What Is The Purpose Of So Far Away
Going through the loss of a loved one is always a great hardship, and affects more people than ever
imaginable. It gives a feeling of anguish and despair that cannot easily be healed. So Far Away is an
alternative metal song performed by Avenged Sevenfold, and is a tribute to their deceased drummer
James Owen Sullivan. It is of lyrical and thematic perfection, accompanied with expertly played
instrumentals and powerful vocals that solidify capturing the feeling that comes with the loss of a
loved one. This song is an impactful experience for anyone who listens, if they know of its purpose or
not. It displays a message further beyond their tribute to James, and shows how loss affects everyone.

People may question how they will keep going in life without that person by their side. This song was
written shortly after the band s drummer passed away due to an intentional drug overdose. It was
written entirely as a tribute to their late friend and how he was an important part in their lives. Three
days before he passed, he wrote and recorded one last song named Fiction. This song was James
suicide note, and was originally named Death. These two songs go hand in hand with one another and
are both incredibly impactful on anybody. They show the suffering and pain that James went through
in his late life, and his choice to end that pain. So Far Away not only displays these feelings of grief
from the band, but also shows how somebody is appreciated in their own life. As it is shown that the
rest of Avenged Sevenfold loved James wholeheartedly. This song shows how so many people
genuinely care about each other, just as the band loved James. Many people believe that they have no
worth in their life and that nobody cares about them. It reminds people how much they truly are worth,
and how much people care about them. So Far Away is a reminder that no matter the person, they are
valued by somebody in their life. It shows

Rowing Reflection
. Rowing has always been a type of personal thermostat and stress reliever for me, I did it almost
selfishly. That is why, when the team held captain elections halfway through my first semester, I did
not vote for myself, I was not on the team because I aspired to be a captain. And further more, when I
received over 75% of the votes, I was shocked. I was one of the newest members of the team and I
was not a vocal team member by any measure. Still, I accepted and we had a great year with a 6th
place finish at nationals. It taught me that leadership is not something you choose, it chooses you.
When choosing a captain the team wanted someone they could emulate and who s is motives they
never had to question. I was a hard worker, and though I did not request it, my team started to align
themselves behind me. From then on whether leadership was or was not the reason I was concerned
with rowing, leadership became my responsibility out of immediate consequence of my personality.
This turned out to be one of the most valuable lessons of my college career. Boston College Varsity
Men s Rowing taught me leadership is never for or about the leader. It is about the team. (~36

Transition Process Internet Protocol Version 4 ( Ipv4 ) Essay
Transition Mechanism:
Transition process Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) temporary aid to the Internet from a technology
infrastructure
Without the need for a sudden change in the mechanism, IP protocol allows for a smooth transition to
the new version. This idea in mind, many of these techniques are designed to accommodate the
coexistence of the two versions.
The early stages of IPv6 deployment and adoption of a new protocol, it is fast enough to run IPv6 and
IPv4 believed to have gained widespread adoption. However, this change does not happen, which is
why the more relevant topic today.
Transition mechanisms to apply the different methods they can be classified according to:
Dual stack
Tunneling
Translation
They assume that the underlying infrastructure, which is mainly based on whether IPv4 or IPv6 is also
possible to classify the different mechanisms. At the beginning of ran out of IPv4, IPv6 access
gradually began adding even though IPv4 networks, providers are beginning to consider the
deployment of IPv6 networks only. This change of policy is still IPv4 supports only the necessary
means to allow users to access the network, the IPv6 networks only. Several mechanisms have been
proposed and more are currently being discussed at the IETF. The following is a description of the
mechanisms of the most widely deployed and more mature.
An IP address consists of 32 bits. Instead of expressing IPv4 binary notation (Base2) addresses using
the 32 bits at a time, it is an IPv4

Diving Bell And The Butterfly Symbolism
Diving Bell and the Butterfly is a movie about a man with a nickname of Jean Do. Jean Do was a
writer, and had a stroke that put an end to his ability to walk and do some physical things. Something
that was really great about the film was in the beginning of the movie when Jean Do first awakes from
his coma. In the beginning of the film when Jean opens his eye the camera is in a third person point of
view. The camera is in Jean s point of view for majority of the film. The movie does a really good job
with giving it from the main actor s point of view, and giving an exact representation of what Jean is
seeing. When Jean opens his eye the camera is blurred up just like as if he has just awaken from a long
nap. From the shot of the camera it

Spectrum Is a Limied and Valuable Resource Essay
Spectrum is a limited and valuable resource. The escalating requirement for wireless communication
and broadband services has augmented the attempts to improve the designs for wireless systems.
These enhanced wireless systems offer substantial increase in data throughput and link range without
the requirement of any additional bandwidth. This led to the development of MIMO Systems. In
Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology, multiple antennas are used at both the transmitter
and receiver to improve the functioning of the wireless communication system. We accomplish this
objective by exploiting the spatial domain of the transmission medium.
In this chapter, we describe the MIMO system model along with a brief discussion of its ... Show more

The detector then chooses one of the BM possible transmitted symbol vectors based on the available
data. An optimal detector should return as x ̂ = x*.
3.3 MIMO System Model
The capacity of Single Input Single Output (SISO) wireless communication systems must be increased
to fulfill the ever growing demands of efficient transmission rate. This can be done by allocating
additional bandwidth which is not always feasible due to the limited spectral resources [Alamouti
1998]. Recent studies have proved that using spatial multiplexing MIMO systems can boost the
capacity of a wireless communication system significantly without the prerequisite of extra
bandwidth.
Multipath propagation is an essential component of all wireless communication system. Conventional
radio systems rely on the strong primary signal and also make use of multipath mitigation techniques
to overcome multipath propagation and interference. Beam forming technology or smart antenna
technology is used for this purpose. A smart antenna is capable of routing transmitted beam by
scheming the phase of the signal at each element of the antenna array to the receiver. Receiving
diversity, this uses numerous antennas at the receiver side and merges all the received signals to
improve the signal reliability. These techniques are used to reduce the effect of multipath propagation
on the communication systems. MIMO makes use of multipath propagation to get better throughput,
range and reliability [Berrou 1996]. In

