Lindsay Wynett observed adaptive art classes at Lake Windward Elementary School on October 10, 2011 for 8 hours. She observed different student projects and how the students used motor skills. On November 22, 2011 she observed high school adaptive art classes at Alpharetta High School for 7 hours and had thanksgiving lunch with the students. On February 18, 2012 Mrs. Murphy observed Lindsay's art show for special needs students for 1 hour.

At Lake Windward Elementary School
I sat in and observed Mrs. Murphy’s
various adaptive art classes on the
elementary level and was hands on in
helping the students.
Commentary:
Here I observed all the different
projects and saw how the children used
their motor skills to conduct the
projects, and what all they could and
couldn’t do. And I learned how to
conduct a class based on their ability
and also what to do to calm the children
down.

During Thanksgiving break on Tuesday
I went to Alpharetta High School to
observe Mrs. Murphy’s high school
adaptive art classes. And sat in on to
have a thanksgiving lunch with the
students.
Commentary:
Here I learned how different the high
school students were compared to the
elementary. I got to interact with the
students more, and Here I got a concept
of what projects the students at my
school could do and be in the art show.
