Week: 2 (January 29- February 2) Learning Area: MATHEMATICS 10
MELC: 1. Illustrates permutation of objects.
*Illustrates the Fundamental Counting Principle through a tree diagram or by listing method.
*Uses FCP to visualize the possible number of arrangements.
*Solve factorial notation.
Performance Standards: The learner is able to use precise counting technique and probability in formulating conclusions and making decisions.

*Activity:
“Domino Effect”
Students will be grouped into 5, then will be given the domino
tiles. The goal is to line up (arrange) the tiles on the floor, the
fastest and the farthest (longest). After measuring the length of
the arrangement, then the will have to push the first tile so that
the rest of the tiles will have to fall (affected) up to the end.
*Guide Questions:
What did you do to achieve your goal?
Why do you think some group did not succeed?
*Reflection:
On a sheet of paper, answer the ff. questions
1. What insights have you learned in the activity?
2. What should a group possess in order to achieve
your group goal?
