The document proposes an approach to identify which intermediate datasets generated during cloud-based data processing need to be encrypted to preserve privacy, while avoiding encrypting all datasets which is inefficient and costly. It models the generation relationships between datasets and uses an upper-bound constraint on privacy leakage to determine which datasets exceed the threshold. This is formulated as an optimization problem to minimize privacy-preserving costs. Evaluation on real-world datasets shows the approach significantly reduces costs compared to fully encrypting all intermediate datasets.
A scalabl e and cost effective framework for privacy preservation over big d...amna alhabib
This document proposes a scalable and cost-effective framework called SaC-FRAPP for preserving privacy over big data on the cloud. The key idea is to leverage cloud-based MapReduce to anonymize large datasets before releasing them to other parties. Anonymized datasets are then managed using HDFS to avoid re-computation costs. A prototype system is implemented to demonstrate that the framework can anonymize and manage anonymized big data sets in a highly scalable, efficient and cost-effective manner.
AN EFFICIENT SOLUTION FOR PRIVACYPRESERVING, SECURE REMOTE ACCESS TO SENSITIV...cscpconf
Sharing data that contains personally identifiable or sensitive information, such as medical
records, always has privacy and security implications. The issues can become rather complex
when the methods of access can vary, and accurate individual data needs to be provided whilst
mass data release for specific purposes (for example for medical research) also has to be
catered for. Although various solutions have been proposed to address the different aspects
individually, a comprehensive approach is highly desirable. This paper presents a solution for
maintaining the privacy of data released en masse in a controlled manner, and for providing
secure access to the original data for authorized users. The results show that the solution is provably secure and maintains privacy in a more efficient manner than previous solutions

This document discusses effective modular order preserving encryption on cloud using multivariate hypergeometric distribution (MHGD). It begins with an abstract that describes how order preserving encryption allows efficient range queries on encrypted data. It then provides background on cloud computing security concerns and discusses existing approaches to searchable encryption, including probabilistic encryption, deterministic encryption, homomorphic encryption, and order preserving encryption. The key proposed approach is to improve the security of existing modular order preserving encryption approaches by utilizing MHGD.
The document discusses privacy and security issues related to cloud storage. It proposes a new privacy-preserving auditing scheme for cloud storage that uses an interactive challenge-response protocol and verification protocol. This allows a third party auditor to verify the integrity and identify corrupted data for a cloud storage user, while preserving data privacy. The scheme aims to be efficient, lightweight and privacy-preserving. Experimental results show the protocol is efficient and achieves its goals.
Multi- Level Data Security Model for Big Data on Public Cloud: A New ModelEswar Publications
With the advent of cloud computing the big data has emerged as a very crucial technology. The certain type of cloud provides the consumers with the free services like storage, computational power etc. This paper is intended to make use of infrastructure as a service where the storage service from the public cloud providers is going to leveraged by an individual or organization. The paper will emphasize the model which can be used by anyone without any cost. They can store the confidential data without any type of security issue, as the data will be altered
in such a way that it cannot be understood by the intruder if any. Not only that but the user can retrieve back the original data within no time. The proposed security model is going to effectively and efficiently provide a robust security while data is on cloud infrastructure as well as when data is getting migrated towards cloud infrastructure or vice versa.
Data mining over diverse data sources is useful
means for discovering valuable patterns, associations, trends, and
dependencies in data. Many variants of this problem are existing,
depending on how the data is distributed, what type of data
mining we wish to do, how to achieve privacy of data and what
restrictions are placed on sharing of information. A transactional
database owner, lacking in the expertise or computational sources
can outsource its mining tasks to a third party service provider
or server. However, both the itemsets along with the association
rules of the outsourced database are considered private property
of the database owner.
In this paper, we consider a scenario where multiple data sources
are willing to share their data with trusted third party called
combiner who runs data mining algorithms over the union
of their data as long as each data source is guaranteed that
its information that does not pertain to another data source
will not be revealed. The proposed algorithm is characterized
with (1) secret sharing based secure key transfer for distributed
transactional databases with its lightweight encryption is used
for preserving the privacy. (2) and rough set based mechanism
for association rules extraction for an efficient and mining task.
Performance analysis and experimental results are provided for
demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
This document discusses securely mining data stored in the cloud using encryption techniques. It proposes using k-means clustering on the data, then encrypting it with AES. Homomorphic encryption is then performed using Paillier cryptosystem to allow computations on the encrypted data while preserving privacy. The key advantages discussed are that this approach allows for secure data mining and analysis in the cloud without revealing private information to unauthorized parties. It also analyzes related work on encryption and homomorphic techniques for secure cloud computing and big data analysis.