Women In The Renaissance
Transition into the Renaissance and Elizabethan Era s showed promising changes when it came to
theatre, and the lives and many actors. These performances were all male based and showed very little
involvement with women in the theatre. This is because women were not allowed to participate in the
theatre. Some people might have been afraid, others might presume due to the social status, that it
would be possibly foolish of them to do such a deed and frown upon them doing so. Looking at the
differences between the theatre and the role of the woman in the renaissance, there is a contradiction
that women did participate in theatre. Although women were not permitted to participate in theatre,
research shows that women were indeed participating in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It correlated with the world of theatre since one has to understand what it was like in those times to be
a woman and society s expectations. In Renaissance Italy, most women from the upper classes had
only two options in life: marriage or the cloister (Victoria and Albert), so there were not many options
for them when it came to what they wanted to do with their lives at that time. They really did not have
a choice at all. Victoria and Albert Museum also discusses how different rankings of class during the
renaissance played an effect on women s standards of living. As shown the upper class women had to
either marry or join the cloister, or become a nun in translation, meanwhile they also were thought of
as too high of a ranking in order to breast feed as well, as it was considered to be a job for the lower
class women. even breast feeding was considered a job for a lower class woman, and babies from
wealthy families were sent out to wet nurses. (Victoria and Albert). From the website elizabethan
era.org.uk, they state a comment made by a protestant leader named John Mark that says, women in
her greatest perfection was made to serve and obey man (Elizabethan Era). They also had a few rules
to follow as well that were deemed appropriate for the society at that time such as: they could not
practice medicine or law, could not go to college (or university), unless they were of royal descent,
they could not inherit any kind of fortune from their family, no voting, no serving in the military, and
no participation in theatre, except for the Masques

Organizational Development Is The Best At What They Do
Organizations become successful by being the best at what they do. In other words, how well the body
develops the vision and mission of their organization. I believe the significances of being the best is
the team s approach to OD. some agencies fail to meet the demands of changes internally and
externally. Business conditions do not remain the same year to year. Internal employee s needs and
working conditions also change externally, the costumer s needs change from time to time too. The
understanding of this and knowing how to develop one s organization to meet the change leads to a
successful organization. The CEO, to succeed in developing the business, he must have employee
involvement and commitment. In other words, engaged employees from top management to the team
leaders. The entire workforce must be aware of the vision and mission of the organization and the
changes that will get them there. Organizational development is the thing that will get the organization
to its goals and objectives. According to the textbook, OD encompasses the long range efforts and
plans targeted at improving an organization s talent to endure by changing the way it solves a problem
and revitalize its developments. OD involves moving toward an adaptive organization and achieving
corporate excellence by integrating the desires of employees for growth and development with
organizational Goals (Brown, 2011, p. 4). Not only does it take corporate events, but a corporate
practitioner. A person

Judge Haselton s Case Summary
In May of 1998, Kipland Kinkel brought a gun to his school. Over the course of two days this
escalated from: being sent home, to murdering his father and mother, to murdering 2 students and
wounding 26, earning a lifetime sentence of 111 years and 8 months in prison. In the court case being
examined, the presiding judge addresses the original case, defendants ground for appeal, and the
justification for the State s decision to deny the appeal. Judge Haselton effectively uses ethos, logos,
and pathos to support the Higher Court s decision to deny the appeal because the original sentence was
constitutional and just. Summary In State of Oregon v. Kipland Kinkel, Judge Haselton summarizes
the decision to deny Kinkel s appeal of his sentencing. Kinkel was sentenced by the Lower Court to
111 years and 8 months for the confession of 4 murders and 25 accounts of attempted murder. Several
medical personal and parents testified against Kinkel at the hearing stating that, he is and remains
dangerous, (para. 15). The defense s grounds for appeal consist of the sentencing being cruel and
unusual and that the protection of society was considered more than reformation. The higher court
denied it was cruel and unusual because it did not shock the conscience. The presiding judge also
denied that reformation was of higher significance than the protection of society because there were
multiple victims affected in a public setting. Audience, Purpose, and Rhetorical Stance There is a

Creating a Social Program for the Homeless
Final Project: Creating a Social Program I have decided to create a social program that identifies the
social problem of Homelessness. The new human services, social program will target helping
homeless individuals and families to get off the streets. In order to have a successful program I have to
come up with an outline and cover all of the basics. This program will have many different resources
available to homeless or about to be homeless individuals and families. There are so many homeless
people out there and her in the state of Florida there are not many places for homeless people to turn
to for comfort and safety. So I am truly excited to be creating this new program that will help many
people to go forward and live wonderful and successful lives, no matter what they have been through.
Throughout this paper I will be discussing some of the things that are needed in order to start an
organization. This paper will serve as an outline or an information source on how to create a social
program as well as the social program that I am creating. Basic Information and Demographics The
name of the social program that I have come up with is called New Beginnings. This organization will
be a community service program for the homeless population. Deciding on a place to put the
organization is very important because it is best to try and target an area that is in need of the services.
After some careful research the demographic area that I have chosen to place this

Easy You Are Likely Going The Wrong Way Analysis
If the road is easy, you re likely going the wrong way. What this means is that people need struggles in
their daily lives to accomplish desired goals which might not be easy. This is so true such as living in
the 21st century where their is constant violence towards people fighting for peace and a better
tomorrow. There is a film, The Lone Survivor, that also shows people experiencing violence fighting
for peace in Afghanistan. Also, there is the movie, The Lost Boys, where people fight for survival and
their religious beliefs. In addition, there is a television show called, Naked and Afraid, where people
are sent to Africa to learn survival skills. Films and shows now at days show how struggling for real

heated seats now to give you the relaxing time in winter. They also offer ventilated seats which is even
better. Most car manufactures offer second row T.V. Those screens can be used to watch video or
anything for a screen. Some SUV s with 3rd rows also have a designated monitor for the third row

Blanche Dubois Patriarchy
Tennessee William s A Streetcar Named Desire distorts truth within Blanche s mind ( I don t tell the
truth. I tell what ought to be the truth ) to the extent that veracity itself is disintegrated unconsciously
into her inner deceptive conflict of illusion and reality. Williams externalises this conflict in the
typification of Blanche and Stanley as Nietzsche s Apollonian Dionysian dialectic in the inevitable
destruction of Blanche in her lies, coerced by women s suffering due to the onslaught of patriarchy.
Back to secrets and lies The deaths that Blanche suffers engender her characterisation as the
Apollonian in her world of delusion and lies. Allan s suicide becomes the first of Blanche s traumatic
encounters with death ( All of those deaths! The long parade to the graveyard ) embodying in her
personified monologue the imminence of death ( Why, the Grim Reaper had put up his tent on our
doorstep! ). Further, this necrophobia and her guilt for Allan s suicide, elicited by the leitmotif
Varsouviana provokes her deterioration into her fantasy as a substratum of her anguish, becoming the
epitome of the Apollonian. Moreover, Allan s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Stanley thrusts Blanche into insanity as means to assert dominance and affirm his reality by nullifying
Blanche s judgement. The rape is such a powerful catalyst for Blanche s descent into madness, as she
discerns the Apollonian consciousness of sexuality and darkness she has constructed is eerily
indistinguishable from Stanley s Dionysian ecstatic realm. Ergo, she has no true escape in the rhetoric
question how could I stay here with him, after last night, with just those curtains between us? Thus,
Williams encapsulates Blanche as the exemplar of patriarchy s stigmatisation of female sickness, and
fear of feminine sexuality that threatens the balance of the household and

