This internship report summarizes Kim Jeongwoo's internship at Baguio Korean Association of Northern Luzon Philippines Inc. (BKA). As an intern, Kim assisted clients, developed BKA's website using Bootstrap and Github, and helped visitors with documents like visas and passports. Kim learned skills like listening to clients, using shortcuts to work efficiently in MS Word and Excel, and getting help from other programmers when developing the website. For future interns, Kim recommends attending technology seminars and always being helpful, smiling, and doing their best for clients.

3. I. Background of the Company / Company Profile
Baguio Korean Association of Northern Luzon Philippines Inc., also known
as BKA, It is a two-man commission attached to United Korean Community
Association in the Philippines
BKA Philippines Inc., is a Baguio City based Supports/Helps people in every
Area that starts in 2013. BKA is founded by Sangyong Kang, Wonmuk Shin.
Sangyong Kang and Wonmuk Shin are from Korean church, they started
company with faith and mind of volunteer and this is still motivation of this
company. Now, they went back to church in Korea and keep supporting as in
finance and otherwise
II. Practicum Program
The following are the function and responsibilities given to us as interns by
our Supervisors:
Web Development– Assisting client with their needs. Developing their own
website, showing their accomplishments and announcement to coming. As a
supporter of Baguio City, let people know about BKA Company to have favors
and supports
Vicarious Agency – Creating a document forms and applications to be
passed to the embassy and immigration. The things about VISA and Passport are
all supported.
III. Technical and Soft Skills Learned

From the first day that I came to Baguio Korean Association Inc., (BKA) I
have learned how to react to corporation. In addition, listen first before you
react or before you do the task given to you. My supervisor taught me how I
face to the clients; first, I shall stand up and ask them purpose of visit next, treat
them coffee or tea. Our company is on service providing, so clients must not
have inconvenient and all of that are from my attitude.

4. Most of tasks were creating a document with excels and MS word. My
supervisor taught me some tips and shortcut keys; this made work faster and
saved time for wasted.

Rest time after vicarious agency, I started developing websites the basic
skills I have learned from class, I used Bootstrap and Github to build frame of
website.

5. To publish website, I used online server as a host. In this area, the supervisor
was not able to give direct advisement, but she introduce me who was worked
as programmer, whenever I stuck in process, he helped me as elder programmer.
IV. Recommendations for further improvement of the Company’s Internship
Program. (If any)
As intern, one of the good recommendations is that if the IT employees of
the government will have a seminar that involves technology. It would be a
good opportunity for you to be with. Ask them if you can joined that seminar and
tell them that you are interested for them to think that you are very interested.
V. Advise to future interns
I advise to the future intern in Professional Regulation Commission you
should be:
- Come before superior come.
- Do your best as you can.
- Always keep your smile.
- There are so many clients who don’t know how to follow
instructions.
- Enjoy every moment.