SECURE OUTSOURCED CALCULATIONS WITH HOMOMORPHIC ENCRYPTIONacijjournal
ith the rapid development of cloud computing, the privacy security incidents occur frequently, especially
data security issues. Cloud users would like to upload their sensitive information to cloud service providers
in encrypted form rather than the raw data, and to prevent the misuse of data. The main challenge is to
securely process or analyze these encrypted data without disclosing any useful information, and to achieve
the rights management efficiently. In this paper, we propose the encrypted data processing protocols for
cloud computing by utilizing additively homomorphic encryption and proxy cryptography. For the traditional
homomorphic encryption schemes with many limitations, which are not suitable for cloud computing
applications. We simulate a cloud computing scenario with flexible access control and extend the original
homomorphic cryptosystem to suit our scenario by supporting various arithmetical calculations. We also
prove the correctness and security of our protocols, and analyze the advantages and performance by comparing
with some latest works.
Accurate and Efficient Secured Dynamic Multi-keyword Ranked SearchDakshineshwar Swain
The document presents a project on developing an "accurate and efficient dynamic multi-keyword ranked search scheme". It aims to address issues with searching encrypted data outsourced to the cloud. The proposed system uses a tree-based index structure and "Greedy Depth-first Search" algorithm to improve search efficiency. It also utilizes TF-IDF scores to rank documents by relevance to search terms. The project aims to provide a searchable encryption scheme that supports accurate, efficient multi-keyword searches and dynamic operations on document collections.
An proficient and Confidentiality-Preserving Multi- Keyword Ranked Search ove...Editor IJCATR
Cloud computing has developed progressively prevalent for data owners to outsource their data to public cloud servers
while consenting data users to reclaim this data. For isolation disquiets, a secure rifle over encrypted cloud data has stirred numerous
research mechanisms underneath the particular owner model. Conversely, most cloud servers in practice do not just assist one owner,
as an alternative, their sustenance gives multiple owners to share the assistances carried by cloud computing. In this proficient and
confidentiality-Preserving Multi-Keyword Ranked Search over Encrypted Cloud Data, new schemes to deal with Privacy preserving
Ranked Multi-keyword Search in a Multi-owner model (PRMSM) has been introduced. To facilitate cloud servers to execute secure
search without knowing the actual data of both keywords and trapdoors, we thoroughly build a novel secure search protocol. To rank
the search results and domain the privacy of relevance scores amongst keywords and files. To thwart the assailants from snooping
secret keys and fantasizing to be legal data users submitting pursuits, a novel dynamic secret key generation protocol and a new data
user authentication protocol is discussed.
Privacy preserving multi-keyword ranked search over encrypted cloud dataIGEEKS TECHNOLOGIES
This document proposes a system called privacy-preserving multi-keyword ranked search over encrypted cloud data (MRSE). Existing searchable encryption systems only support single-keyword or boolean keyword search without result ranking. The proposed MRSE system allows a user to search for multiple keywords and returns documents ranked by relevance. It establishes privacy requirements and uses an efficient "coordinate matching" semantic to quantify document similarity based on keyword matches. The system architecture includes modules for data owners to encrypt and upload files, for users to search and download encrypted files, and for ranking search results.
Survey on Privacy- Preserving Multi keyword Ranked Search over Encrypted Clou...Editor IJMTER
The advent of cloud computing, data owners are motivated to outsource their complex
data management systems from local sites to commercial public cloud for great flexibility and
economic savings. But for protecting data privacy, sensitive data has to be encrypted before
outsourcing.Considering the large number of data users and documents in cloud, it is crucial for
the search service to allow multi-keyword query and provide result similarity ranking to meet the
effective data retrieval need. Related works on searchable encryption focus on single keyword
search or Boolean keyword search, and rarely differentiate the search results. We first propose a
basic MRSE scheme using secure inner product computation, and then significantly improve it to
meet different privacy requirements in two levels of threat models. The Incremental High Utility
Pattern Transaction Frequency Tree (IHUPTF-Tree) is designed according to the transaction
frequency (descending order) of items to obtain a compact tree.
By using high utility pattern the items can be arranged in an efficient manner. Tree structure
is used to sort the items. Thus the items are sorted and frequent pattern is obtained. The frequent
pattern items are retrieved from the database by using hybrid tree (H-Tree) structure. So the
execution time becomes faster. Finally, the frequent pattern item that satisfies the threshold value
is displayed.
IRJET- A Study of Privacy Preserving Data Mining and TechniquesIRJET Journal
This document summarizes a study on privacy preserving data mining techniques. It begins with an abstract that introduces privacy preserving data mining as a technique for analyzing shared data while preserving data sensitivity and privacy. It then reviews literature on recent privacy preserving data mining techniques, including techniques for vertically partitioned databases using homomorphic encryption. The document proposes a new privacy preserving association rule mining model and technique. It concludes that privacy preserving data mining is an important new technique for situations where different parties need to combine data for analysis while preserving privacy.
IRJET- Providing Privacy in Healthcare Cloud for Medical Data using Fog Compu...IRJET Journal
This document proposes a method to improve healthcare data security when stored in the cloud. It discusses how currently, healthcare data stored entirely in the cloud loses user control and faces privacy risks. The proposed method uses "Split and Combine" (SaC) technique to split data between the cloud and a local server. 80% of the split data is encrypted and uploaded to the cloud, while the remaining 20% is stored locally. When a user requests data, it is downloaded from both sources, combined and decrypted. The document evaluates this method and finds it increases security by partially storing data locally compared to traditional cloud-only storage. It concludes the SaC technique enhances privacy but the local server must always be online to combine data.
The document proposes a system for multi-keyword ranked search over encrypted cloud data while preserving privacy. It addresses limitations in previous systems that allowed single keyword search or did not consider privacy. The proposed system uses asymmetric key encryption, a block-max index, and dynamic key generation to allow efficient retrieval of relevant encrypted data from the cloud without security breaches. It involves three parts: (1) a server that encrypts and stores data in the cloud and sends decryption keys; (2) a cloud server that handles search requests, ranks results, and responds; and (3) users that request data from the cloud server.