Future Medications and Newer Drugs
Future medications Introduction This chapter deals with the newer drugs available in all classes of
psychiatric disorders. Anxiety (Social Phobia) Anxiety disorders affect more than 40 million adults in
the U.S., with about 15 million of those suffering from acute social phobia, according to the National
Institute of Mental Health. The drug, which has a unique mechanism of action, is administered in an
intranasal spray and acts with rapid onset on peripheral receptors from nasal chemosensory neurons
that act on the hypothalamic limbic system in the brain, which is thought to be the primary center of
emotion. In clinical trials, it was shown to improve social performance and social interaction anxiety
within 10 minutes of administration. Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) ADHD is one
of the most common reasons children in the United States are referred for mental health services and
affects as many as one in every 20 children, according to Mental Health America. A potential medicine
in development for ADHD is an agonist of neuronal nicotinic receptors (NNR). NNRs serve as key
regulators of nervous system functions. When certain neurotransmitters bind to an NNR, the receptor
normalizes chemical signaling in the brain, allowing neurons to communicate properly. This results in
increased signaling when the nervous system is under stimulated and decreased signaling when the
nervous system is overstimulated. A new drug with a nonstimulant mechanism of

Kasserine Pass Battle Analysis
2. Terrain Kasserine Pass is a 2 mile wide gap in the grand Dorsal chain of the Atlas mountains in west
central Tunisa. The American scheme for containment of German forces at Faid was centered upon the
key terrain features of Djebel Ksaira to the south and Djebel Lessouda to the north. Artillery
observation posts on both hills provided visual coverage of the exits from Faid Pass and of the road
from Maknassy to the south. The troops on the heights were only able to influence the battle on the
plain around them by their observation and adjustment of artillery. The plan resulted in rigidity and the
artillery was left unprotected on the valley floor. D. COMPARE THE PRINCIPLE ANTAGONISTS

My Passion For Literature
It was an honest question, one not verbose to the point of obscurity, What language do they speak in
England? there was a beat, and I, with my ten year old witticism responded to my 17 year old half
sister s question with a candid retort, English, duh! . This amused my parents who continued packing
their suitcases and travel books, her question stemmed from our much anticipated departure to Great
Britain the next day and it had left us all buzzing with excitement. Well when did you become such a

banter was. For me, variations of that question follow my retorts even now. I am the product of two

written in the Elizabethan Era namely William Shakespeare and John Lyly. I am the product of my

Solomon Asch Conformity Experiment
The Solomon Asch s Conformity Study is an experiment where a standard line is shown to an
audience along with three other lines: one will be longer, one will be shorter, one will be the exact
same line as the standard. The goal is to identify which is the same line A, B, or C and the answer was
always obvious. The task is simple, but a person will be the only real participant in the room while the
seven others are confederates who were pretending to be participants and who were trying to use
social pressure to get the participant to conform with the majority group. For example, if the real
answer was A, the confederates would try to throw off the real participant by saying the answer is B.
With the majority saying B is the correct answer, the real participant would agree with them, even
knowing the answer is wrong because everyone else didn t say A.
The experiment was tested on 50 male students from Swarthmore College, and on average, about 32%
of the participants conformed to the incorrect answer with the majority. ... Show more content on

Final Exam: PROC 5890 1. You recently retired from government contracting work and established a
consulting company (fully consistent with government ethics laws and rules, of course) with the
primary focus of advising potential government contractors and subcontractors. Mr. Johnny Jones, of
The Johnny Jones Flooring and Construction Company has approached you with a question. Jones and
his company are potential subcontractors (they, obviously, specialize in flooring) on a federal
construction contract worth a little over two million dollars ($ 2,000,000.00) recently awarded to the
Jimmy Smith Construction Company (Jimmy Smith, the prime contractor). Neither Johnny nor his
company have ever been part of a government contract ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Law 95 563, by which only contractors, not subcontractors, may pursue claims against the
government, and the term contractor is clearly defined as a party to a Government contract other that

contracting officer from consenting to a subcontract that obligates the contracting officer to deal
directly with a subcontractor or that makes the results of arbitration, judicial determination or
voluntary settlement between the prime contractor ad subcontractor binding on the government. FAR

way whatsoever exists for a subcontractor s claim to be heard. The regulations permit and the astute
government contractor will ensure that its subcontract with the federal prime contractor will provide
for sponsorship of a subcontractor s claim. Sponsorship is the practice whereby the prime contractor
nominally prosecutes what in fact is the subcontractor s claim against the government. The appeal of
the claim is brought in the name of prime contractor even though the subcontractor is the real party in
interest. FAR 44.203 (c) (Government Contract Law, pp. 419 420). Performance and payment bonds
are an available tool to be mandated by the government for the protection of itself and of
subcontractors.

The Tale Of Two Visions Of Power
The Tale of Two Visions of Power On the eve of November 8th, 2016, secretary of the Democratic
Party Hillary Clinton or politician of the Republican Party Donald Trump will become president of the
United States. With their dividing views, it splits the nation in half with their ideals and plans for the
future. This election is what brings out the true form of freedom of speech in America polarization
between the Democrats and the Republicans. Not only does this election bring out the significance of
how important it is to vote, but also what kind of leader people want to lead for the next four years.
The vision of America s future could possibly be at stake depending on who comes out as the winner
in less than a week. Power will be given to either Clinton or Trump, and that is what will determine
the outcome of the fates for everyone residing in the Unites States for the next four years. The fate of
the United States depends on the people s beliefs of the constrained and unconstrained vision of
power. By understanding the beliefs of the people, it divides on the country s values of what they want
for the future of the citizens. These views of power can be rendered as different, yet, effective in a
sense of what the people think works best for them and possibly for others. For example, the
constrained view sees people who commit crimes as inherently evil and ..put their own interests or
egos above the..lives of others. (1620. On the contrary, the unconstrained view

