Shipping Management Expert System (SES) ERP is a specialized ERP system designed for ship management and shipping companies. It consists of several modules including technical operations, human resources, purchasing, chartering, and financials. The financial module is globally acknowledged and can produce a large number of accounting reports, analyze expenses like running expenses, and provide cash flow and profit/loss statements. Our group is consist of Three persons
Afzal Hussain
He is working on actual system, which is presented in this presentation.
He is working in PNSC and Shipping Expert System (SES) is installed
in PNSC
Zeeshan Umar
He have done internship in this system, currently working in Telenor
Pakistan, he has broad knowledge about implementing ERP systems.
Kamal Panhwar
I have worked on different database application in Travel and
Pharmaceutical Sector. Accounting system is my favorite so I selected
Financial part of this ERP. During my MBA in MIS I studied Financial
Accounting and Financial Management recently.

Definition
It is a company-wide computer software system used to manage and
coordinate all the resources, information and functions of business from
shared data stores.

Which support the basic internal business processes of a company
Today the most ERP software provide Business Intelligence feature for
leveraging ERP database into Decision Support System, because decision
makes need to analyze company’s performance to prepare appropriate
actions.
It usually more based on advance central database, created which can cater
all other module and focus on sharing of database.

SES ERP is major software of SES. It is designed to cover all functions and

SES although seem very simple software with old interface, but it
is actually built by using very detail study of process and work
flow of Marine Industry.
It provide detail real time information of expenses on vessel,
spare part, and repairing/maintenance issues.
Financial system is also very good and has huge number of
automatic reports.
It is very mature and famous system in industry to manage marine
business.
Company focus on only Marin industry, so their expertise in this
field have brought up this excellent solution.
