Carpenter and Boyle received the IMA's Lybrand Bronze Medal, while Mahoney received a Certificate of Appreciation. The manuscript was the third highest ranking in the IMA's Lybrand Competition for 2013. All three professors have extensive experience in accounting and have received numerous teaching and research awards.
