Design thinking is a user-centered way to conceive and create a successful product. Design Thinking is a methodology used by designers to solve complex problems, and find desirable solutions for clients. A design mindset is not problem-focused, it’s solution focused and action oriented towards creating a preferred future. Design Thinking draws upon logic, imagination, intuition, and systemic reasoning, to explore possibilities of what could be—and to create desired outcomes that benefit the end user (the customer)

Design thinking

It involves empathizing with people's needs, collaborating with others from different backgrounds, including all ideas for consideration, and repeatedly testing solutions to refine them with user needs in mind. The design thinking process moves from defining a challenge to developing a solution in an iterative cycle between problem space and solution space. Various organizations approach design thinking through similar stages of empathizing, ideating, prototyping, and testing, while employing methods and tools to gather insights and generate ideas.
How Design Thinking will fix Design Thinking
1. Design thinking has been misperceived as only involving designers when it actually requires interdisciplinary teams across design, business, and technology disciplines.
2. Effective product teams have design, business, and technology leads working together, with the design discipline playing a transversal role rather than being dissolved into other areas.
3. Experience metrics are now part of product key performance indicators to measure user behavior and experience, alongside traditional business and technology metrics.

- Empathy We can imagine the world with multiple perspective. Those are colleagues, clients, end users, and also customers. By taking a people first approach, design thinkers can seek a solution that are desirable. Great design thinkers be able to observe the problem just for a few of minutes. 2. Integrative Thinking Great design thinkers not only thinking of analytical processes, but also the ability to see all of significant. 3. Optimism They assume no matter how challenging the constraints of a given problem, at least one potential solution is better than the existing alternatives. 4. Experimentalism Significant innovations don’t come from incremental tweaks. Design thinkers pose a hypotheses and explore constraints in creative ways that proceed in entirely new directions. 5. Collaboration Many of design thinkers have significant experience in more than one disciplines. The people who work are can be from multiple disciplines, for example : engineers, marketers, anthropologist, industrial designers, architects, psychologist, etc.
