Who Is James Fenimore Cooper s The Last Of The
Mohicans
James Fenimore Cooper, writer of the book The Last of the Mohicans, wrote the
novel in 1826. The Last of Mohicans tells the story of English and Native Americans
working together towards a rescue mission. Hawkeye, a white man raised by Native
Americans, is a famous sharp shooter that works with Native Americans to help a
colonel rescue his daughters from a rogue tribe. The Last of the Mohicansstarts out
with two girls and two men. These girls names are Cora and Alice Munro,
daughters of Colonel Munro, they are assisted by Major Heyward, of the 60th
regiment appointed by the King at Fort William Henry, and Heyward s Huron
navigator, Magua. They are joined by a man named David Gamut, a man who
worships by singing Old Testaments psalms, they are traveling toward... Show more

At this point, our main character Hawkeye comes into the book, with his Mohican
companions, Uncas and his father Chingachgook. Our main character runs into the
five while riding through the woods because the five said that they re navigator
was lost, immediately he recognizes Magua as a rogue Native American, and
Hawkeye injures him while Magua flees. The seven riders go to hide, but Gamut s
mare, that he is riding, has a colt by her side. The colt was making too much noise
while they were trying to hide, so Uncas and Chingachgook killed it and got rid of
it in the river. Further along into the book the seven arrive at Fort William Henry,
Colonel Munro weeps at the sight of his daughters, Cora and Alice, but a few days
after arriving Hawkeye was captured by the French. Eventually Hawkeye was
released and Colonel Munro went and surrendered to Montcalm, who is a French
General that is aligned with the Hurons. While the people of Fort William Henry
were leaving the fort they were escorted by the Hurons, that were aligned with
General Montcalm, were slaughtered by the them when they became irritated and
impatient with the people of Fort William Henry. While the people were being
The Theory Of The Natural Sciences
Knowledge, to me, can be defined as information that has been verified, either by
self or by the group and is something that we know and believe. Information on the
other hand is not necessarily known by us as individuals, but nevertheless, it does
exist. The sum of all information is therefore our total potential knowledge. This
prescribed title not only implies that the only knowledge possible is shared
knowledge , but that knowledge itself is impossible for an individual to attain. This
in turn discounts hunches, suspicions and theories which are all seen as being forms
of personal knowledge . This title must be used in context for it to hold meaning. In
context of the natural sciences, this title holds true as greater society is not so naive
as to believe as fact the thoughts of a single man. But when the thoughts and ideas of
a single man are put through a tried and tested method, such as the scientific method,
tests are carried out, criticism is allowed and improvement is made, only then, with
the relative evidence to back up this solitary man s claim, do we, the group, begin
to accept his claim as knowledge . On the other hand, knowledge of what we deem
ethical and morally right, whilst we can gain this from interaction with the group, is
not typically verified by the group, but rather is verified by ourselves, within our
own heads. An important question to ask in conjunction with the prescribed title is

Q2:
How long will the project take to complete? And which activities are critical? After
drawing the structure of project plan, we have to research the duration while the
project take to complete. We will find the activities that must be completed on time
for the project to complete on due date.
We know all of activities required time and immediate predecessors, finding out the

What will it cost to shorten the project by as many weeks as possible?
The project can be shortened by 6 weeks maximum.
Based on the crash time for 6 activities (A3 A4 A7and B2 B5 B6), we can come up
with the new numbers of weeks that each activity needs.
According to the critical path we already found, we could see that B9 is an
important activity. Once it was changed, B6 changed. So we also need
to find how A5 B3 B8 changed.
The crash of B5, B6 leaded to the change of A4 and A5 (17,21), so the crash of A3 is
invalid; The crash of B2 leaded to the change of C5, so B8 became (18,22); B2
changed B3 to (11.21). Then the time of B9 changed to (22,30). Since the earliest
time for B9 is 22 anyway, and we crashed
B5, B6 for one week each to make it s final time 21, we could cancel
B6 s crash for its higher cost.
Then we finally crash A7 for 2 weeks. so the final time for A8 was 46 followed by
calculating.
The total cost to shorten the project is
A4+A7+B5+B2

Brazil Essay
After the slavery abolition in 1888 and throughout the 20th century, Africa figured
relatively low in Brazil s foreign policy agenda, which have mostly focused in the
relations with the global powers such as the United States and European countries.
This configuration started to change significantly in the early 2000s, when the
improved macroeconomic situation of Brazilcoincided with Africas economic revival.
The turning point was, with no doubt, under former President Lula s mandate (2003
2010).
Revoking historical ties and cultural similarities, Lula s discourse was frequently
based in frames such as: paying back the solidarity debt with the African continent,
due to centuries of slavery relied on the sweat and blood of millions of ... Show more

According to a recent joint World Bank and IPEA document, the historical and
cultural ties between Brazil and the African continent differentiate the country from
the other members of the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India and China). The economic
success of Brazil, its activities in the international arena and its successful national
social policies would be lessons for African countries (IPEA World Bank, 2011).
Additionally to historical and cultural ties, other affinities in agro ecology and
epidemiology (and, in some cases, language) are often evoked as an advantage of the
Brazilian knowledge transfer to Africa, while the horizontal character of the
partnership is presented as an alternative to the vertical North South interaction
(Patriota Pierri, 2013).
SECTION C: Brazil s investment and financing in Africa: interests
Trade and investments
In the relations between Brazil and Africa, it is not only in development cooperation
that a significant increase started to be seen in the last decade. Making a
comparison, at the beginning of Lula s mandate in 2003, trade between the country
and the continent was $5 billion, while by 2009 it had surpassed $29 billion (LAHT,
2010). Although still accounting for a relatively small share in Brazilian
The Three Main Types Of Eating Disorders
Eating Disorders The three main types of eating disorders: anorexia nervosa,
bulimia nervosa, and binge eating, are complex pschyatriac disorders. The
classification and diagnosis of each disorder is challenging because diagnostic
symptoms and behaviours overlap. These disorders consist of various biological,
psychological and sociological factors. They frequently coexist with other illnesses
such as depression, substance abuse, or anxiety disorders. (ANAD) Eating disorders
are commonly associated with young women, however up to 24 million people of all
ages, genders and ethnicity suffer from an eating disorder in the U.S.