The Importance Of English Education
Based on the numerous sources of sound data available, U.S. is currently out educated. On the latest
Program for International Student Assessment form 2015, the United States scored an average in
reading and science, and below average in math. Results had been unchanged since 2000. U.S. scores
are behind global leaders like Finland, South Korea and Canada. It is not a surprise that Shanghai
outscored every other country, in all areas tested.
As U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Dunkan said at the Foreign Language Summit, 2010: We have to
educate our way to a better economy, just as our competitors are doing. We see this as a challenge to
get better, and one place we obviously need to get better is in teaching languages. The United States is
a long way from being the multi lingual society that so many of our competitors are. My message to
you today is that K 12 schools and higher education institutions must be part of the solution to our
language gap.
A world class education requires students to read and communicate other languages, in addition to
English. We need the Department of Education support now, more than ever, in implementing second
language instruction starting with early education and continuing engaging students in language,
throughout high school and college. In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, it is
without a doubt of utmost importance for the citizens of the United States to become fluent in the
world languages. As Americans, we have

Pros And Cons Of Drug Testing In Schools
Imagine if your child or you walked into school and was randomly tested for drug residue. You or
your child did nothing wrong and they have no evidence that he or she was taking drugs. How would
you feel about that? Would you be alright with that? This is brought up because this topic of being
drug tested in schools randomly is being argued about quite often. Drug tests should not be mandatory
for students because they violate students rights, are very costly, and are not an effective way of
getting rid of drug use in schools. Firstly, drug tests should not be required for students because they
violate students rights. Drug tests sometimes increase feelings of paranoia and guilt, which is not
right. The athletes have not done anything wrong, yet the school treats them like they have with these
drug tests. A boy was trying out for a sport and in order to be able to play, he had to take a drug test.
His father was very against it, as well as his son. York considered it a violation of his son s privacy
and thought it sent the message that his son was guilty until proven innocent (McLure). In the
American court system we follow the rule of Innocent until proven guilty . The drug tests are going
against the traditional American court system that our Founding Fathers created in the early years of
our country. They fought for our country and some died. They took the job of setting up guidelines for
our government and country, which most likely was not easy. The most we can

Lady Brett Essay examples
The Characterization of Lady Brett
In the novel by Ernest Hemingway, The Sun Also Rises, the character named Lady Brett Ashley is
assimilated in the words of another character, Mike, with the Greek Goddess Circe. This Goddess is
known in Homer s Odyssey for luring men with her irresistible charms and transforming them into
animals. If this myth was to partake in reality, it would be without doubt represented in this novel. The
majority of men in the story are tormented and subject to Brett s physical and sexual assets. The first
characterization we get from her is one of a selfish, alcoholic, manipulative, sexual and evil woman
who emasculates her male partners. However, this superficial characterization would ignore the

His coward actions in Spain are motivated by the desire to possess Brett, but all men in this novel,
except for Cohn himself, seem to have understood that she is cannot be possessed. This leads to a
complete self destructive and uncontrolled anger which forces Cohn to leave Pamplona and be
excluded from the group. It is also pride and control over himself that Cohn has lost to Brett, a display
of his loss of masculinity. Finally, this perception of an emasculating woman can be pushed further to
one that is seen as a goddess. While in the fiesta in Pamplona, a group of dancers, astonished by her
beauty stop and dance around Brett, a scene that resembles many dances of devotions to different gods
: Brett want to dance but they did not want want her to. They wanted her as an image to dance around.
When the song ended with the sharp riau riau! They rushed us into a wine shop (159). Lady Brett
,also, is the representation of a post war woman. By the strength she brings in this novel, breaking the
pre war code of value and role of women, Brett holds a position in this novel which traditional ,at the
time, only men held. While Jake is the narrator, it is clear that the main subject of interest is Brett. Her
role as the catalyst of the actions defines this central role and mirrors the renew of women after the
war. The participation of women in the war, having experienced the same atrocities, gave many of
them the claims that led to the first wave of feminism. Lady

Government systems
An authoritarian Monarchy is a form of government in which the leader has absolute power. Under
Sui Huangdi China had an authoritative monarchy. He was hated by scholars for his book burning and
by peasants because he forced them to work on the Great Wall of China (Beck, pg. 109). He also set
standards on weights, currency, writing, and law (Beck, pg. 109). He also built roads, and started
irrigation projects (Beck, pg. 109). An advantage of his government is that he got things done to help
the country economically.
A benevolent monarchy/tyrant is a government where the leader has absolute power. Persia had a

157). They had 1 year terms and could only be elected once every ten years (Beck, pg. 157). Also one
consul could veto the others decisions (Beck, pg. 157). The senate was composed of 300 patrician
members (Beck, pg. 157). The senate had influence over domestic and foreign policies (Beck, pg.
157). The Tribal assembly organized by the plebeians elected the tribunes and made laws for common
people (Beck, pg. 157). In times of crisis a dictator would be elected and he had absolute power over
laws and the army (Beck, pg. 157). Their rule lasted only six months (Beck, pg. 157). Dictators where
chosen by the consuls and elected by the senate (Beck, pg. 157). An advantage of an authoritarian
monarchy is that it unified china. A disadvantage is that it took away the people?s freedom. An
advantage of a benevolent monarchy/tyrant is that the people would not rebel because they were
treated fairly. An advantage of theocracy in Israel was that people did not commit crimes a lot because
doing so would violate their religion. One of the problems with this government is that the leader
could have too much power. That could lead to revolts like it did with King Solomon. An advantage of
a confederacy was that it allowed small city states to defend themselves against big empires. A
disadvantage is that one state may gain too much power. (Athens) Sparta?s mob rule was
disadvantageous because the majority of the people could be

This is a contagious bacterial disease that is transmitted through the air(respiratory) or by person to

Depicting the Various Traits and Characteristics of Leadership in Literature
When discussing any triumphant or flourishing organization or institution, the main attribute which
will always surface when examining the true fabric of what allows a particular organization or
institution to excel, will always be leadership. Leadership is portrayed at its pinnacle in William
Bratton s Turnaround, Rudolph Giuliani s book Leadership, Oren Harari s book The Leadership
Secrets of Colin Powell, and David Lipsky s book Absolutely American: Four Years at West Point. In
each of these works, the author does an exceptional job of depicting the various traits and

Bratton realized the task at hand and that it would not be easy. He knew he was given the number one
police job in the country as the commissioner of the NYPD, and he was ready. He knew that nothing
would be possible without the support of his police officers. Morale was one of the big reasons that
the NYPD was so run down upon Bratton s arrival. He set out to the 103rd precinct in Queens to let
them know that things are about to change. Bratton carefully selected this precinct as the one he would
utilize in making his initial presence felt. Morale was exceptionally low in this precinct due to the
murder of Officer Ed Byrne. In February of 1988 Officer Byrne was sitting in his patrol car guarding
the home of a man who had informed on a drug dealer when he was shot to death by drug dealers.
That was a vicious indicator of the life and times of police officers during that era, and Bratton knew
it. As Bratton s first official act as police commissioner, he stood in front of the 103 and began: I said
when I took this job that we would take this city back for the good people that live here, neighborhood
by neighborhood, block by block, house by house. But I m going to need your help in doing that. I m
going to need all of you in the game. I want my cops to be cops. I want them to be assertive. I don t
want them walking by or looking the other way when they see something. No matter what the old
rules were, I expect you to see something and take proper police

