2. Two Door Cinema Club –Something
Good CanWork
■ Narrative:
■ About a teenage boy.
■ The video begins with the boy going about his day, alarm goes off, eats breakfast, goes to work,
comes home, tv, bed. There is a filter over the shots making it all dark and boring colors.
■ This day is repeated a couple of times, showing his mundane, boring life. He tries to make it better
with random acts, but it doesnt work.
■ On his way to work, the boy has to take a detour down a side road, and sees a door with his name on.
He debates going in, checking the time etc, but eventually does. He goes in and sees a party, with the
band performing the song.
■ The colors change as he goes in, all becomes much brighter and lively.
■ Throughout the narrative the band will be playing and performing, until the narrative and
performance meet in the room.
■ The boy leaves the room towards the end. As he leaves, he sees the time is the same as it was when
he entered, and he smiles. The scene is now as colourful as it was in the room as he continues his walk
to work
3. Two Door Cinema Club –Something
Good CanWork
■ Target audience-This video will appeal to a younger audience, due to the genre of the
music and the themes throughout.
■ I chose this narrative as I believe its light-hearted approach towards the end fits in with
the song, and the target audience of the song will relate to the narrative.
■ USP:The change in color, the band will be in smart casual wear.
4. Digipak
■ Front cover will have the artists name in bold print with the album name underneath
it. Behind it will be a shot of the band with their instruments.
■ Disk will have a shot of an alley way, like in the video.
■ Inside cover will be a city scene
■ Back will contain the song list and legal information etc
5. Poster
■ The band with their instruments (same as the digipack cover)With the album and
band name on the bottom in bold.

6. Raleigh Ritchie- StrongerThan Ever
■ About a male teenager trying to get over a relationship
■ When he goes to do everyday things he would’ve done in his relationship, he realises she is no longer
there
■ This will involve him going to sit down to watch a film and put his arm around her but she's not there
and making dinner but he's set up dinner for two.
■ Looks at a photo and he will be hugging nothing (in the photo)
■ This triggers him to start taking anti depression pills but the more he sees thing around the house the
more pills he takes this therefore causes him to take to many and he ODs
■ After we see the character OD, we hear a knock at his door .We cut to outside and see the girl stood
there knocking. When he doesn’t answer, she slips a note under the door saying ‘Im sorry’.
■ This will be a performance narrative and the singer will be the same person within the narrative he
will be sitting on the sofa he will also be walking down the street singing
7. Raleigh Ritchie- StrongerThan Ever
■ TargetAudience- Appeals to a mass audience age of audience is teenager/young adult
■ I chose this narrative and people of this age can mostly relate to young relations and
many young people in one point in their life have felt depressed
■ USP: leather jacket, black jeans and hair
8. Digipak
■ Front will be Raleigh Ritchie in bold with him sitting on the sofa in behind the text
■ Disk will have half of him sitting there with his hands on his head
■ Inside cover, close up of the pills he was taking in the (the bottle tipped over with pills
fallen out and his body blurred in the background)
■ Back, song list on the right with singer standing on the left side highlighting his leather
jacket
9. Poster
■ Him sitting on his sofa looking to the empty seat on his right
■ Release date info and other artist featuring below his feet
■ Name of artist in bold above him
10. Luke Christopher - LotTo Learn
■ The main character has a rough day, which the audience can relate, since everyone has a bad day once in
awhile.
■ * Quick paced video + some slow-motion clips through out the video. Use of blurred background in the
shots.
■ Opening scenes starts off by the person getting ready to go to school. Picking up clothes dressing up etc.
■ Walks out of his house to go to school and shows him walking on the street alone.
■ Misses his bus to go to school, gets there late. When he gets to school show a scene of him walking in the
empty hall way entering into his class.
■ In the lesson he gets called out by the teacher and people around him laughs at him for not being able to
answer the question properly.
■ After the scene. Establishing shots of football cage. He plays football with his mates and ends up arguing
with them. Gets angry, takes his bag and goes home.
■ Comes home to find out that his parents found liquor & cigarettes in his room. Gets even more angry and
sad, rushes up to his room. Unpacks his belongings.
■ Ending: The character tries to forget about everything by turning off the light and falling a sleep. But he
instantly wakes up realizing it was all just a dream.
11. Luke Christopher - LotTo Learn
■ Performance/Narrative video
■ Genre: Hip hop
■ The reason I chose this music video concept is because the artist is pretty young, his
main target audience is aged between 15 years old to late 20s and through
narrative/performance storyline the audiences will feel more relatable and engaged to
the song.
■ This video will promote the artist and the song by matching the lyrics with the clips we
are going to film.Which I believe it will have stronger influence on the audience as
they will be able to relate more closely.
12. Digipak
■ For the digipak; my idea would be to include the close up shot of the main character’s
face, showing his emotions. Also, my idea would be to include shots of him walking on
the empty hall way and a picture of him packing up and there’s his friends playing in
the background.
13. Poster
■ For the poster, my idea would be to have the character wearing and grabbing the
backpack whilst standing up, which I can then annotate around.
14. Khalid- Another Sad Love Song
USP:
■ Retro style and look
■ Keyboard
■ Tense and trying very hard.
■ Narrative suits this song as it’s a meaningful and has a message to put across that
wouldn’t be as effectively shown if it was just Performance.
■ However having a element of performance will help promote the artist in a way that
he is trying to deliver important message to his audience through his music and
himself, furthermore having the artist in the video will prove easier when creating the
poster and digipak as we can make it more relatable and memorable.
15. Khalid- Another Sad Love Song
■ Slow and long shots showing the scenery and setting of the local area as the intro to the song.
■ A disorganised narrative starting off with the lead singer walking through the streets at night after a
big argument with his girlfriend over the rent and how he needs a real job.
■ Cutting back to him busking in the streets trying to earn money and make a career out of what he
loves.
■ Then once more cutting back to the lead singer with a eviction notice in his hand after returning to
the apartment.Once he enters the apartment he will see the note left by his girlfriend saying
goodbye.
■ The artist then gets angry and lashes out in the apartment pushing stuff over and then finally sits
down and looks at his keyboard.
■ He puts a shirt and tie on and looks at himself in the mirror and walks out the apartment left on the
last shot of the keyboard in the case.
16. Ancillaries
■ The digipak will feature the artist in the area of the music video in the style in which
we have filmed the video. Using the Apartment, the street corner he was singing on,
the guitar etc.
■ Furthermore we can use the artists USP in the digipak to promote the artist and song
as it will make the links between the video and the digipak.
