They should gain 24-30 pounds total, with slower weight gain at first and steady weekly gains later in pregnancy. Proper nutrition is crucial for the health of the mother and developing fetus.
Miscarriage & stillbirth
Miscarriage is the loss of pregnancy before 20 weeks and is often caused by chromosomal abnormalities in the early embryo. Recurrent miscarriage, occurring more than once, is less likely due to random chromosomal issues and may be caused by structural uterine problems, blood clotting disorders, chromosomal disorders, hormonal imbalances, or immune system malfunctions. Stillbirth occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy and can result from cervical weakness, placental problems, or preterm labor, with 24 weeks often being the minimum gestation for infant survival.
Heredity
Identical twins occur when a single fertilized egg splits into two embryos, while fraternal twins develop from two separate eggs fertilized by different sperm. Conjoined twins result when an egg begins to split like identical twins but fails to completely separate, causing the embryos to share parts of the body. Heredity plays a large role in determining physical traits that are passed down from parents to children through genes and chromosomes. Factors like genetics and environment can also impact prenatal development and may cause birth defects.
Early pregnancy

The two major classifications are hot and cold. the hot desert is a land of extreme. extreme heat and extreme dryness sudden flash floods and cold nights. At night the temperature drops to 40 are 50 degrees The main form of precipitation in a hot desert is rain. But the hot desert only gets ten inches or less of rain per year. That’s a little bit. The main form of precipitation in a cold desert is either snow or fog. Most deserts are found in the mountain areas .

- 11. animals Desert animals must survive a harsh and hostile environment. Many animals never drink water but can get there water from seeds and plants. Many of the animals are nocturnal. In some instances some animals wont come out of the ground for their whole life. An example of this is a Spadefoot toad which spends nine months in the ground.