Loyalty Between Loyalty And Loyalty
The concept of loyalty comes in many different forms, and can also be defined in multiple ways by
different types of people. On the other hand, loyalty can also be viewed as a virtue that may be hard to
define at times. Loyalty is something that every living being has. A dog is loyal to his owner because
they provide the dog with food, shelter, and love. A kid is loyal to their parents for keeping them alive
and well. Even though loyalty can be tested at times, the people who are there from the beginning will
still be there at the end, if their loyalty really stands true. An American novelist, essayist, bookseller
and screenwriter, Larry McMurtry, once said that the whole point of loyalty was not to change: stick

I love the coaches here. I can t bring myself to take an offer from the Rams (Krakauer 130). This

no doubts about turning down the offer by the Rams. He chose to stay loyal to his team, rather than
going to a new team that had more to offer him. Pat valued his team more than he valued money. He
saw that the Cardinals believed in him and that they were there for him since the start. No amount of
money could be offered to him to make him leave his team.
Even though Pat Tillman s loyalty was a good kind of loyalty, can there also be a bad type of loyalty?
Some may argue that misplaced loyalty is a form of loyalty, while others do not see it as that, but
rather something that is opposite to loyalty. The definition of misplaced loyalty is loyalty that is not
acknowledged or respected. Most often or not, this type of loyalty can lead to betrayal or being taken
advantage of and can also put one s self respect, integrity, and sanity at risk. Bad influences are the
main reason why people misplace their loyalty in the wrong type of people.

Juvenile Crimes And Crime Rates
Did you know that murders, rapists, kidnappers and drug dealers are being released from jail after
only serving short and relaxed sentences. Who are these criminals you might ask, and what makes
them so special?
Good morning___ and welcome to _____. So I will tell you who they are, they are people like you and
me, juveniles under the age of 18 who commit atrocious adult crimes but are still tried in juvenile
courts. They not only get off with shortened sentences but when released are given new identities to
start a new life where no one knows what they previously have committed. They continue to live their
new lives in peace and contentment all while their victims and the families are left to suffer.
This is why minors the age of 10 to 17 year olds who commit serious crimes like murder, kidnapping,
rape, aggravated assault and armed robbery should be charged as adults. Today I am here to convince
you that this is (the right notion and the most effective to decrease crime rates?) They should be
charged as adults firstly as every child, teen and adult knows right from wrong, if they can do the
crime they can do the time. Secondly, ____ and finally_____
So you might be thinking that minors are not adults and do not have the intellectual or moral capacity
to understand the consequences of their actions or that their brains are not fully developed until at least
the age of 20, in addition they are more vulnerable and impulsive to negative influences and outside
pressures.

Breaking Bad Research Papers
I have developed an endless runner game for smartphones and tablets based on the hit television show,
Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad tells the story of Walter White, an ordinary chemistry teacher who finds
out that he has cancer and Jesse Pinkman, a local street gangster who befriends Walter. Both Walter
and Jesse decides to produce methamphetamine in order for Walter to pay for his medical bills and
support his family. With the added advantage of Walter s knowledge in chemistry, their product takes
off and they both turn to a life of crime and encounter dangerous events that changes their lives
forever. They come across various psychopaths. A mad drug lord named Tuco Salamanca, a no
nonsense authoritarian like meth distributor called Gustavo Fring and a white supremacist gang. As
Walter White gets into various criminal activities, he puts his life and his family s life in danger.
My concept for the game is a platform based endless runner for smartphones and tablets, not to be
confused for an endless runner in the third person perspective. The game will have the two main
characters playable at the start, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. As one progresses in game, they will
be able to unlock other characters such as Walter s brother in law Hank, Gustavo Fring, the iconic RV
from the show, Heisenberg (Walt s clandestine alias) and Saul Goodman, their lawyer who uses
unorthodox ways to get Walt and Jesse out of legal trouble. The reason I decided to make only two

Leadership As A Leader And A Manager Essay
Within a group, the member who fulfills the role of the leader will invariably have both a direct and
indirect effect on the group as a whole (Beattie, Girvan, Rayner, Rayner Bell, 2014). In the words of
John C. Maxwell: A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. Throughout
history, there have been a countless number of people that are identified as leaders. An effective leader
will possess the desired characteristics and will be able to assess a variety of tasks. According to
Dereli (2003), there are a number of definitions of leadership, and the literature suggests that there is a
distinction between a leader and a manager. Winston and Patterson (2006) state that leadership is
defined as one or more individuals, who are able to select a variety of strategies, and influence
followers to work towards a common goal or objective. Darr s (2011) research distinguishes managers
and leaders based on the idea that managers take on the caretaker role, whereby maintaining the status
quo. This can be identified as a transactional leadership role (Darr, 2011). Odumeru and Ifeanyi (2013)
state that the transactional role requires the individual to supervise and organise group performance.
Darr (2011) also states that in comparison to a manager, leaders are seen to be more as visionaries and
much more dynamic. Many leaders are viewed differently, because they possess or demonstrate
transformational leadership qualities and characteristics . Yukl (1999)

The Age Of Enlightenment, And Social Revolutions
The Age of Enlightenment attacked the churches on issues which have been continuously going on in
the past. Which sparked the revolutions, and created a drastic change in the way the people were
governed. The colonists demanded a change in their social structures because they were tired of
absolute monarchies, which were selfish and believed in the divine right to rule. Meaning that their
power was specifically given to them by God. Most rulers did little to nothing to actually make a
beneficial change for the people and instead invested most of their time to themselves, rather than
using the time to create new ways to get rid of economic crises. This lead for their people to become
extremely needy and used any chance of help that came to them. The Enlightenment was a period of
both hardships and social growth, which made the people s perspectives towards the world different,