Binge eatingpurge type anorexic individuals individuals that lose control eat
something they feel they should not have eaten. With the fear of gaining weight, they
may vomit or exercise. Bulimia nervosa is characterized by: eating ecxessive
amounts of food in a short time (binge eating) and then purging by vomiting, taking
laxatives or diuretics. Bulimic behavior is done secretly, because it is often
accompanied by feelings of disgust, shame and guilt. Like people with anorexia,
they often fear gaining weight, desperately want to lose weight, and are unhappy
with their body image. However a bulimic individual may have normal weight with
large swings in weight. The binging and purging cycle usually repeats several times a
week. Similar to anorexia, people with bulimia often have coexisting psychological
illnesses, such as depression, anxiety and/or substance abuse problems. More
common than Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder occurs
in 1 35 adults in the U.S. People with binge eating disorder binge but do not purge,
and they often become overweight or obese. With binge eating disorder a person
loses control over his or her eating. Unlike bulimia nervosa, periods of binge eating
are not followed by purging, excessive exercise, or fasting. As a result, people with
binge eating disorder are often over weight or obese. They also experience guilt,
shame, and distress about their
Universal Truths in Japanese Literature
Universal Truths in Japanese Literature
Arts, Culture and Literature
In The Crane Wife and Princess Hase, both short stories in the book Tales of Japan
Illustrated Folk Tales, Fairy Tales and Mythology by Birgit Amadoi there are
examples of Universal truths. The Universal Truths such as Good vs. Evil, Greed vs.
Generosity, and Outer Strength vs. Inner Strength affect the people of Japan, and
reflects on how the live their life, and their outlook on the world.
The universal truth of Good vs. Evil reflects Japanese culture through, the history,
the people, their outlook on life, and their actions. Evil is usually perceived as the
opposite of good. In history it is to be known that Good always conquers evil. Every

This is an example of God being on the side of good. While giving birth to Hase he
mother passed away. The Father got remarried, and had another child. Hase now lives
with her Stepmother, Father, and brother. Her brother is the son of her step mother.
The step mother became very jealous of Hase. She was loved by everyone because of
her poetry. Hase was a good person, so good karma came to her. Hase s stepmother
plans to kill her with poison. Her plan went wrong, and she killed her only son. The
stepmother blamed Hase for her loss. This is the second example of karma. Hase s
stepmother was jealous of her which is a sin, and bad karma came to her. She tried to
kill Hase and bad came back to her. This is an example of Good vs. evil when good,
defeats evil.
In both of these short stories it explains for Good vs. Evil is connected to karma.
When you do good things good karma will come back to you. When you do bad,
horrible things will happen to you in return. The example of Yuhei not obeying his
wife s orders is an example of Evil, which resulted in him having a horrible life.
When he let the crane free and him being bless with a wife was an example of
good karma. This shows that one person can make good and bad actions. In the
second story Hase s stepmother trying to killer her, resulting in her only sons death
is an example of bad Karma. She took the evil path and bad things happened to her.

Mental Health And Mental Depression
Mental Health and SRM Magda is suffering from depression, or another mental
illness that is like depression. She has not been feeling like her usual self, and no
longer enjoys the things she use to enjoy. She also has anxiety when it comes to
social situation. Magda lives in a country that does not recognize depression as a
valid illness, and there is stigma she would have to deal with if she sought medical
treatment. I will be using the Self Regulatory Model (SRM) and additional
information to help explain why Magda has not sought help for her mental illness,
and how she could use SRM to seek help. Before I begin, I would like to define
what depression is and what depression is not. Depression is defined as feelings of
sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. (American Psychiatric
Association, 2017). Depression is not just being sad for a day. To diagnose
someone with depression an individual must have the symptoms related to
depression for more than two weeks (American Psychiatric Association, 2017).
Depression is not being able to enjoy or do the things you use to do. It is a valid
illness. Now that I have defined what I mean by depression, I will get to my point.
Mental illness is a controversial subject. According to the National Alliance on
Mental Illness (NAMI) (2015), 1in 5 adults in the USA suffer from some form of
mental illness. That s roughly 40 million adults. You probably know someone who
suffers from a mental illness, or you yourself
The Cost Of Bubble Tea
With the bubble tea industry on the rise, people are expecting more in terms of the
drink quality, atmosphere, and cost efficiency. Bubble tea fanatics are able to tell
difference between the use of powder and freshly made milk tea. The environment
needs to be modern and a place to relax with friends. Cost is always going to be
important.
One of the things highlighted was the taste of the bubble tea. People who love their
bubble tea, can always tell difference between the use of powder and freshly brewed
milk tea. Using fresh ingredients rather than powder, will be key in providing a
world class experience. People expect quality and authenticity, rather than cheap stuff
that you could probably make on your own. Using fresh fruits for fruit

predict a small but potentially significant amount of variance in scores of reading,
spelling, and possibly also morphological awareness (Kemp, 2012). In contrast to my
previous article review, Dr. Kemp placed a higher emphasis on using defined
parameters, yielding clear, defined, and controlled data. Kemp stated, The aim of this
study was thus to investigate textism use among high school and university students.
Specifically, we examined the proportion of textisms, the number of textism
categories produced and the consistency with which textisms were spelled, and
whether any of these differed between written and texted messages. We also explored

Friends and family who are supportive of the business idea provides money either
directly to the entrepreneur or into the business. Borrowing in this way can add to the
stress faced by an entrepreneur, particularly if the business gets into difficulties, also
socio relations come in the picture.
ADVANTAGES:
Quicker and cheaper to arrange.
Interest and repayment terms may be more flexible than a bank loan.
Financial pressure is normally less than with a bank. You get more time to repay.
The bond you likely have with the family or friend is typically higher than the one
you have with a bank or lender.
Borrowing from a close family member or friend is the possibility that the debt is

be an objective way to gauge and reward employee performance; however, through
no fault of their own, the Dermatology group is slated to undergo severe ebbs and

and retention. For example, in Exhibit E, we see that the dermatology group stands
to receive a $251, 451, payout as a result of a strong EVA at $31,361, a net gain of

I would argue that the unlimited upside and downside of a manager s bonus

it may be driven by factors beyond one s control and not necessarily as the result of

Dermatology s favorable EVA was driven by unsustainable share gains, a fluke in the

Seven Effective Habits
The Seven Effective Habits brought a football team to victory, and made history for
overcoming racism in a small town. The Habits transformed individuals, a team and a
community; key figures include Louie Lastik and Coach Boone. All began when the
multiracial football team at T.C. Williams High School, who bonded over training
camp, had a winning streak, bringing fans of all skin together colour into one. Louie
Lastik used the seventh Effective Habit to better the team and himself. He was well
rounded in the body (football), soul (singing about God), heart (getting along with
everyone) and brain (going to college). The balance within this individual is reasoned
behind his open mindedness when interacting with his African American teammates.

