The books I decided on checking out included the titles Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi
Adichie and Noughts Crosses by Malorie Blackman. I have been interested in these particular novels
for quite some time since they were on my summer reading list. These books were on my list because
I enjoy stories that discuss race. Needless to say, I never had the chance to read either book for various
reasons. Entering the DePaul library, I was not looking for any specific title. I remembered my

encompasses the beauty and importance of the natural world through many individuals experiences.
Tsukiyama expresses the belief that humans need help from an outside force, so that they can be

theme that in order to heal, people need nature; she accomplishes this through her use of Sachi, Matsu,

changed for the residents.
The Berlin and Waterloo Street Railway Company was established in 1886 and finally opened its
railway in 1888. The original line ran along King Street to Cedar Street (now known as Bridgeport
Road) and also branched out to the Grand Trunk Railway Station. The line spanned about 4km and
