Megan Ivankovich presented on enhancing nutrition and food security during the first 1,000 days through gender-sensitive social and behavior change approaches. She outlined the development of a Technical Resource Guide and Brief to build capacity for gender-sensitive social and behavior change programming in nutrition and food security projects. The presentation covered key concepts like defining gender-sensitive SBC, the importance of addressing gender in these areas, and critical actions and best practices for program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and gender mainstreaming.