From the first day of camp, he judged his team not by race, but by skill. Also,
Boone kept the practices difficult, showing his determination. This attitude of
firmness and intensity had no major transformations throughout the film which
brought the team to victory. Without Coach Boone, the team would likely be under
the leadership of Coach Yoast; his priority was the white players getting their way
would likely have resulted in a disappointing season. The team s racial division was
what Coach Boone knew he had to fix for him to reach the end, a win. After getting
to know one another through camp, a bond between black and white players was
created. When people close to the players and crowds of games saw the friendships
the team had, they began changing their paradigm from races shouldn t mix (racist
views), to don t judge by race. The first habit was shown in characters such as Coach
Yoast, Emma and fans. This change in view brought the town together to cheer for
their team; one person s encouragement may have been the reason successful play
that won the game. In conclusion, the use of the Seven Effective Habits not only
brought T.C. Williams High School s football team to victory, but also create better
History And Function Of Foreign Affairs
The History and Function of Miniseries of Foreign Affairs
The practice of what we call diplomacy did not always exist in the way we know it
today. In its place entities, which can be loosely defined as States, employed
rudimentary lines of communication between one another dating back to 15th
centenary. It was an arduous task to have open and responsive lines of
communication between these states, however, given the close proximity of Italian
city states and their need for open channels of communication made Italy uniquely
opportune for the development and maturation of diplomacy. After years of practicing
what was called continuous negotiation or nГ©gociation continuelle the French

9). MFAs are then responsible for advising on the policies they should be required to
implement, issuing the appropriate instructions, and ensuring that they are carries out
(Berridge 2010 pg. 10). Part of the responsibility is the analysis of the information that
missions send home. There is the primary function of MFAs to coordinate foreign
relations. Lastly, MFAs are charged with overseeing interaction with foreign
diplomats at home. Berridge begins his book with what is essentially a fundamental
background on the evolution the MFA as an institution and how most function today.
While some might consider this information mundane or inconsequential to the goal
of discussing diplomacy at length, Berridge touches on these subjects because
diplomacy, like everything, is not static. Therefore, diplomacy is both effected by its
own history and by the administrative mechanism found within; a simplistic but
critical point to make.
Negotiation
Negotiation is the most frequently used tool in diplomacy and, as Berridge points
out, starts well before any representatives sit down at a table (Berridge 2010 pg.
27). There is a pre negotiation phase of arrangements that must be made beforehand
in order to get all of the appropriate parties of a conflict to participate.
noise reduction in data analysis
NOISE REDUCTION IN DATA USING POLYNOMIAL REGRESSION
Geetha Mary A, Dinesh Kumar P, Girish Kumar K, Gyanadeep N
School of Computing Science and Engineering, VIT University
dinesh.venkata@yahoo.co.in Abstract: Noise is common in data which hinders the
data analysis. We consider noise as low level data errors or objects that are
irrelevant to data analysis. Data cleaning technique reduces the low level data errors
but not irrelevant objects. To reduce both types of noise there are three traditional
outlier detection techniques distance based, clustering based, and an approach based
on the Local Outlier Factor (LOF) of an object. In this paper we introduce a new
method for noise reduction using polynomial regression and spearman s rank ... Show
more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Using the equations we get values for x and y. Now we apply spearman s rank
correlation coefficient ПЃ for the obtained results. If ПЃ Пµ ( 1,1) then the data is not
noise, if the ПЃ value is not in that range then we consider it as noise.
3. Numerical Evaluation Let us take data set as follows
X
Y
5
8
6
9
7
10
8
11
9
12
10
13 The equations obtained from the above data set are
Y=0.990 * x ^ 1.000+ 3.931
X=0.989 * y ^ 1.000 3.249
Now we take another data set to test using above equations and if the results are not
approximately similar to the obtained results for all the models then we consider the
data to be noise or outlier. For example we take the test data set to be as follows,
X
Y
112
125
167
171
For test case 1 (112,125)
Taking x(112), then y=114.811
Taking y(125), then y=120.376
For test case 2(167,170)
Taking x(167) ,Y=169.261
Taking y(170) ,X=166.87
For the obtained results we apply spearman s rank correlation coefficient ПЃ,ПЃ = 1
(6∑di2/n3 n) if the obtained result lies between ( 1,1) then the data belongs to that
set and if not in that range then it is considered as noise or outlier.
By applying for the above results we get,
For test case1 (112,125) ПЃ=1 ((6*((114.811 125)2+(120.376 112)2))/(2*(4 1)))ПЃ
= 172.973
For test case2 (167,170) ПЃ=1 (((6*(167 166.87)2+(170 169.261)2))/(2*(4 1))) ПЃ
=0.436979 so from the obtained results test case1 is considered as noise

Margaret Sanger Vs Betty Friedan
Throughout history, leaders of political and social movements have designed slogans
and catchphrases to mobilize ordinary citizens into political and social activists.
Historically, activists such as Nelson Mandela, Mohandas Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr., Rosa Parks, and countless others have, in their speeches and writings,
created a perfect pairing of words that persists in the mind of the listener. Two such
activists of the Twentieth Century were Margaret Sangerand Betty Friedan. Friedan
and Sanger greatly influenced the women s rights movement; despite both being
feminists, however, their personal beliefs in terms of other civil rights movements
often fell at opposite ends of the spectrum. Both Friedan and Sanger popularized
phrases which empowered their respective followers and similar activists to push
back against a system designed to repress them; the phrases that the two activists
used, however, reflected their different brands of activism and revealed their
differences of opinion on who mattered both for and in the Women s Rights
Movement. : Sanger with the phrase birth control and Friedan with the term feminine
mystique.
Betty Friedan, who lived from 1921 2006, constructed her activism through her
writing. She wrote for trade unions and magazines, and later, at the age of 42,
published her best known work The Feminine Mystique. This book stirred up a
following among urban, white, middle class American women who felt that their

