So that both longevity and quality of life are best but in our daily lives we have to boost one over
another. Longevity with reduced quality of life is meaningless to me. I would prefer quality of life
rather than longevity. For example, suppose I am going to a long drive on a highway, at the same time
I crushed my car with another car. Few hours later I found myself in an intensive care unit after the
horrible accident. After one month I found myself in a wheelchair, and can t communicate, can t do
anything, having serious pain in my body, needs help for moving anywhere. Does this type of lives
meaningful to me? Is this my quality of life? My answer is absolutely no . It indicates my quantity of
