This document summarizes and analyzes the music video for "Castle of Glass" by Linkin Park. It describes how the video uses blue colors and imagery to portray the sadness and hopelessness felt by a boy who lost his father. It then shows how the boy finds hope again through looking at old photos and letters from his father. The video ends by showing the boy has grown up and joined the military team, continuing his father's legacy.
2. The music video I will be talking about is
Castle of Glass from the album living things.
The video and sound track has a type of tone
linkin park most of the songs usually have with
high base, drums etc.
This music video gives a tribute to the soldiers
who died serving there country and there
family how they actually feel.
This music video talks about hopelessness but
in the end gets hope.
3. The music video is fully edited
The music video gives a message of hope in the
end talking the families of the soldiers died.
4. There Are many things in the music video
which describe the feelings and the change in
the thinking inside the music video.
Firstly we can see that in the start the music
video uses excess of blue color to show that the
kid is hopeless.
5. The blue color in the background of this room
and the blue color of water including the blue
color of marbles in it all are to show that there
in no hope left in the boy cause his father is no
more with him.
6. Another thing in which the boy is shown sad is
that he is listening to music and is shown thing
about something.
This is approved by many doctors that when
someone is Sad he usually listen to music.
7. Also after the song starts the fully animated
part of the video starts and the whole band is
shown in a Blue backgrounded rocky area this
is also when the director uses Blue color to
show sadness.
8. Then the boy enter a room where he looks at his
fathers old photographs and letters and get
motivated, where his fathers Cap and the video
turns into a hopeful video that every thing will be
all right. The change in light from blue to yellow
can be seen clearly.
9. Then the video moves to a view of the Medal of
the honor and it is shown that the boy grown
up is part of the team now.
10. The video ends up showing the boy as a Man
and goes in the same way to a little girl to tell
her that someone from his family dies too and
the girl starts to cry.
11. The video hints at the boy and the woman
being the family of Rabbit, who died in the
previous game of the Medal of honor and the
teammates being Mother and Preacher. True to
the Medal of Honor philosophy, Castle of Glass
highlights the emotional realities soldiers and
their families face far from the battlefield. The
video ends with a quote from Winston
Churchill, Shown above.

12. The music video I will be talking about is Just
the way you are from the album Doo-Wops &
Hooligans.
The video and sound track has a type of tone
Bruno Mars most of the songs usually have
with high violin, piano etc.
This music video is to tell a girl that she looks
perfect in whatever she do.
This music video talks about Love in an
animated way.
13. Most of the part of the video was edited to
show that Bruno Mars is making different
views from the media of the cassette.
14. The video begins with Kelley(the girl in the
video) listening to "Just the Way You Are" on
her Walkman as Bruno Mars walks in. He stops
the tape player, removes the cassette tape and
begins singing his song.
15. As the instrumental portion of the song begins,
Mars pulls the media out of the cassette tape
and arranges the media into letters forming his
name followed by the song title.
16. As the song continues, he forms a picture of a
drum, on the table, using the tape media.
17. Additional images of similar construction
throughout the music video including a
portrait of Bruno Mars and one of Kelley
blinking her eyes and smiling as Bruno Mars
continues singing.
18. Most images were animated, including a bell
which Mars rings with his fingers.
19. And then she came and sit with Bruno Mars
smiling and looking into his eyes.
20. Lastly, Bruno Mars finishes the song while
singing and playing an upright piano while
Kelley watches and smiles. The video was
inspired by the artwork of Erika Iris Simmons.
21. The Song I have chosen was Sung by Atif
Aslam at Coke Studio Pakistan.
The Music Video of the Song was in the Room
with all the Band members playing there given
instruments and Atif aslam singing the Song.
The dress up of Atif aslam was pure pakistani.