Summary Of A Separate Peace By John Knowles
In A Separate Peace by John Knowles, Gene the main character and narrator s sense
of jealousy and competition causes him to isolate himself which eventually ended
in Finny s quietus. He pushed away Phineas, his only real friend, because he could
not accept the fact that sometimes Finny is generally superior to him. He probably
thought anything you were good at came without effort. He didn t know yet that he
was unique (Knowles 58). Pushing Finny away caused him to emotionally detach
himself from Finny. Even when Phineas told Gene that he is his best friend Gene
could not allow himself to be vulnerable by telling Phineas that he was also Gene s
best friend. at this teen age period in life the proper person is your best pal. Which

Inbreeding Depression By Environment Interactions Essay
Inbreeding Depression
Inbreeding depression is a widely studied topic in the fields of not only genetics,
but as well as the fields of biology, ecology, etc. Directly speaking, inbreeding
depression results in the loss or reduced expression of a trait due to the mating
between two closely related organisms (Hartl 547). As of today, there are a plethora
of studies and evidence that explain how and why inbreeding occurs within
populations even though it is deleterious for the populations. However, several of
these experiments are done in an unnatural environment or researchers have
manipulated data in a way to deem the results not truly representative (JM Pemberton
et al.,2016). It is vital to discover and understand the inbreeding depression of
organisms in natural conditions so that this area of study is accurately represented
by reasonable data and the knowledge of this topic can be expanded accurately. The
article, Inbreeding Depression by Environment Interactions in a Free living Mammal
Population published in Heredity in November 2016, discusses research done on a
population of sheep in St. Kilda in attempt to discover inbreeding depression by
environment interaction with unmanipulated and true data. The sheep live on an
isolated island, so it is assumed that inbreeding is high in the population and genetic
variation is low as well.
In this article, the researchers analyzed nine traits in the sheep for inbreeding
depression by environment interaction. These traits are
Essay On Soldier Diet
Unrealistic Thesis of Army Nutritionists Individualizing Soldier Nutrient Intake
The Army will not allow nutritionists to dictate what all Soldiers can eat daily. The
Army is a diverse organization. The strict guidelines of a Soldier s diet will infringe
with cultural, ethical, and the freedom to practice religion. There are not enough
financial resources to reinforce Soldier s dietary plans through nutritionist
monitoring. It is the Soldier s responsibility to be in accordance with (IAW) Army
Regulation (AR) 670 1 Uniform Wear and Appearance. AR 670 1 states, Soldiers
will present a professional image at all times and will continue to set the example in
military presence both on and off duty. Pride in appearance includes Soldiers physical

It does not consider all aspects to support food preparation and dietary plans.
Too Expensive
The nutrient control method is too expensive. A lab test costs between $100 and
$3000 for one Soldier (Walk In Lab, n.d.). The cost of a nutrient diet plan is for an
adult monthly $240.10 (USDA, 2017). Calculating this cost together for a 400,000
Soldier Army to start a program will cost nearly up to $211 billion (see Appendix A
for What If Analasys). Not included is the cost of implementing more manpower to
reinforce the nutrient intake measure as well as special foods for allergies.
Soldier Responsibility
It is a Soldier s responsibility as well as of their leaders to ensure that everyone in
the Army adheres to the regulations. The Army has an impeccable system in place.
AR 670 1 states that Soldiers are responsible for their height and weight. The
regulation referees to AR 600 9 regarding height and weight problems, it guides
Soldiers and leaders if problems occur. The Army also has a TRICARE application
that can schedule appointments with nutritionists. Along with wellness centers on
every installation in the U.S. and in most bases overseas. Wellness centers help with
diet plans; it offers classes on diet, and hydrostatic weighing. The Army does not need

Experiment 3: The preparation of acetaminophen (paracetamol) with thin layer
chromatography (TLC) to monitor the reaction.
Abstract:
This experiment is to demonstrate the preparation of paracetamol and its properties.
Reflux and filtration of 4 aminophenol and acetic anhydride formed the crude sample.
Further analysis of dry white crystals were used to give quantitative measurements
and a percentage yield of 46% was obtained. The overall conclusion is that the acetic
anhydride reacted with the NH2 group.
Materials and Methods:
1. We weighed out (on a top pan balance) 4 aminophenol (about 11.0g) in a weighing
boat and transfer the powder to a 250cm3 round bottomed flask (RBF) using a
powder funnel. 2. Then recorded the amount ... Show more content on

Sample + Ethanol= Colourless solution
FeCl3 was then added to this solution and a positive colour change was seen, as it
turned green
Sample + Ethanol + FeCl3 = Dark Green solution
This was then repeated using Salicyclic Acid instead of the sample to give a
reference material as it will give a positive test for a phenol.
Salicyclic Acid + Ethanol = Colourless solution
Salicyclic Acid + Ethanol + FeCl3 =Purple solution
The positive colour change from colourless to dark green of the sample means that
the phenol group is present in the sample. Therefore indicating that the acetic
anhydride has reacted with the amino group.
3. Determine the melting point and record the infrared spectrum of the dry solid.
Melting Point:
The melting point of sample obtained is: 1680C

Fig 1.1 Infrared Spectra of Paracetamol:
The infrared spectrum of paracetamol shows the appearance of a new peak at 1561
1650cm 1 this represents the carbonyl group from the acetic anhydride, meaning
that paracetamol has been formed. The OH peak is still present at 3109 3319cm 1
this shows that the phenol group is still attached to paracetamol. From the infrared
spectra you can also see that the NH2 group has disappeared. This is as it has been
selectively acetylated by acetic anhydride to form paracetamol.

