This document presents a design for a primary wastewater treatment plant for Qamar Sialvi Colony in Gujrat, Pakistan. It discusses the objectives of designing the primary treatment plant and removing settleable solids. It also provides details on the components and working of a bio film reactor that could be used, including grit removal, sedimentation, gravel layers, and discharging treated water. The advantages of this system include removing pathogens and contaminants from water in a way that is easy to operate and maintain using locally available materials.