IMAGE AUTHENTICATION THROUGH ZTRANSFORM WITH LOW ENERGY AND BANDWIDTH (IAZT)IJNSA Journal
In this paper a Z-transform based image authentication technique termed as IAZT has been proposed to
authenticate gray scale images. The technique uses energy efficient and low bandwidth based invisible data
embedding with a minimal computational complexity. Near about half of the bandwidth is required
compared to the traditional Z–transform while transmitting the multimedia contents such as images with
authenticating message through network. This authenticating technique may be used for copyright
protection or ownership verification. Experimental results are computed and compared with the existing
authentication techniques like Li’s method [11], SCDFT [13], Region-Based method [14] and many more
based on Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Image Fidelity (IF), Universal
Quality Image (UQI) and Structural Similarity Index Measurement (SSIM) which shows better performance
in IAZT.

FAST DETECTION OF DDOS ATTACKS USING NON-ADAPTIVE GROUP TESTINGIJNSA Journal
This document proposes a method for fast detection of DDoS attacks using non-adaptive group testing (NAGT). It begins with background on DDoS attacks and group testing techniques. It then describes using a strongly explicit d-disjunct matrix in NAGT to map IP addresses to "tests" performed by routers. The router counters would indicate potential hot items (attackers or victims). Two decoding algorithms are presented to identify the hot items from the test results with poly-log time complexity meeting data stream requirements. The method aims to provide early warning of DDoS attacks through efficient group testing of IP packets.

Similar to DOTNET 2013 IEEE CLOUDCOMPUTING PROJECT A privacy leakage upper bound constraint based approach for cost-effective privacy preserving of intermediate data sets in cloud
This document proposes a novel approach to identify which intermediate datasets stored in the cloud need encryption to preserve privacy in a cost-effective manner. It aims to encrypt only a subset of datasets rather than all to reduce overhead. The approach uses a privacy leakage upper bound constraint that is decomposed layer by layer to select which datasets require encryption while still satisfying privacy requirements. Experiments show the approach significantly reduces privacy preservation costs compared to existing methods.