Christian Seidl, Caleb Loggins, C.J. Edwards, Alec Colhoff and Jeff Martin which
accounted for 62 of the 85 points in the win. Seidl, who had scored six points in
the first six games, answered to the new role with a 15 point effort including three

My Favorite Day At School
I am walking on the sidewalk, as far away as I can from the gas station for now. I
run into a library. At least I get to rest a bit, while enjoying the cool air inside the
building. I find a place to myself, a nice arm chair on the second floor of the
building. It s kind of weird that this library is so lovely, for such a run down town.
But I m not complaining, I love libraries and I love to read. That s another thing I
appreciated most in my times in the place I call Hell. I was never allowed to own
my own books; Ms. Annette didn t like the fact that girls can be smart or like to
learn like boys. Come on! It s the 21st century, everything is different from the time
that ancient hag was my age.
At school, I was always favored by the English teacher. No, this wasn t because I
was a brown nose it s just because I always did my work, participated in class, and
never complained about the assignments. I enjoyed it; math was a different story.
My one English teacher I had in my 8th grade year, Mrs. O Neil was my favorite
teacher ever. She was always so kind to me, even though no one else was. They
thought I didn t belong, maybe just like my parents. She always picked out books
for me she thought I would enjoy, which isn t hard to find. Her long, straight
strawberry blonde hair left me jealous. I thought she was beautiful, what I yearned
to be. My short, curly dark hair was the exact opposite. Even though I was jealous
of her, she was my idol. My fondest memory of her was when it was right before
Christmas break. I always dreaded break times because that meant more time at
whatever home I was staying at, for the time, and they weren t always good.
Especially this year. She had set aside 4 books on her desk, the last day before break.
The bell rang and all of the students started shuffling out of their seats, to get out of
there as soon as possible. Mrs. O Neil calls me to her desk.
These books are for you, Effy. Take them, and you can keep them, they re yours
I was in shock, no one had ever given me something as meaningful as this before. I
started crying. Thank you so much You re very welcome. She says, But don t cry.
She hugs me. This is one of the best moments of my life.

Female Sexuality And Its Effects On Our Minds By Using...
Every day we are bombarded with dozens of advertisements. We are pitched
products, ideas, and even feelings. Companies manipulate our minds by using humor,
violence, and sexuality to sell. Often, we chose to ignore the constant distractions
shown to us on the television, newspapers, magazines, and giant billboards. Yet, the
subliminal messages still affect us, sometimes without us even noticing. Society has
normalized so many of these ideas that they are not seen as offensive, although they
should be. If we take more than a few seconds to look and snicker, we can truly
comprehend the issues we have been ignoring. Advertisers will go to almost any
length to convince consumers that their product is the best, something that is
necessary. Targeted advertisement is used to appeal to a certain group of consumers.
One of the most common and recognizable examples is the use of femalesexuality to
sell products aimed at men. Even products that aren t specifically maleoriented seem
to exploit the female body as a way to catch people s attention. In 2009 Arby s
released a magazine ad (Figure 1) displaying a pair of hamburgers, obviously
representing breasts, with female hands crossed over them. The text beneath the
photo reads We re about to reveal something you ll really drool over. . Admittedly,
the image does immediately catch a reader s attention. That is, of course, the purpose
of advertising. To seize interest, maybe even shock. Clearly this example is not
extreme, it s a
The Teleological Argument For The Existence Of
Intelligent...
The teleological argument successfully provides proof for the existence of
intelligent design by utilizing intricate scientific data in order to demonstrate intent
and purpose in the creation of the universe, as opposed to random and highly
improbable occurrences. The purpose of the teleological argument is to present
complex details of the universe as evidence that it was designed by an intelligent
mind. It suggests that since the universe is so compound and full of fine tuned
intricacies, there must have been a designer who implemented these specific details
in order to create a fully functioning and sustainable universe. These details have
been found from a biological perspective, as well as from a cosmological scale. The
teleological argumentis commonly used to provide evidence for the existence of the
theistic God, or at least an intelligent designer. In contrast, those who are against the
teleological argument generally believe that the universe is a result of an accidental
explosion. Although there are many theories that use the teleological argument to
provide strong support for intelligent design, there are also well developed theories
that oppose the teleological argument. A philosopher who presents several
contradicting arguments to the teleological argument is David Hume. In his writing,
The Dialogue Concerning Natural Religion, he presents his critique of the
teleological argument and expresses his opposition through the fictional character
Philo. In one of
Road Of Nonconformity
In the poem, The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost, the author introduces the reader
to a character that seems to be having a difficult time making choices. The character
describes two similar roads that he can take, but he is an indecisive being.
Additionally, the two roads are choice that were available to him at one point in his
life but he hesitated to pick and choose. I personally believe that what the narrator
means thats he took the roadthat not many people have taken. The poem speaks about
conformity, therefore one roadis giving in to conformity while the other is not. The
narrator then chooses the road less traveled which I perceive it to be the road of
nonconformity due to the fact that not many people travel down that
Prohibition In Canada During The 1920 s
Prohibition was an act to try to cure Canada s broken society, but in several ways
was a failed experiment. What was also known as the temperance movement was a
path to hell paved with good intentions . Provinces went dry as the temperance
movement began to deprive the country of the substance that eased pain for many
and created good times and laughter for others by shutting down brewery s and
other alcohol related business , in order to satisfy the political and religious groups
who believed alcohol was breaking apart our Canadian society. Drunkenness was
believed to be a main factor in social problems, organized crime and mental/physical
health issues. This experiment was a waste to our country as the nation began to
rebel against this heavily enforced law by bootlegging, making unverified alcohol
and resenting politicians and religious groups for the dry spell that had spread
throughout the country. As Prohibition laws because stricter, bootlegging became a
secret everyone wanted in on. Bootlegging is the act of making distributing or selling
illegal goods.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People were uneducated on the fact that making alcohol from wood was a serious
danger to the human body and could cause serious damage. This unverified alcohol
killed about 10,000 people in the 1920 s. It created health problems such as organ
damage and blindness. This law also created a problem for all the alcoholics who
could not admit to their poor habit, because it would only result in an unwanted
arrest due to the burden they carried with them of alcoholism. Victims were left to
deal with their addiction without the therapy they required to heal themselves. This
meant that mental health issues was a problem for a great deal of problem whom
turned to alcohol to solve the personal problems they were facing even before
prohibition had
How Did Donald Trump Affect American
Donald John Trump, the 45th United States President, reality tv star, entrepreneur,

mother then passed 1 year later in 2000. He was 4th of 5 children; Mary Anne,
Fred Jr., Elizabeth, and Robert. All of his siblings are still alive except Fred Jr.,
which passed away tragically in 1981. Early in his childhood, at age 13, Donald

