Mr. Abdul Waheed is a development worker with Ten years of professional work experience in
designing, managing, monitoring and evaluation of the programmes, General Administration,
Marketing, Linkages Building, Coordination, Capacity Building, Disaster Management, Livelihood
interventions, Governance, Advocacy and Accountability initiatives with integrating DRR approach i.e.

programme in accordance with Organization’s policies, prepare and monitor programme budgets in
consultation with finance team, prepare quality reports and presentations, prepare programme
proposals for submission to potential donors and organization, data collection and presentation for the
development of new proposals, manage the relevant aspects of the programme according to the
programme design, ensuring Organization and partner organizations are meeting their commitments
under partnership agreements and as per donor guidelines, prepare Project Agreements and RFPs for
announcement, manage, supervise and support Organization programme staff using performance
monitoring and appraisal tools yearly, identify programme staffing needs and assist in the recruitment
of programme personnel, incorporate capacity building of programme staff and contribute positively in
Senior Management Team meetings by providing input for strategic planning as required and any
other task assigned by the management.
He is expert in Institutional Capacity Building, Planning & Implementation, Coordination, Reporting,
Donors Relations & Compliance, Operational Management (Budgeting & Financial Management) &
also remained involved in Emergencies and Early Recovery interventions like Non Food Items, WASH,
Child Protection, Shelter, Education, and Emergency Food Security & livelihood interventions and
Governance and advocacy initiatives with multi-donors like WATER AID, UKAID, OFDA,USAID,
ECHO, UNHCR, UNOCHA, Plan, USAID, UNDP, CIDA and Affiliates.

I am responsible for managing Accessible Health Services and WASH Program, the objective is to
rehabilitate the Flood affected BHUs infrastructure and make them friendly and accessible for PWDs &
OP, Capacity building of Health staff , Formation of DPOs/OP, BMC, VHC & VDC and advocacy
initiatives.

Project Management:
 Provided leadership and oversight to staff in all aspects of Project Planning, Implementation,
Monitoring and Reporting.
 Ensured compliance with Partner policy, adherence to established schedules, and completion
of work plans in accordance with deadlines established for project.
 Monitor the evolving humanitarian situation in the project region and consider strategic and

Logistics/Finance/Administration:

 Monitored expenditures, developed budget forecasts; verify budget surpluses and deficits to

 Provided timely compliance with financial procedures, reporting and auditing requirements.
 Periodical review the expenses against budget and recommend realignments in budget based
on the ground situation analysis of the teams and partner.
 Ensure that all purchase is completed with due time for smooth operations.
 Ensure that all vehicles, inventory and supplies are well managed for operations.
Human Resource Management:
 Conducted Training Need Assessment of all Staff members and designed appropriate training
plan.
 Responsible for staff selection, recruitment, disciplinary, and dismissal procedures and
systems.
 Ensured the safety and well-being of all team members.
 Support team members professionally and monitor and support stress management, including
regular documented team meetings for planning and reporting purposes.
 Undertake regular appraisals of directly supervised colleagues and pass appraisal forms to the
HR Administrator with recommendations (new position, changes to contract or salary etc.)
 Ensure that timesheets leave records, insurance details and contract extensions and timely
administrated by the HR section.
Monitoring, Documentation and Reporting:
 Prepare and update work plans and resources needed for the social mobilization & capacity
building activities on regular basis in close coordination with the Program Manager.
 Supervise the implementation of all activities and ensure standard reporting procedures and
partner compliance are adhered in all project activities.
