WHAT IS DESIGN THINKING?
 Design thinking is a human centered and collaborative approach to problem solving, using a designed
mindset to solve complex problems.
 Design thinking process starts with getting a deep insight into the user needs and wants.
 Analyze the gathered data and identify rare problems.
 Create innovative solutions to address these problems.

Answer :
EMPATHIZE
 Empathy is the centerpiece of a human-centered design
process. The Empathize mode is the work you do to understand
people, within the context of your design challenge. For
example
 A team of experts meet the users and try to find out their
concerns.
 Observe, monitor or empathize with users to understand their
expectations, feelings and pain points.
DEFINE
 The Define mode of the design process is all about bringing clarity and focus
to the design space. It is your chance, and responsibility, as a design thinker
to define the challenge you are taking on, based on what you have learned
about your user and about the context.
 Put together all the gathered information, analyze, observe and synthesize it
to define core problems.
 Define the problem in a human-cantered way to solve human problems

ANSWER
Ideate
 Generate ideas and new solutions to the problems.
 Have as many as possible ideas to begin with.
 Using ideation techniques, investigate or test the ideas to find best possible
solution

Prototyping
 Create conceptual prototypes of the product to investigate possible solutions.
 Investigate different aspects of the problem and explore how each prototype
would fix the problem.
 Here, you will have better idea of users’ behaviors, feelings and expectations.
Prototype Testing
 Test the selected prototypes with real users and internal stakeholders.
 Observe how well they handle the identified problems.
 By the end of this step, you would get an idea whether the solution is
accepted, needs improvement, re-examined or completely rejected.
Design Thinking Process
Wrapping Up
 In today’s digital world, it is highly critical for businesses to adopt new
technologies, transform their business models and create new value system.
 It is also difficult to create a successful ecosystem and thrive in highly
competitive market.
 Design thinking is an effective tool to tackle this problem that this transition
brings up
Why Design Thinking is Needed ?
 Innovation is positive change. Innovation is moving forward and responding to
the massive amounts of change we are encountering.
 In order to thrive as a company and/or individual, positive change and
forward movement are key.
 Design thinking helps us to be more successful with our change by designing
for and with the people we create our products, services, and programs…our
customers and users.