Two issues that Trump has hyper focused on are immigration and job creation
during his first 100 days in office. First, I will talk about immigration, which many
would say was his main platform for his election. This was the issue he built his wall
campaign on. There are over 11.3 million illegal immigrants living in the United
States. Critics say that this wall that Trump wants to build is unaffordable and
downright unrealistic. From the beginning of his initial bid for president he was
backed by many to build this wall along the 2000 mile US Mexico border. When
Trump first became instated as the president, he pledged a contiguous, physical
wall or other similarly secure, contiguous, and impassable physical barrier. Trump
approached the Mexican president, Enrique PeГ±a Nieto that his country will
have to pay for the wall to be built. This didn t go over to well creating some tension
between trump and our neighbor to the south with in his first month of election.
Enrique PeГ±a Nieto wanted nothing to do with paying for the wall since the
price tag is so high. With this Ideal to build a wall, he also added as a side note to
hire over 10,000 plus immigration officers to eliminate federal money to sanctuary
cities. These cities refuse to deport undocumented immigrants. Also he vowed to
catch and deport the millions of men, women and children who live in this country
without documentation. As of his 100th day in office there has been a recorded
decrease in illegal Southwest border crossings due to his increase in border
security. Homeland Security as of March 8 release data showing that in there was
alone 18,762 illegal immigrants caught. This is estimated as a 60% decline from
november before Trump took over in office. The only stipulations to this data is , it
does not give a general trend since it s been such a short period of
Analysis Of Andy Campbell s Soup Can
Interpretation It s troublesome to envision that Andy Warhol s 32 Campbell s Soup
Cans painting has an insufficiency of connotation and significance. As I look at the
painting I discover myself determined, strong willed, and decisive to grasp sight on
some hidden message. Although, I assume this was the objective Andy Warhol was
trying to convey. He painted the modern culture and in essentially every pantry,
ascertains a Campbell s SoupCan will be detected. It is something everyone knows

deeper meaning behind this could be that these particular soup cans may represent
Chromatography Lab Used to Examine Spinach and Red
Cabbage
Chromatography Lab
In this chromatography lab filter paper was used to examine the different pigments of
spinach and red cabbage. There were two hypotheses for both plants. The hypothesis
for the red cabbage was that there would be multiple pigments evident. The
hypothesis for the spinach was similar in that there would be different pigments
present. Both hypotheses were accepted in that there were multiple pigments found
on the filter paper of each sample. Major scientific concepts in this lab include
chromatography and pigments. Chromatography is the division of mixtures, solution,
and others into its different components. Chromatography is often used to separate a
solution into its separate parts. Chromatography filters complicated compounds
accurately without involving a difficult process so it is often used. In this lab, we
used chromatography to separate the different pigments in the plants. When looking
at plants, the colors of the plants are the colors that are reflected from the different
wavelengths of the light spectrum. The colors that are not evident are the colors the
plants absorb and use as energy. Pigments are the compounds of a plant the enable the
reflected colors to be evident. These pigments function to capture light energy from
the sun to enable the plants to undergo photosynthesis.

New football stadium coming to Las Vegas
Excitement has engulfed Nevada following the news that a new stadium could
soon grace the world famous Las Vegas Strip. On August 26, The Las Vegas
Review Journal reported that a 62 acre piece of land belonging to a consortium of
banks from New York and Dallas was favored as the venue to host the $1.9 billion,

Nevada Land Group LLC includes Credit Suisse Management, Barclays Bank,
NexBank, and Highland Capital Management. The much sought swathes of land lie
west of Mandalay bay and Interstate 15. The cost of land, and undisclosed site
infrastructure is expected to cost between $350 million to $400 million. The deal,
whose details are yet to be fully revealed, is a partnership between Raiders Football

Top Reasons Users Don t Convert on Your Website
There are many reasons why users don t convert as buyers or sales leads on B2B
websites, and each company website has its own conversion killers that are unique to
the business and its online audience. A Stanford University study found that 80
percent of prospects judge a business s credibility by website design features.[1]
Many of the negative judgments that people make involve unfriendly mobile design,
lack of self service options and hard sell tactics that turn off members who prefer a
lighter touch that lets people make their own choices of whom to visit and engage
when they re ready to buy. Conversion rate optimization or CRO involves improving
a website s design, functionality and user experiences while eliminating those pesky
attributes that kill conversions.
Leading B2B Conversion Killers
It s useful for any company to make a list of conversion killers based on general
best practices and features unique to the business. Rectifying the issues might take
a website redesign, system integrations, customized features or fine tuning content
strategy. Median conversion rates for generic searches are only slightly higher than

Charles Taylor Doesn t Think So And His Almost 900 Page...
Why was it virtually impossible not to believe in God in, say, 1500 in our Western
society, while in 2000 many of us find this not only easy, but even inescapable? Was
it really an inevitable conclusion of uncompromising reality as Tom Hardy assumes?
Charles Taylor doesn t think so and his almost 900 page answer is an ambitious
retelling of the process known as secularization. His narrative style documentation of
the massive cultural shift of the past several centuries demonstrates the inadequacy of
Mainstream Secularization Theory and the spiritual complexity of our cross
pressured society. The culmination of this story lends voice to a hemisphere s
subconscious, diving beneath the taken for granted assumptions of the Western mind
to hear the truth.
That underlying level of assumption is what Charles Taylor calls a social imaginary:
What I m trying to get at with this term is something much broader and deeper than
intellectual schemes people may entertain when they think about social reality in a
disengaged mode. I am thinking rather of the ways in which they imagine their social
existence, how they fit together with others, how things go on between them and
their fellows, the expectations which are normally me, and the deeper normative
notions and images which underlie these expectations.
Charles Taylor definition of social imaginary is much different than a social theory
in many ways. He uses imaginary because he is speaking about the way ordinary
Leadership Theories Of Leadership And Leadership
hilosophers, political scientist, and psychologist have composed vast amount of
literature on leader and leadership. Leadership is a broad term, open to interpretation.
Leadership development begins with the simple realization that you want to be a
leader. This literature review examines and evaluates major theories of leadershipand
summarizes findings from empirical research on leadership. Discuss the concept of
leadership with a particular focus on the role leadership, such as collegiate
organization. This literature will conclude with recommendation to enhance student
leadership. Leadership have many descriptions from personality, traits, characteristics,
activities, and types of goals. The importance of college leadership training, to
develop leadership skills will be explained in this paper. An integrating conceptual
framework is presented to show how the different theories and lines of research fit
together. Keywords: Leadership, Trait, leadership development, higher education
Leadership Literature Review
No single definition is able to encompass the complex idea of leadership. (Stogdill
,1974) Leadership is the initiation and maintenance of structure in expectation and
interaction (p.411). Leadership is a word that has many meanings and can be
interpreted in many different ways. The role of the leader is very important in an
educational environment. Common ideas of leadership are leading people,
influencing people, commanding people and guiding people.
Safeguarding Personal Privacy
America today rivals George Orwell s 1984 society through the National Security
Agency s global surveillance programs such as Prism, XKeyscore, and Dishfire.
Surveillance programs, led by the NSA, are all used to clandestinely collect
electronic data from all internet and phone users throughout the world. These
programs came about after the Patriot Act of 2001. This act was put in place to help
protect the American people from terrorist groups after the atrocities seen on 9/11.
Originally drafted to protect the people, the Patriot Act was soon taken advantage of
by the NSA. These programs should be heavily restricted because they disregard
personal privacy, do not properly protect the information they are taking, and, lastly,
are unconstitutional.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In theory, the government can detect warning signs from certain individuals before it