Bicycle Thief Essay
The Bicycle Thief The Bicycle Thief is probably the best known and most highly praised of all the
Italian Neorealist films of its era. The films of the Neorealist movement were characterized by several
primary ideas. Instead of featuring stories focusing on glitz and glamour, Neorealist films focused on
the poor and the working class. Instead of building and fabricating complex sets to film on, they did
their filming on location. And instead of trying to get the most well known, highly paid celebrity
actors, they frequently used people that weren t even professional actors and had no training for their
starring roles. This all helped lend a sense of realism and weight to the stories. The Bicycle Thief takes

operating teams.
The jumbos were supplied to HCC by Sandvik India, whose senior engineer on site, Harish Pokharkar,
says that spare parts are supplied via the company s Pune headquarters.
The two Sandvik DX 700 surface drill rigs are being used around the two cavern shafts, where they
are undertaking vertical drilling for the benches that are being cut into the hillside.
Mr Pokharkar says that both machines are fitted with 45 mm R32 drill bits, with an R 38 shank
adapter and R 38 and R 32 drifter rods.
The DX 700s are drilling down to depths of 21 m, he says. We have a grinding facility for the drill bits
installed at the site, and we have recorded that by grinding we are achieving 30 percent extra life with
the bits.
We have also ascertained that machine availability has been slightly over 96 percent per month.
The crude oil cavern at Vizag is one of three such caverns planned by the Indian government, with a
storage capacity of five million . Two other caverns will be at Mangalore and Padur, with the crude
designed to act as a buffer in the event of emergencies or disruptions in supply. All three projects will
be operational by 2012.

Earth And Venus Similarities
There are a total of eight known planets in our solar system which consist of four inner and four outer
planets; the four inner planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, are known as the terrestrial planets
because not only are they the closest to the sun, but they are also Earth like, meaning that they are
similar to Earth s composition and structure ( What is a Terrestrial Planet? ). While these three planets
bare close similarities, the planet that closely resembles Earth is Venus. Known as the Sister Planets,
or the Twins, Earth and Venus are said to share close similarities in relation to their size, mass, density,
composition, and distance from the sun ( Venus Compared to Earth and Venus Information and Facts ).
However, as Matt Williams (2016) suggests, while these two planets may have been very similar early
in their existence, just as with most siblings, as time progressed, they began to change essentially
transforming into two distinct, individual planets, with very little in common. After the creation of the
solar system, 4.5 years ago, Venus, just as Earth, was said to have formed as gravity drew in a
whirlwind of dust and gas ( Earth In Depth; Venus In Depth ). Venus is the second planet from the sun
(67,237,910 miles away), and the only planet said to be named after a female the Roman goddess of
love and beauty ( Planet Venus Facts ). On the other hand, as the only planet in the solar system not
named after Greek and Roman gods or

Uniform Trade Secret Case
1) Calculating the price of winning bidder must pay. Would you seek patent protection, trade secret
protection, or both? What problems might you face in attempting to secure patent or trade secret
rights, and what advantage.
Trade secret regulation, unlike patent, copyright, and trademark law is an existence of state common
law, progressively regularized by adoption of the Uniform Trade Secret Act by state legislatures and
enactment by the Congress of the Electronic Theft (Riley, 2008). There is likely for competitive
advantage when someone has discovered or developed an original product or business process, but
innovation is not an independent requirement. Likewise, proof of asset in development of a trade
secret supports the twin implications ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Thus, if the case is handled by the jury, they are likely to find out that the former programmers had
misappropriated trade secrets, which they were using in their own products, and that they had violated
the restrictive covenants in their employment agreement. The court is likely not to prevent the sale of
the infringing software program.
4) Washington applies and that Washington has adopted the UTSA without modification, present an
argument that the competitor should be liable for trade secret misappropriation.
A trade secret loses its secret status if a competitor of the owner knows about it. Thus, the public as a
whole need not know about trade secret for it to cease being secret. For instance, if Coca Cola formula
is known to its competitors, the formula would lose its secret under the law, even if the competitor did
not disclose it to the public at large.
A person who engages in criminal conduct in order to take a trade secret will be found to have
engaged in improper means. For example, fraud, trespass, theft, bribery, and breaking and entering
building (Bundy et al, 2008). By the same symbol, the fact that trade secret misappropriation is a
crime in a given state does not mean that a defendant s improper means need constitute criminal

