Gun control laws should go even further, restricting gun ownership only to people
who go through gun handling classes, extensive background checks, permits, and
liability insurance. It should be harder to get a gun than it is to get a driver s

driving test, and have proof of insurance.
People who are against gun control often cite the 2nd Amendment. The claim is that
the 2nd Amendment gives them unfettered right to own guns. I disagree. The 2nd

State . I interpret that as the government being able to supply guns to civilians who