This document summarizes a research paper on improving user navigation through website structure using the CURE clustering algorithm. The paper proposes using CURE to group related website pages into clusters to minimize changes to the existing structure while enhancing navigation. Currently, k-means is often used but it does not account for website designers' lack of user understanding. CURE is evaluated on real website data and shown to provide navigation improvements with only minor link additions. The results indicate CURE is effective for clustering website pages in a way that guides users more efficiently.
This document summarizes a research paper on privacy-preserving public auditing for secure cloud storage. The paper proposes a system that allows a third-party auditor to periodically verify the integrity of data stored by a cloud service on behalf of clients. The system enables auditing to be performed without revealing private data contents to the auditor. It also supports dynamic operations on data blocks like updates, deletes and appends. The paper reviews related work on cloud data storage security and provable data possession. It then presents the design of the proposed privacy-preserving public auditing system and evaluates its security and performance.
Improved deduplication with keys and chunks in HDFS storage providersIRJET Journal
The document proposes a new deduplication scheme for HDFS storage providers that improves reliability. It uses MD5 hashing to generate unique tags for files and blocks, and stores the tags in a metadata file. Ownership verification is done during upload/download by checking these tags. Encrypted data is distributed across block servers for reliability. Convergent keys derived from hashes encrypt the data blocks using 3DES. This ensures security while allowing deduplication. The scheme achieves both file-level and block-level deduplication and uses distributed key servers for reliable key management at large scale.
Cloud Computing is the revolution in current generation IT enterprise. Cloud computing displaces database and application software to the large data centres, where the management of services and data may not be predictable, where as the conventional solutions, for IT services are under proper logical, physical and personal controls. This aspect attribute, however comprises different security challenges which have not been well understood. It concentrates on cloud data storage security which has always been an important aspect of quality of service (QOS). In this paper, we designed and simulated an adaptable and efficient scheme to guarantee the correctness of user data stored in the cloud and also with some prominent features. Homomorphic token is used for distributed verification of erasure – coded data. By using this scheme, we can identify misbehaving servers. In spite of past works, our scheme supports effective and secure dynamic operations on data blocks such as data insertion, deletion and modification. In contrast to traditional solutions, where the IT services are under proper physical, logical and personnel controls, cloud computing moves the application software and databases to the large data centres, where the data management and services may not be absolutely truthful. This effective security and performance analysis describes that the proposed scheme is extremely flexible against malicious data modification, convoluted failures and server clouding attacks.

Bio-Cryptography Based Secured Data Replication Management in Cloud StorageIJERA Editor
Cloud computing is new way of economical and efficient storage. The single data mart storage system is a less
secure because data remain under a single data mart. This can lead to data loss due to different causes like
hacking, server failure etc. If an attacker chooses to attack a specific client, then he can aim at a fixed cloud
provider, try to have access to the client’s information. This makes an easy job of the attackers, both inside and
outside attackers get the benefit of using data mining to a great extent. Inside attackers refer to malicious
employees at a cloud provider. Thus single data mart storage architecture is the biggest security threat
concerning data mining on cloud, so in this paper present the secure replication approach that encrypt based on
biocrypt and replicate the data in distributed data mart storage system. This approach involves the encryption,
replication and storage of data
IRJET-Implementation of Threshold based Cryptographic Technique over Cloud Co...IRJET Journal
This document discusses implementing a threshold-based cryptographic technique for data and key storage security over cloud computing. It proposes a system that encrypts data stored on the cloud to prevent unauthorized access and data attacks by the cloud service provider. The system uses a threshold-based cryptographic approach that distributes encryption keys among multiple users, requiring a threshold number of keys to decrypt the data. This prevents collusion attacks and ensures data remains secure even if some user keys are compromised. The implementation results show the system can effectively secure data on the cloud and protect legitimate users from cheating or attacks from the cloud service provider or other users.
Efficient technique for privacy preserving publishing of set valued data on c...ElavarasaN GanesaN
The document proposes a technique for privacy-preserving publishing of set-valued data on cloud computing. It extends the existing Extended Quasi Identifier Partitioning (EQI-partitioning) technique by incorporating l-diversity and k-anonymity to reduce information loss. A multi-level accessibility model is also developed to provide security based on user access levels. Identity-based proxy re-encryption is used to encrypt the data according to sensitivity values and provide access to different user levels. The proposed method aims to reduce information loss while improving security when outsourcing sensitive set-valued data to the cloud.
Towards Secure Data Distribution Systems in Mobile Cloud Computing: A SurveyIRJET Journal
This document summarizes 6 research papers related to security in mobile cloud computing. It discusses issues like data integrity, authentication, and access control when mobile devices' data and computations are integrated with cloud computing. Several cryptographic techniques are described that can help ensure privacy and security, such as proxy provable data possession, attribute-based encryption, and proxy re-encryption. The document concludes that while mobile cloud computing provides benefits, security of user data shared in the cloud is the main challenge, and various frameworks have been proposed but no single system addresses all security aspects.
Improving Data Storage Security in Cloud using HadoopIJERA Editor
The rising abuse of information stored on large data centres in cloud emphasizes the need to safe guard the data. Despite adopting strict authentication policies for cloud users data while transferred over to secure channel when reaches data centres is vulnerable to numerous attacks .The most widely adoptable methodology is safeguarding the cloud data is through encryption algorithm. Encryption of large data deployed in cloud is actually a time consuming process. For the secure transmission of information AES encryption has been used which provides most secure way to transfer the sensitive information from sender to the intended receiver. The main purpose of using this technique is to make sensitive information unreadable to all other except the receiver. The data thus compressed enables utilization of storage space in cloud environment. It has been augmented with Hadoop‟s map-reduce paradigm which works in a parallel mode. The experimental results clearly reflect the effectiveness of the methodology to improve the security of data in cloud environment.
Effective & Flexible Cryptography Based Scheme for Ensuring User`s Data Secur...ijsrd.com
Cloud computing has been envisioned as the next-generation architecture of IT enterprise. In contrast to traditional solutions, where the IT services are under proper physical, logical and personnel controls, cloud computing moves the application software and databases to the large data centers, where the management of the data and services may not be fully trustworthy. This unique attribute, however, poses many new security challenges which have not been well understood. In this article, we focus on cloud data storage security, which has always been an important aspect of quality of service. To ensure the correctness of users' data in the cloud, we propose an effective and flexible cryptography based scheme. Extensive security and performance analysis shows that the proposed scheme is highly efficient and resilient against malicious data modification attack.

