ABSTRACT
• Plinth area = 5,070 sq.ft
• Rate per sq.ft = 1700 per sq.ft
• Total cost = 2.85 crores
This project deals with the planning, analysis and design of four
storeyed commercial building with Reinforced concrete frame
structure.
• In this project a plan for the commercial building is suggested.
Multi storey frame analysis and design has been carried out.
The rooms and other amenities are provided based on the
guidelines given by National building code 2005
• Commercial building having the plinth area of 5070 Sq.ft .
The present rate is Rs. 1700 /- per Sq.ft. The total estimation of
the building is calculated approximately about Rs. 2.85 crores.
• The analysis of multi storeyed frame is done by using
STADD PRO software. The design of slabs ,beams, columns
and footings are carried out by Limit State Method as per code
recommendations of IS – 456 2000, SP16 – 1978 and IS875
INTRODUCTION
• A restuarant should be planned to make it economical and to meet all
requirement of customers.
• This commercial building is designed that the standard sizes
• The commercial building is 5070 sq.ft with all amenities.
• The building is planned to build in Dharapuram town area near bus stand
facing towards South
• The reason to build in Dharapuram,because it is being main junction for
major cities like Tirupur,Coimbatore,Erode,Dindigul
The proposed commercial building consist of gift shop ,
children play arena , party hall with 500 seats , and city view
restaurant and other amenities of four storey R.C.C frame
construction having the total plinth area 5070 Sq.ft as
detailed below:
• Ground floor : 5070 Sq ft
• First floor : 3266 Sq ft
• Second floor : 3266 Sq ft
• Third floor : 2996 Sq ft
• Total area :14598 Sq ft
SCOPE
 The main scope of this project is to build a commercial building for
peoples belong to Dharapuram and its surrounding area
 Our building has to be build to satisfy all requirements of a modern
generation and culture.
 The rooms and other amenities has to be provided as per NBC 2005
provisions.
 The analysis and design has to be carried out as per IS 456-2000, SP 16-
1980 and IS 875 code provisions.
 The planning is made keeping the concept of adequate spacing and
maximum utilization of the plinth area.
OBJECTIVE
 The room has to be designed as specious, ventilation and air circulation for the comfort
of the customers.
 The joineries and other openings are provided as per NBC code provisions.
 The area of party hall , gift shop , children play arena , restaurant and other rooms are
decided as per NBC code provisions.
 The circulation area, emergency exits stairs are provided as per NBC code provisions.
 The fire extinguishers, fire alarms and other amenities has to be provided as per
requirements.
 The elevation of the structure has to be simple, neat and elegant by providing suitable
projections , glass works.
 Suitable security arrangements, compound walls are provided for safety requirements.

CONCLUSION
• A Three storey R.C.C framed structure is designed as a school building.
• Analysis of the frame is carried out by STADD PRO software.
• The design adopted is limit state method M2O grade of concrete and
Fe415 grade of steel are used.
• All structural elements are designed as under reinforced section.
• The design of slabs, beams, column and footing were done.
• All the drawing presented in this project report was drafted using Auto
CAD.
• The beams have been designed by taking maximum bending moment of
analysis results.
• The restaurant building will be beneficial to the people in and around
the city.

  • 3. ABSTRACT • Plinth area = 5,070 sq.ft • Rate per sq.ft = 1700 per sq.ft • Total cost = 2.85 crores This project deals with the planning, analysis and design of four storeyed commercial building with Reinforced concrete frame structure.
  • 4. • In this project a plan for the commercial building is suggested. Multi storey frame analysis and design has been carried out. The rooms and other amenities are provided based on the guidelines given by National building code 2005 • Commercial building having the plinth area of 5070 Sq.ft . The present rate is Rs. 1700 /- per Sq.ft. The total estimation of the building is calculated approximately about Rs. 2.85 crores. • The analysis of multi storeyed frame is done by using STADD PRO software. The design of slabs ,beams, columns and footings are carried out by Limit State Method as per code recommendations of IS – 456 2000, SP16 – 1978 and IS875

INTRODUCTION • A restuarant should be planned to make it economical and to meet all requirement of customers. • This commercial building is designed that the standard sizes • The commercial building is 5070 sq.ft with all amenities. • The building is planned to build in Dharapuram town area near bus stand facing towards South • The reason to build in Dharapuram,because it is being main junction for major cities like Tirupur,Coimbatore,Erode,Dindigul

The proposed commercial building consist of gift shop , children play arena , party hall with 500 seats , and city view restaurant and other amenities of four storey R.C.C frame construction having the total plinth area 5070 Sq.ft as detailed below: • Ground floor : 5070 Sq ft • First floor : 3266 Sq ft • Second floor : 3266 Sq ft • Third floor : 2996 Sq ft • Total area :14598 Sq ft
  • 7. SCOPE  The main scope of this project is to build a commercial building for peoples belong to Dharapuram and its surrounding area  Our building has to be build to satisfy all requirements of a modern generation and culture.  The rooms and other amenities has to be provided as per NBC 2005 provisions.  The analysis and design has to be carried out as per IS 456-2000, SP 16- 1980 and IS 875 code provisions.  The planning is made keeping the concept of adequate spacing and maximum utilization of the plinth area.
  • 8. OBJECTIVE  The room has to be designed as specious, ventilation and air circulation for the comfort of the customers.  The joineries and other openings are provided as per NBC code provisions.  The area of party hall , gift shop , children play arena , restaurant and other rooms are decided as per NBC code provisions.  The circulation area, emergency exits stairs are provided as per NBC code provisions.  The fire extinguishers, fire alarms and other amenities has to be provided as per requirements.  The elevation of the structure has to be simple, neat and elegant by providing suitable projections , glass works.  Suitable security arrangements, compound walls are provided for safety requirements.

CONCLUSION • A Three storey R.C.C framed structure is designed as a school building. • Analysis of the frame is carried out by STADD PRO software. • The design adopted is limit state method M2O grade of concrete and Fe415 grade of steel are used. • All structural elements are designed as under reinforced section. • The design of slabs, beams, column and footing were done. • All the drawing presented in this project report was drafted using Auto CAD. • The beams have been designed by taking maximum bending moment of analysis results. • The restaurant building will be beneficial to the people in and around the city.
