how they both feel about
each other, almost as if it is
a battle sing off but with
emotions.

3. A low angle close up shot to
show loneliness, the fact that
some of the scenes were taken
outside also refers back to the
lyrics where it says ‘tell me how
you gone breathe without me’.

refers back to the lyrics ‘if
you ain’t here I just cant
breathe, the shot taken
shows that he cant breathe
without his lover, the mise en
scene was used effectively.

4. A long shot was used to fit in with
the lyrics showing his all by him
self looking confused. A long shot
is usually used to show the
surroundings of here the person is
at, and here it shows he is cold
and its getting hard for him to
breathe, which reflects back to
the original music video.
A mid shot of his shoes has
been used to go back to the
lyrics ‘right of the ground to
float to you’ the mise en
scene was used
appropriately at the right
time with the song to
connote what the song is
trying to point across.

5. A mid shot of Chris where it
looks like his floating, this
reflects back on to the lyrics
‘there's no gravity to hold
me down for real’ the
actions used in the music
video speak for the lyrics
said.
A long shot used here were
it suggests that she is still
alive inside but without
love, this connotes her
sadness and how she is
feeling, living in a world by
her self, with no
companion by her side.

6. A close up shot has been
used, this is usually used
to show how the person
is feeling through
expressions and body
language, here the
audience can clearly see
her in distress.
A long shot has been used,
also as previously mentioned a
long shot is used to show the
surroundings, here they have
finally met towards the end of
the music video, with a series
of different shots, the picture
of Chris seems to be like an
illusion to give that look like its
not real.

7. Here is a long shot as
explained previously, this is
used to show that they both
have made an appearance
together.
Here a mid shot is used,
and it is the first time in the
video where they express
their feelings by interacting
with each other and let
their emotions out for each
other as the lyrics expresses
their sadness throughout
the music video.

8. A close up of Jordan's face
has been used to show
that she is in distress, all
alone with no other soul
near her side. The fact that
she doesn’t smile at all
throughout the video, the
audience can gather that it
is a sad love song.
