This document outlines a 3S-IT framework for application management consisting of Stock IT, Stabilize IT, and Strengthen IT. Stock IT involves collecting historical monitoring and performance data to establish a baseline. Stabilize IT analyzes this data to identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Strengthen IT then enhances monitoring through proactive analysis, troubleshooting, and proof of concepts to improve availability and performance at lower cost. The goal is to save time and resources through simplified, consolidated monitoring that proactively identifies unknown risks.

 If you can’t monitor it , you can’t manage it .The fundamental building
blocks of an effective performance , availability monitoring strategy can be
put in 3 words – Stock IT , Stabilize IT , Strengthen IT. The 3S-IT framework
starts with data collection , alerting , reporting and goes all the way to
analysis and enhancement of it.

 Stock IT – The purpose of Stock-IT is to collect the existing historical data on
various factors that define the monitoring in place. Collection of all time series
monitoring data , high frequency polling data , raw data retention in massive scale
take place as part of Stock IT phase . It’s a phase meant for base lining the existing
systems will be done
 Stabilize IT - We enable strategic ITSM initiatives involving tools consolidation
through our assessment services and Gap Analysis that benchmarks existing
processes against industry best practices.
 Strengthen IT – It’s critical that organization IT teams have access to
comprehensive and insightful analytical solutions for monitoring distributed
infrastructure. Shifting to proactive analysis and troubleshooting would yield high
availability at less cost.