for this security? Is this loss of privacy and freedom worth it? To quote one of the
greatest American founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, Those who would give up
essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor

government are Orwellian in nature and are becoming out of hand The NSA s

they overstep the boundaries or personal privacy, do not adequately protect the data
they obtain, and impede on the basic rights given to Americans in the
Analysis Of Boeing Company And Aerospace And Defence...
Part Three: Analysis of Company Accounts
Section 3.1 Introduction
All three companies under analysis in this part of the report including Airbus Group,
the Boeing Company and Lockheed Martin are operating in aerospace and defence
industry within industrial goods sector. Financial performance of Boeing is assessed
by analysing a series of ratios measuring the efficiency, liquidity, economic value
added and profitability of the company accounts. For the reason that ratio may be of
little meaning without a yardstick with which it was contrasted, recent performance
is therefore compared with progressional results over a period of time using trend
analysis. Moreover, cross sectional analysis is employed to evaluate financial

Section 3.3 Efficiency Measures
3.3.1 Inventory turnover
Inventory turnover ratio (ITR) measures how efficient a company is using its
inventories to generate revenues. It considers the on hand inventories of a company
relative to that company s sales of products. Sales of services are excluded from the
calculations because the ratio is only relevant with the stock of physical goods. A
higher ITR is typically preferred because it suggests that a given amount of inventory
has been turned into more cash and profits.
A decreasing trend of Boeing s ITR can be spotted from Graph 3.1, from a historical
ratio of 6.29 in 2006 to 1.73 in 2014. Graph 3.2 shows a comparison between Airbus
and Boeing. ITR for Boeing has suffered continuous deterioration and settled within
1.7 to 1.9 in recent three fiscal years while Airbus manages to maintain around 2.4,
and average ITR for aerospace and defence industry is 2.56 for the same time
period. There are two factors affecting a company s inventory turnover ratio,
namely, stock purchasing and revenues generated from selling products. Inventory
turnover ratios for Boeing company is calculated to be 1.89, 1.79, 1.73 for year
2012, 2013, 2014 respectively, and within the same time frame, sales revenue of the
company increased with a growth rate of 7.8% in 2013 and 5.07% in 2014 (table

The issue of Non Performing Assets (NPA), the root cause of the recent global
financial crisis has been drawing the attention of the policy makers and academician

financial sector reforms. It is adopting international best practices with a vision to
strengthen the banking sector. The Indian banking sector has been facing serious
problems of raising Non Performing Assets (NPAs). The NPAs growth has a direct
impact on profitability of banks. Several prudential and provisioning norms have
been introduced, and these are pressurizing banks to improve efficiency and trim
down NPAs to improve the financial health of the banks. In the background of these
developments, this study strives to examine the state of affair of the
The Social Norms Of The Imaginary World
In any given culture, there is are sets of beliefs, or an imaginary world, that
governs the way a culture thinks and acts. As a result of the imaginary world, a
system of widely accepted social norms and laws are established and followed by
all involved in the culture. However, I believe that although the imaginary world
does influence the culture as a whole, the concept of free will, agency and
individualism plays a part in how each person chooses to interpret the social norms
and therefore live their life. Taking the example of the Himbaculture, I will be
exploring the different aspects of the imaginary world, individual interpretations of
the imaginary world, and then looking at BYU imaginary world to prove that each
culture, regardless of location, is influenced by an imaginary world as a whole but
individuals can be influenced differently due to their relationships with others. Like
many cultures, religion is often the biggest influence in developing the social norms
of a society, especially morally accepted norms. The Himba people are a passionate,
traditional people who are loyal to their God, Mukuru. Their beliefin Mukuru drives
all of their decisions and what the come to value in life, and also influences the way
that they choose to live in regards to their relationships with one another. Life in

Sarah Schechter s Superman
Many know Clark Kent, Kal El or Superman to be the Man of Steel with a human
side. Now, Tyler Hoechlin gets ready for his version of the superhero in the
upcoming Supergirl season 2. Will Hoechlin follow the comic profile?
Show producer Sarah Schechter explains that viewers will see Superman as a
different person in Supergirl season 2. For one, the show focuses on the relationship
between Kara and Kal El as cousins. It just gives us a different window into Kara and
frankly, into Clark, she said. The Superman that viewers see is the one that people
have not met yet. A Superman who has Supergirl in his life, describes Schechter.
She explains that the interaction between the two is a fun sight to behold. HOF Mag

Petri Dish Lab
Post Lab Questions:
In which petri dish did you observe the highest hatching viability? Did the results
support your prediction in Pre Laboratory Question #2?
The petri dish with the highest hatching viability was the 1.0% dish. No, the results
did not support my prediction in the pre laboratory question #2. My prediction did
not match the results because in the 1.5% petri dish it showed a lower hatching
viability compared to the 1.0% petri dish. After, the results came out it was proven
that the best NaCl solution for the brine shrimp was the 1.0 petri dish because it wasn
t too concentrated and it wasnt too little.
Explain, in terms of natural selection, why one saline solution yielded the highest
hatching viability of brine shrimp.
Natural selection is the process whereby organisms better adapted to their
environment tend to survive and produce more offspring. One saline solution yielded
the highest hatching viability because only one of the solutions was suitable for the
brine shrimps and they were able to adapt to that place. The other ... Show more

