The Internet Becomes the Go-To Place for New Patients
The results were nearly unanimous: 50% of dental patients research their dentist online before booking an
appointment, while only 9% would reference the Yellow Pages.

Believe it or not your existing patients and new patients prefer alternative forms of communication. Of the survey
respondents 57% prefer email and 11% prefer SMS text via their mobile device for appointment confirmations.

                                 94% of the respondents take a dentists website into account before booking
                                 their first appointment. Dentists whose websites are interactive and up to date
                                 have a higher chance of securing a new patient.

               63%               But it doesn’t end at your website... We also asked people if they would be

                                 means that dentists who have an interactive Facebook Page are more likely to
