via small molecule
binding constitutes a promising strategy to treat a large variety of diseases. However, this approach
entails significant challenges: voltage gated sodium channels are complex nanomachines and the
details of their workings have only recently started to become clear. Here we review В¬В¬ with
emphasis on the computational studies some of the major milestones in the long standing search of
a quantitative microscopic description of the molecular mechanism and modulation of voltage
gated sodium channels.

I compared the text from the New Interpreter s Study Bible to an interpretation from the Message
Bible. While there were several differences in the wording and vocabulary used, for the most part
this did not affect how a reader might interpret the reading. However, the ending verse of the NIB
version states One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.
While the Message interpretation states I didn t find one man or woman in a thousand worth my
while. This difference points out how the culture and time period in which the translation was
made or written influences the interpretation. Both before and after this passage follow the
general idea of the entire book, a teacher preaching about his wisdom from his point of view. I
believe that the reading does not need any context from the previous readings in the book to
understand, but having an understanding of the author s logic and way of thinking does help to
better reflect on the passage. A major theme from the author himself that caught my eye was the
author s realistic, some might even say pessimistic, view on his interpretation of life. The author
states that the reality of life is that no one on Earth can do good and not sin during their life. Also,

publishing process that writers may experience in their writing careers. Through a unique
perspective, Bradstreet introduces the narrator of the poem as a writer with a deformed piece of

the public eye. Though the use of an extended metaphor, Bradstreet in The Author to Her Book

Just a few weeks ago, if you were to turn on the TV, you d be bombarded with political advertising
campaigns. During the height of a midterm election season, campaign ads are just one
