change the world in all spheres
tremendously.
Any organisation, to have worldwide
service, it needs website.

4. With help of website one can get
publicity as well as market their products.
Within no time all latest information can be update in the
website.
Website classification
• commercial and
• open source (or) otherwise called as free sites.
In earlier time, the design and development of website were
done by only technical professional.

5. Almost all educational institution in India have official
website.
In most of the institution, they provide limited space
for each department.
So complete details about a particular department is
very rare phenomena.
Hence each department may have separate website.

6. Before creating the website certain preliminary works
has to be completed.
Initially compile all information (data) related to the
department in a word document.
Photo’s can also be kept in separate file.
Before finalizing the data it is better to have wider
discussion among the faculty members.

7. Then categories the data available under the
following heading
HOME
ABOUT US
COURSE OFFERED
FACULTY
ACTIVITIES
FACILITIES
ACHIEVEMENTS
PHOTO GALLERY
FEEDBACK
FORMS DOWNLOAD
CONTACT etc.

8. First types www.webnode.com in the blank web page and
Click ENTER button.
It will reach login page, as shown in the Figure-I.
Then Click ‘Personal website’ in the login page.
Then details are to be filled in three columns available in the
login page namely Website address, E-mail address and
Password.
After providing those details, one has to click ‘Sign-up’
button.

10. It will reach next stage, as shown in the
Figure-II.
There will 3 steps in this stage.
Step-I Choose kind of your webpage
Step-2 Select your design template
Step-3 Select concrete pages to create

11. In Step-I stage select ‘Personal website’ and type the ‘Website
name’ column as you wish then click ‘Continue’ button.

12. In the step-II stage, selection of website template is to done,
from available templates in the website and clicking of
‘Continue’ is to be followed to reach the next stage.

13. In the next stage Registration wizard will appear on the
screen.
In step-III, do not select any pages in this page, and then click
‘Finish’ button.

14. At this stage the website page will appear in the screen.
