or simply observed during daily activities. The few types of violence that are most prominent in
today s society are physical, sexual, psychological, emotional, and domestic violence. Domestic
violence is one of the most problematic and dangerous forms of violence that exist due to the
detrimental effects it has on the individuals directly involved, children who witness these acts of
violence, and society as a whole. Both men and women can be victims of domestic abuse,
however, Safe Horizon states that, 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence during her

My Life In My Senior Year Of High School
One event that was lifechanging for me was my senior year of high school I decided to be a part of
the Every 15 Minutes Program. This was a two day program that included juniors and seniors to
help prevent their peers from drinking and driving on the night of Prom. On the first day of this
program, every fifteen minutes that passed on the clock, the intercom would come on throughout
the entire school to announce that someone had died . This announcement would start with an
introduction that read, Every fifteen minutes someone dies due to a drinking and drivingaccident
and then they would say the name of the individual who has just died. After this took place, the
grim reaper would go into the classroom, in which the student who had died , and he would state

(BDAE) is designed as a comprehensive measure of aphasia (Loss of the ability to understand or
express speech). The test consists of multiple subtests instruments for investing a broad range of
language impairments that are common consequences of brain damage. Subscales on the test
include fluency, auditory comprehension, naming, oral reading, repetition, automatic speech,
reading comprehension and writing. BDAE is used on an adult population (18 60+) with stroke or
communication and language impairments. The languages available for this measure include

The BDEA can be used by neurologists, psychologists, speech language pathologists and
occupational therapists. Testing can take from 90 to 120 minutes to administer for the standard

Homeless Organization
Some people might think that the people living on the streets don t have a home because they didn
t make use of opportunities while they could. Even though that may be true for some, others didn t
have the best childhood and didn t have the money to go to school and be successful. I am here to
give them a second chance and renew themselves. I am creating an organization to build tiny homes
for the homeless. I have done some research about different tiny homes communities. There are
several in the US that have wanted to house the homeless, but none have specifically wanted to
create an organization and expand. One is located in Austin, Texasand they serve the homeless food
with a food truck. My goal is to be able to expand from Texas and go into surrounding states as
well. There are roughly 565,000 homeless people in the US that need our help, 20,000 of those are

My solution is to spread the word about the organization by putting out flyers, maybe asking the
newspaper to put an ad in, and making a website to gain awareness and to spread the word
everywhere not just in our small town. Sponsors don t have to be just big companies; it can be
locals who want to support us. I was thinking we should have a donation box where you can
donate supplies, furniture, appliances, and even toys and clothes for the kids. Getting furniture
