3. "Perfect" is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran from his third studio
album, ÷ (2017)
After the album's release it charted at number four on the UK Singles Chart. On 21
August 2017, Billboard announced that "Perfect" would be the fourth single from
the album.
The song was serviced to pop radio on 26 September 2017, as the third single from
the album in the United States (fourth overall).
The song eventually reached number one on the UK Singles Chart and the US
Billboard Hot 100 in December 2017. "Perfect" became the UK Christmas number-
one song for 2017, and also peaked at number one in sixteen other countries,
including Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand.
4. The video starts with a non-diegetic sound of train which afterwards turns into diegetic
sound which shows a relation between the sound effects and the video. Then there’s a shot of
Ed looking at an old photograph of him and a girl. And then
the lyrics starts as soon as he enters the café where the
same girl is sitting and starts with the lyrics ‘I found a girl’
which shows the connection between the lyrics and the
video.
Then both of them along with two more friends of
them goes out on a road trip and while sitting in the
car Ed’s driving and keeps looking back at the girl
along with the lyrics ‘Cause we were just kids when we fell in love’ which shows
that he’s in love with her since the childhood and is still in love with her and we can
assume that by his way of looking at her.
The music video then has different shots of them in a
mountainous area, doing different activities which
does not interlink with the lyrics however, Ed stays
around the girl which keeps the lyrics interlinked
with the video.
5. They have shown different scenes of them doing things together but none of them represent the
lyrics at background. The lyrics are expressing the love the guy has for the girl and how perfect
she is for him and he has found the perfect girl to carry his children to spend rest of his life
with however in the video they are just doing different activities from 1:05- 2:25.
6. However, they made a link between the song and the video as in the video he writes
on a pizza box that he has written a song for the girl and then lip-syncs the song
with lyrics which shows that he has been singing the song for her and had written
the song for her.
Basically they are trying to show that he have been in love with her since childhood
and wrote song for her about their future and how perfect she is and now after
meeting her he’s expressing his love through the song and singing it for her.
7. In 3:45 the lyrics says “Baby, I'm dancing in the dark, with you between my arms”
while both of them dance in the dark according to the lyrics.
Towards the end, we can see that they are together now from the guy being in love
since childhood to them getting together.

9. "Happier" is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It was included on
his third studio album, ÷ (2017). After the album's release, it charted at number 6
on the UK Singles Chart. It was released in Italy on 27 April 2018 as the fifth single
from the album.
The song was written by Sheeran with Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco. According
to Sheeran, the theme of the song is about looking back at an early relationship
and, despite being initially angry and bitter at the breakup, later coming to realise
that his first love was happier with someone else. He said: "I remember the first girl
I was with, that the first and most of the second album was about, that I was with
from school. And I remember the guy she was with, meeting him one day and being
like, he is so much suited to her than I ever was. Seeing them together, we never
looked like that, we were never that couple, we were never that happy. So it was
having a kind of epiphany moment, and writing a song that was basically that."
10. Videos main characters are puppets. The video starts with a long shot of a male
puppet standing next to a trash can. And then as the lyrics starts ‘Walking down
29th and Park’, the puppet starts walking. The video is according to exact lyrics.
And then they show a flash back of the same girl with him which shows that he was
with that once and now she’s gone, he is alone. As the singer/song writer mentioned
that he still remembers the first girl he was with so we can assume that this song
might be about him and his first girlfriend and might be based on true events.
11. ‘Ain't nobody hurt you like I hurt you
But ain't nobody love you like I do
Promise that I will not take it
personal, baby
If you're moving on with someone
new
'Cause baby you look happier, you do’
The lyrics along with the video shos
how much he is regretting hurting
the girl. And he know he has made
mistake. And the girl is now happier
than she was with him. But he also
thinks that no body else can love her
like he do.
12. The video shows that the guy is trying to get
over the girl through drinking and smoking
and looking at her pictures while laying down
on bed.
“My friends told me one day I'll feel it too
And until then I'll smile to hide the truth
But I know I was happier with you”
The lyrics shows that he is trying to get over
her but he still thinks that he was happier
with her.
13. According to the video and
the lyrics as well,
everything around him is
reminding him of that girl.
He knows that he hurt her
but still he needs her
however he thinks that she
is happier with the guy she
is now and he was happier
with her.
14. He is trying to forget her but nothing is
helping.
‘Baby, you look happier, you do
I knew one day you'd fall for someone new
But if breaks your heart like lovers do
Just know that I'll be waiting here for you’