It gives a feeling of anguish and despair that cannot easily be healed. So Far Away is an alternative metal song performed by Avenged Sevenfold, and is a tribute to their deceased drummer James Owen Sullivan. It is of lyrical and thematic perfection, accompanied with expertly played instrumentals and powerful vocals that solidify capturing the feeling that comes with the loss of a loved one. This song is an impactful experience for anyone who listens, if they know of its purpose or not. It displays a message further beyond their tribute to James, and shows how loss affects everyone. This song was written shortly after the band s drummer passed away due to an intentional drug overdose. It was written entirely as a tribute to their late friend and how he was an important part in their lives. Three days before he passed, he wrote and recorded one last song named Fiction. This song was James suicide note, and was originally named Death. These two songs go hand in hand with one another and are both incredibly impactful on anybody. They show the suffering and pain that James went through in his late life, and his choice to end that pain. So Far Away not only displays these feelings of grief from the band, but also shows how somebody is appreciated in their own life. As it is shown that the rest of Avenged Sevenfold loved James wholeheartedly. This song shows how so many people genuinely care about each other, just as the band loved James. Many people believe that they have no worth in their life and that nobody cares about them. It reminds people how much they truly are worth, and how much people care about them. That is why, when the team held captain elections halfway through my first semester, I did not vote for myself, I was not on the team because I aspired to be a captain. And further more, when I received over 75% of the votes, I was shocked. I was one of the newest members of the team and I was not a vocal team member by any measure. Still, I accepted and we had a great year with a 6th place finish at nationals. It taught me that leadership is not something you choose, it chooses you. When choosing a captain the team wanted someone they could emulate and who s is motives they never had to question. I was a hard worker, and though I did not request it, my team started to align themselves behind me. From then on whether leadership was or was not the reason I was concerned with rowing, leadership became my responsibility out of immediate consequence of my personality. This turned out to be one of the most valuable lessons of my college career. Boston College Varsity Men s Rowing taught me leadership is never for or about the leader. It is about the team. This idea in mind, many of these techniques are designed to accommodate the coexistence of the two versions. The escalating requirement for wireless communication and broadband services has augmented the attempts to improve the designs for wireless systems. These enhanced wireless systems offer substantial increase in data throughput and link range without the requirement of any additional bandwidth. This led to the development of MIMO Systems. In Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology, multiple antennas are used at both the transmitter and receiver to improve the functioning of the wireless communication system. We accomplish this objective by exploiting the spatial domain of the transmission medium. In this chapter, we describe the MIMO system model along with a brief discussion of its ... An optimal detector should return as x ̂ = x*. 3.3 MIMO System Model The capacity of Single Input Single Output (SISO) wireless communication systems must be increased to fulfill the ever growing demands of efficient transmission rate. This can be done by allocating additional bandwidth which is not always feasible due to the limited spectral resources [Alamouti 1998]. Recent studies have proved that using spatial multiplexing MIMO systems can boost the capacity of a wireless communication system significantly without the prerequisite of extra bandwidth. Multipath propagation is an essential component of all wireless communication system. Conventional radio systems rely on the strong primary signal and also make use of multipath mitigation techniques to overcome multipath propagation and interference. Beam forming technology or smart antenna technology is used for this purpose. A smart antenna is capable of routing transmitted beam by scheming the phase of the signal at each element of the antenna array to the receiver. Receiving diversity, this uses numerous antennas at the receiver side and merges all the received signals to improve the signal reliability. These techniques are used to reduce the effect of multipath propagation on the communication systems. MIMO makes use of multipath propagation to get better throughput, range and reliability [Berrou 1996]. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These performances were all male based and showed very little involvement with women in the theatre. This is because women were not allowed to participate in the theatre. Some people might have been afraid, others might presume due to the social status, that it would be possibly foolish of them to do such a deed and frown upon them doing so. It correlated with the world of theatre since one has to understand what it was like in those times to be a woman and society s expectations. In Renaissance Italy, most women from the upper classes had only two options in life: marriage or the cloister (Victoria and Albert), so there were not many options for them when it came to what they wanted to do with their lives at that time. They really did not have a choice at all. Victoria and Albert Museum also discusses how different rankings of class during the renaissance played an effect on women s standards of living. As shown the upper class women had to either marry or join the cloister, or become a nun in translation, meanwhile they also were thought of as too high of a ranking in order to breast feed as well, as it was considered to be a job for the lower class women. even breast feeding was considered a job for a lower class woman, and babies from wealthy families were sent out to wet nurses. In other words, how well the body develops the vision and mission of their organization. I believe the significances of being the best is the team s approach to OD. some agencies fail to meet the demands of changes internally and externally. Business conditions do not remain the same year to year. Internal employee s needs and working conditions also change externally, the costumer s needs change from time to time too. Over the course of two days this escalated from: being sent home, to murdering his father and mother, to murdering 2 students and wounding 26, earning a lifetime sentence of 111 years and 8 months in prison. In the court case being examined, the presiding judge addresses the original case, defendants ground for appeal, and the justification for the State s decision to deny the appeal. Judge Haselton effectively uses ethos, logos, and pathos to support the Higher Court s decision to deny the appeal because the original sentence was constitutional and just. Summary In State of Oregon v. Kipland Kinkel, Judge Haselton summarizes the decision to deny Kinkel s appeal of his sentencing. Kinkel was sentenced by the Lower Court to 111 years and 8 months for the confession of 4 murders and 25 accounts of attempted murder. Several medical personal and parents testified against Kinkel at the hearing stating that, he is and remains dangerous, (para. 15). The defense s grounds for appeal consist of the sentencing being cruel and unusual and that the protection of society was considered more than reformation. The higher court denied it was cruel and unusual because it did not shock the conscience. The presiding judge also denied that reformation was of higher significance than the protection of society because there were multiple victims affected in a public setting. I tell what ought to be the truth ) to the extent that veracity itself is disintegrated unconsciously into her inner deceptive conflict of illusion and reality. Williams externalises this conflict in the typification of Blanche and Stanley as Nietzsche s Apollonian Dionysian dialectic in the inevitable destruction of Blanche in her lies, coerced by women s suffering due to the onslaught of patriarchy. Back to secrets and lies The deaths that Blanche suffers engender her characterisation as the Apollonian in her world of delusion and lies. Allan s suicide becomes the first of Blanche s traumatic encounters with death ( All of those deaths! The long parade to the graveyard ) embodying in her personified monologue the imminence of death ( Why, the Grim Reaper had put up his tent on our doorstep! ). Further, this necrophobia and her guilt for Allan s suicide, elicited by the leitmotif Varsouviana provokes her deterioration into her fantasy as a substratum of her anguish, becoming the epitome of the Apollonian. Anxiety (Social Phobia) Anxiety disorders affect more than 40 million adults in the U.S., with about 15 million of those suffering from acute social phobia, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. The drug, which has a unique mechanism of action, is administered in an intranasal spray and acts with rapid onset on peripheral receptors from nasal chemosensory neurons that act on the hypothalamic limbic system in the brain, which is thought to be the primary center of emotion. In clinical trials, it was shown to improve social performance and social interaction anxiety within 10 minutes of administration. Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) ADHD is one of the most common reasons children in the United States are referred for mental health services and affects as many as one in every 20 children, according to Mental Health America. A potential medicine in development for ADHD is an agonist of neuronal nicotinic receptors (NNR). NNRs serve as key regulators of nervous system functions. When certain neurotransmitters bind to an NNR, the receptor normalizes chemical signaling in the brain, allowing neurons to communicate properly. This results in increased signaling when the nervous system is under stimulated and decreased signaling when the nervous system is overstimulated. A new drug with a nonstimulant mechanism of ... The American scheme for containment of German forces at Faid was centered upon the key terrain features of Djebel Ksaira to the south and Djebel Lessouda to the north. Artillery observation posts on both hills provided visual coverage of the exits from Faid Pass and of the road from Maknassy to the south. The goal is to identify which is the same line A, B, or C and the answer was always obvious. The task is simple, but a person will be the only real participant in the room while the seven others are confederates who were pretending to be participants and who were trying to use social pressure to get the participant to conform with the majority group. For example, if the real answer was A, the confederates would try to throw off the real participant by saying the answer is B. With the majority saying B is the correct answer, the real participant would agree with them, even knowing the answer is wrong because everyone else didn t say A. Dictators where chosen by the consuls and elected by the senate (Beck, pg. 157). An advantage of an authoritarian monarchy is that it unified china. A disadvantage is that it took away the people?s freedom. An advantage of a benevolent monarchy/tyrant is that the people would not rebel because they were treated fairly. An advantage of theocracy in Israel was that people did not commit crimes a lot because doing so would violate their religion. One of the problems with this government is that the leader could have too much power. That could lead to revolts like it did with King Solomon. An advantage of a confederacy was that it allowed small city states to defend themselves against big empires. A disadvantage is that one state may gain too much power. Depicting the Various Traits and Characteristics of Leadership in Literature When discussing any triumphant or flourishing organization or institution, the main attribute which will always surface when examining the true fabric of what allows a particular organization or institution to excel, will always be leadership. Leadership is portrayed at its pinnacle in William Bratton s Turnaround, Rudolph Giuliani s book Leadership, Oren Harari s book The Leadership Secrets of Colin Powell, and David Lipsky s book Absolutely American: Four Years at West Point. He knew he was given the number one police job in the country as the commissioner of the NYPD, and he was ready. He knew that nothing would be possible without the support of his police officers. Morale was one of the big reasons that the NYPD was so run down upon Bratton s arrival. He set out to the 103rd precinct in Queens to let them know that things are about to change. Bratton carefully selected this precinct as the one he would utilize in making his initial presence felt. Morale was exceptionally low in this precinct due to the murder of Officer Ed Byrne. In February of 1988 Officer Byrne was sitting in his patrol car guarding the home of a man who had informed on a drug dealer when he was shot to death by drug dealers. That was a vicious indicator of the life and times of police officers during that era, and Bratton knew it. As Bratton s first official act as police commissioner, he stood in front of the 103 and began: I said when I took this job that we would take this city back for the good people that live here, neighborhood by neighborhood, block by block, house by house. But I m going to need your help in doing that. I m going to need all of you in the game. I want my cops to be cops. I want them to be assertive. In today s society, when people are asked the question what are your hopes for the world , many automatically respond with achieving world peace and this is a great dream, but it is just a dream, not reality. People have begun to fight for world peace without thinking rationally about what it means because world wide conflict has become a very substantial conflict in the world today. • 34. Loyalty Between Loyalty And Loyalty The concept of loyalty comes in many different forms, and can also be defined in multiple ways by different types of people. On the other hand, loyalty can also be viewed as a virtue that may be hard to define at times. Loyalty is something that every living being has. A dog is loyal to his owner because they provide the dog with food, shelter, and love. A kid is loyal to their parents for keeping them alive and well. Even though loyalty can be tested at times, the people who are there from the beginning will still be there at the end, if their loyalty really stands true. This shows that even with the knowledge of the abundant money that he was going to turn down, Pat had no doubts about turning down the offer by the Rams. He chose to stay loyal to his team, rather than going to a new team that had more to offer him. Pat valued his team more than he valued money. He saw that the Cardinals believed in him and that they were there for him since the start. No amount of money could be offered to him to make him leave his team. Some may argue that misplaced loyalty is a form of loyalty, while others do not see it as that, but rather something that is opposite to loyalty. The definition of misplaced loyalty is loyalty that is not acknowledged or respected. Most often or not, this type of loyalty can lead to betrayal or being taken advantage of and can also put one s self respect, integrity, and sanity at risk. Who are these criminals you might ask, and what makes them so special? Good morning___ and welcome to _____. So I will tell you who they are, they are people like you and me, juveniles under the age of 18 who commit atrocious adult crimes but are still tried in juvenile courts. They not only get off with shortened sentences but when released are given new identities to start a new life where no one knows what they previously have committed. They continue to live their new lives in peace and contentment all while their victims and the families are left to suffer. This is why minors the age of 10 to 17 year olds who commit serious crimes like murder, kidnapping, rape, aggravated assault and armed robbery should be charged as adults. Today I am here to convince you that this is (the right notion and the most effective to decrease crime rates?) They should be charged as adults firstly as every child, teen and adult knows right from wrong, if they can do the crime they can do the time. Secondly, ____ and finally_____ So you might be thinking that minors are not adults and do not have the intellectual or moral capacity to understand the consequences of their actions or that their brains are not fully developed until at least the age of 20, in addition they are more vulnerable and impulsive to negative influences and outside pressures. ... Breaking Bad tells the story of Walter White, an ordinary chemistry teacher who finds out that he has cancer and Jesse Pinkman, a local street gangster who befriends Walter. Both Walter and Jesse decides to produce methamphetamine in order for Walter to pay for his medical bills and support his family. With the added advantage of Walter s knowledge in chemistry, their product takes off and they both turn to a life of crime and encounter dangerous events that changes their lives forever. They come across various psychopaths. A mad drug lord named Tuco Salamanca, a no nonsense authoritarian like meth distributor called Gustavo Fring and a white supremacist gang. As Walter White gets into various criminal activities, he puts his life and his family s life in danger. My concept for the game is a platform based endless runner for smartphones and tablets, not to be confused for an endless runner in the third person perspective. The game will have the two main characters playable at the start, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. As one progresses in game, they will be able to unlock other characters such as Walter s brother in law Hank, Gustavo Fring, the iconic RV from the show, Heisenberg (Walt s clandestine alias) and Saul Goodman, their lawyer who uses unorthodox ways to get Walt and Jesse out of legal trouble. Leadership As A Leader And A Manager Essay Within a group, the member who fulfills the role of the leader will invariably have both a direct and indirect effect on the group as a whole (Beattie, Girvan, Rayner, Rayner Bell, 2014). In the words of John C. Maxwell: A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. Throughout history, there have been a countless number of people that are identified as leaders. An effective leader will possess the desired characteristics and will be able to assess a variety of tasks. According to Dereli (2003), there are a number of definitions of leadership, and the literature suggests that there is a distinction between a leader and a manager. Winston and Patterson (2006) state that leadership is defined as one or more individuals, who are able to select a variety of strategies, and influence followers to work towards a common goal or objective. Darr s (2011) research distinguishes managers and leaders based on the idea that managers take on the caretaker role, whereby maintaining the status quo. This can be identified as a transactional leadership role (Darr, 2011). Odumeru and Ifeanyi (2013) state that the transactional role requires the individual to supervise and organise group performance. Darr (2011) also states that in comparison to a manager, leaders are seen to be more as visionaries and much more dynamic. Many leaders are viewed differently, because they possess or demonstrate transformational leadership qualities and characteristics . Yukl (1999) ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The films of the Neorealist movement were characterized by several primary ideas. Instead of building and fabricating complex sets to film on, they did their filming on location. Earth And Venus Similarities There are a total of eight known planets in our solar system which consist of four inner and four outer planets; the four inner planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, are known as the terrestrial planets because not only are they the closest to the sun, but they are also Earth like, meaning that they are similar to Earth s composition and structure ( What is a Terrestrial Planet? ). While these three planets bare close similarities, the planet that closely resembles Earth is Venus. Known as the Sister Planets, or the Twins, Earth and Venus are said to share close similarities in relation to their size, mass, density, composition, and distance from the sun ( Venus Compared to Earth and Venus Information and Facts ). However, as Matt Williams (2016) suggests, while these two planets may have been very similar early in their existence, just as with most siblings, as time progressed, they began to change essentially transforming into two distinct, individual planets, with very little in common.
