Central Texas Discover Engineering has a steering committee that oversees five subcommittees focused on operations, sponsorship/fundraising, volunteers, school visits, and community outreach. Each subcommittee is chaired by a steering committee member and meets as needed to carry out responsibilities like developing budgets, communicating with volunteers and schools, and coordinating fundraising and community events to achieve the organization's mission of inspiring local students to pursue STEM careers.
