What is Electronic Retailing or E-tailing?
 Electronic retailing (E-tailing) is the sale of goods and
services through the Internet. ... E-tailing requires companies
to tailor their business models to capture Internet sales, which
can include building out distribution channels such as
warehouses, Internet WebPages, and product shipping centers.
 E-tailing revenue can come from the sale of products and
services, through subscriptions to website content, or through
advertising.
 E-Retailing is a B2C (Business to customer) business model
that executes a transaction between businessman and the end
consumer.

AIDA is a direct mail marketing acronym.
 Attention – grab the visitor’s attention
 Interest – pique their interest in

 Desire – build desire for the product
 Action – Get them to follow a call to

people . This includes:
 Using banners on other sites to
advertise.

new product is available .

system calculates the price to be paid for the products.

credit card or e-cash. The payment mechanism must be fully secure.
