Objectives of EDP
 Training is importing instructions in a
systematic way to bridge the skill gap.
 It enables entrepreneurs to develop skills in
identifying suitable items for manufacture
or other self employments ventures.
 It ensures that entrepreneurs develop their
enterprises well by application of scientific
managerial techniques/principles in various
fields of management.
 This managerial development program is
called Entrepreneurial Development
Program (EDP).
 It should be highly participatory.
 It should be goal oriented.
 It should be challenging & futuristic.
 It should reduce fatigue & increase speed of
work.
 It should be concerned with max. utilization
of local resources.
 It should be concerned with increase in
efficiency.
 EDP  program & efforts attempt for further
advancements of entrepreneurs by making
changes in the tendency of people to
establish new enterprises.
 Thus EDP means such attempts by which :
1. People get motivated to follow the path of
entrepreneurship.
2. Internal capability of the persons gets developed.
3. Among persons ,the desire for self employment
gets created.