A PRACTICAL CLIENT APPLICATION BASED ON ATTRIBUTE-BASED ACCESS CONTROL FOR UN...cscpconf
One of widely used cryptographic primitives for the cloud application is Attribute Based Encryption (ABE) where users can have their own attributes and a ciphertext encrypted by an access policy. Though ABE provides many benefits, the novelty often only exists in an academic world and it is often difficult to find a practical use of ABE for a real application. In this paper, we discuss the design and implementation of a cloud storage client application which supports the concept of ABE. Our proposed client provides an effective access control mechanism where it allows different types of access policy to be defined thus allowing large datasets to be shared by multiple users. Using different access policy, each user only needs to access only a small part of the big data. The goal of our experiment is to explore the right set of strategies for developing a practical ABE-based system. Through the implementation and evaluation, we have determined the various characteristics and issues associated with developing a practical ABEbased
application.

Secure Privacy Preserving Using Multilevel Trust For Cloud StorageIRJET Journal
This document summarizes a research paper that proposes a system for secure and private cloud storage using multiple encryption algorithms and third-party auditing. The system aims to preserve privacy while enabling public auditing of stored data. It utilizes homomorphic authenticators, random masking, and asymmetric (RSA) and symmetric (AES) encryption algorithms. A third-party auditor can efficiently audit user data in the cloud to ensure integrity without learning the actual data contents, and the system addresses potential data leaks from the auditor. The paper analyzes RSA and AES algorithms to determine which provides better performance and security for the system.

Generating privacy-protected synthetic data using Secludy and MilvusZilliz
During this demo, the founders of Secludy will demonstrate how their system utilizes Milvus to store and manipulate embeddings for generating privacy-protected synthetic data. Their approach not only maintains the confidentiality of the original data but also enhances the utility and scalability of LLMs under privacy constraints. Attendees, including machine learning engineers, data scientists, and data managers, will witness first-hand how Secludy's integration with Milvus empowers organizations to harness the power of LLMs securely and efficiently.

DOTNET 2013 IEEE CLOUDCOMPUTING PROJECT A privacy leakage upper bound constraint based approach for cost-effective privacy preserving of intermediate data sets in cloud
1. A Privacy Leakage Upper Bound Constraint-Based Approach for Cost-
Effective Privacy Preserving of Intermediate Data Sets in Cloud
ABSTRACT:
Cloud computing provides massive computation power and storage capacity which enable
users to deploy computation and data-intensive applications without infrastructure
investment. Along the processing of such applications, a large volume of intermediate data
sets will be generated, and often stored to save the cost of recomputing them. However,
preserving the privacy of intermediate data sets becomes a challenging problem because
adversaries may recover privacy-sensitive information by analyzing multiple intermediate data
sets. Encrypting ALL data sets in cloud is widely adopted in existing approaches to address this
challenge. But we argue that encrypting all intermediate data sets are neither efficient nor
cost-effective because it is very time consuming and costly for data-intensive applications to
en/decrypt data sets frequently while performing any operation on them. In this paper, we
propose a novel upper bound privacy leakage constraint-based approach to identify which
intermediate data sets need to be encrypted and which do not, so that privacy-preserving cost
can be saved while the privacy requirements of data holders can still be satisfied. Evaluation
results demonstrate that the privacy-preserving cost of intermediate data sets can be
significantly reduced with our approach over existing ones where all data sets are encrypted.
EXISTING SYSTEM:
The privacy concerns caused by retaining intermediate data sets in cloud are important but
they are paid little attention. Storage and computation services in cloud are equivalent from

2. an economical perspective because they are charged in proportion to their usage. Thus, cloud
users can store valuable intermediate data sets selectively when processing original data sets
in data intensive applications like medical diagnosis, in order to curtail the overall expenses by
avoiding frequent recomputation to obtain these data sets. Such scenarios are quite common
because data users often reanalyze results, conduct new analysis on intermediate data sets, or
share some intermediate results with others for collaboration. Without loss of generality, the
notion of intermediate data set herein refers to intermediate and resultant data sets.
However, the storage of intermediate data enlarges attack surfaces so that privacy
requirements of data holders are at risk of being violated. Usually, intermediate data sets in
cloud are accessed and processed by multiple parties, but rarely controlled by original data set
holders. This enables an adversary to collect intermediate data sets together and menace
privacy-sensitive information from them, bringing considerable economic loss or severe social
reputation impairment to data owners. But, little attention has been paid to such a cloud-
specific privacy issue.
DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:
Existing technical approaches for preserving the privacy of data sets stored in cloud mainly
include encryption and anonymization. On one hand, encrypting all data sets, a
straightforward and effective approach, is widely adopted in current research.
However, processing on encrypted data sets efficiently is quite a challenging task, because
most existing applications only run on unencrypted data sets. Although recent progress has
been made in homomorphic encryption which theoretically allows performing computation on
encrypted data sets, applying current algorithms are rather expensive due to their inefficiency
On the other hand, partial information of data sets, e.g., aggregate information, is required to
expose to data users in most cloud applications like data mining and analytics. In such cases,
data sets are Anonymized rather than encrypted to ensure both data utility and privacy
preserving. Current privacy-preserving techniques like generalization can withstand most
privacy attacks on one single data set, while preserving privacy for multiple data sets is still a
challenging problem
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
Encrypting all intermediate data sets will lead to high overhead and low efficiency when they
are frequently accessed or processed. As such, we propose to encrypt part of intermediate
data sets rather than all for reducing privacy-preserving cost.
In this paper, we propose a novel approach to identify which intermediate data sets need to
be encrypted while others do not, in order to satisfy privacy requirements given by data
3. holders. A tree structure is modeled from generation relationships of intermediate data sets to
analyze privacy propagation of data sets.
As quantifying joint privacy leakage of multiple data sets efficiently is challenging, we exploit
an upper bound constraint to confine privacy disclosure. Based on such a constraint, we model
the problem of saving privacy-preserving cost as a constrained optimization problem. This
problem is then divided into a series of sub-problems by decomposing privacy leakage
constraints. Finally, we design a practical heuristic algorithm accordingly to identify the data
sets that need to be encrypted.
ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:
The major contributions of our research are threefold.
First, we formally demonstrate the possibility of ensuring privacy leakage requirements
without encrypting all intermediate data sets when encryption is incorporated with
anonymization to preserve privacy.
Second, we design a practical heuristic algorithm to identify which data sets need to be
encrypted for preserving privacy while the rest of them do not.
Third, experiment results demonstrate that our approach can significantly reduce privacy-
preserving cost over existing approaches, which is quite beneficial for the cloud users
who utilize cloud services in a pay-as-you-go fashion.