One of the limitation was that the experiment was unable to simulate the effects of
predation. In an actual environment some of the brine shrimp eggs could have been
eaten before they are able to hatch, but since this was in a petri dish there was no such
thing as predators that have reduced the hatching viability of the brine shrimp eggs.
Another, limitation was the exact amount of brine shrimps you could brush up. This
made the hatching viability to not be as accurate because there was different amount
of eggs to start with. If there was an equal amount of eggs to begin with the hatching
viability percentage would have been more accurate since they all started the same.
These two limitations made the experiment not as reasonable because it stopped what
could have happen to these brine shrimps in their actual
What Is Quantum Teleportation Real And Achieved Moving
An...
Is it possible for an object or a person to be taken apart into atoms and be put back
together in another location, or another word can a person teleport? Even though
teleportation sounds like science fiction, it does indeed exist just in a smaller scale.
Up to this day scientists were able to make quantum teleportation real and achieved
moving an atomfrom location A to location B in seconds. According to Jon Austin
professor Michio Kaku of City University, New York, maintains the technology to
teleport a living person to another part of the Earth or even space could be available
within decades or at by the next century. The existence of an actual teleport has been
proven and demonstrated by Michio Kaku. The overall definition of quantum
teleportation is that something is able to travel from one location to the other
instantly and without any contact. The in depth definition is that an atom or a
molecule can break the distance in a moment without any contact between location
and on a quantum level. Quantum teleportation considers all living and nonliving
things as data. People consist of data that is maintained in atoms and molecules. and
theoretically human body can be taken apart into atoms and put back together in a
different place. Michio Kaku went to high school Kaberle in Palo Alto, California.
He was an incredibly gifted student. As a part of the project at school, he built a
particle accelerator in the garage of his parents. Michio built a machine from 400
The Pros And Cons Of Acting Can Be Worth It
Acting can be Worth it Acting is when an actor/ actress performs for people by
means of portraying and telling somebody else s story. Like any other job acting
has its pros and cons, and people who act also have good and bad days just like any
other person. However, some people try to become an actor/actress just for fame,
money, and popularity. Sure it is nice to have those things, but if that is the only
reason a person wants to act then there is a huge chance that their actingcareer will
fail and they more than likely will not reach the goal of having fame, money, and
popularity. On the other hand though if a human being s passion is acting, then
they should go after their dreams and achieve them no matter what. There are
many reasons why acting is worth it. If the reason someone wants to act is because
they love it, then it can help them discover who they are, it can also assist actors
/ actresses with expressing themselves better, it allows them to be more creative, it
is fun, and it allows the people who act, especially famous thespians, to have a big
influence on society and many people s lives (Meindl, Anthony). For example,
acting can allow people to discover who they are . So, then do people have to be
rich in order to act? Sure having money is useful and it can help people, however, as
long as the person who is trying to act works hard and continues to try to get roles
even though they have been rejected many times, then eventually they will be
Essay On Discrimination In America
Throughout time, racism has controlled the way people treat each other, and despite
many Americans believing that they have resolved their racist ways, many people
still face discrimination.
The government started to try abolish slavery when over one hundred fifty years ago
when it was a bigger issue, however many American s still treat African Americans
with the disrespectful mentality used in the 1800 s.
History of slavery (In 1865, the Thirteenth Amendment was passed which formally
abolished slavery in the United States.)

disrespect and abuse of a slave, refusing change)

People in America can be greatly influenced by celebrities such as Donald Trump,
the president of the United States; Trump s racial opinions are having a negative
influence on people world wide.
Donald Trump (Influences America greatly, and by being racist, it shows Americans
that it is ok to be racist and sexist.)
Hate crimes in Trump s name (many accounts of hate crimes such as graffiti in
Trump s name occurred within days of being elected.)
As well as being destructive, the stereotypes that surround African Americans and
other races have proven to cloud good judgement and are therefore considered
dangerous.

Government Surveillance
Government Surveillance on Society
Our society is dystopian in that we are being watched by the government. The
government s surveillance ranges from cameras to electronics to even drones. We are
told that
this constant surveillance is for our safety and to make it a safe environment for us
because their
main reason is to protect us when in fact it may not be their true intentions. U.S.
police have been
asking for greater surveillance in order to keep pace with the technology use of
criminals.
Surveillance has been a problem in our society because people think that there s too
much
cameras and privacy invasion which it s not necessary. People feel like they are
constantly being
watched by the government with all the new technologies. This increase in
surveillance makes us
question if the government is collecting of information for their own good. After 9
/11, the day many people lost their loved ones or were injured in the terrorist
attack on United States, surveillance has been increased to try to prevent these type
of events
from ever happening again. On 9/11 two planes crashed into the twin towers where
thousands
were trapped, killed or were injured, this day has been an unforgettable moment
because from
that day forward United States was not the same. A way that the government tries to
prevent
these things from happening is by increasing surveillance, U.S. police have been
given greater
legal and procedural latitudes to conduct a wider

The intent to live, Achieving your true potential as an actor , By Larry Moss
The book is referred to as intent to live because most of the great actors who
perform the acting seem not to be acting but living. This is depicted on how they
portray their act; very real from the eyes of the audience. Larry moss has described
these instances in this book on how the actors can achieve this level of acting by
sharing out the techniques he has developed for over thirty years. As per Larry Moss
description, the techniques highlighted can help actors in setting their imagination,
emotions and behaviors on fire. These shows how hard work of preparation is
helpful in performances that will yield good fruits. This ... Show more content on

As an actor, it is therefore very useful to differentiate between different kinds of
stress that can interfere with your performance. Tension is a normal thing to all
human beings but we should develop a way of overcoming it. As per Larry Moss,
physical tension in our body often begins in childhood. When we try to hold back
our joy, anger, tears and humor, we interfere with our different body muscles that
tend to stop our natural body impulse. Emotions also have an impact on the actor s
performance in a way that; when actors are emotionally stressed they may tend to
swallow these emotions which may affect their throat or other body parts. This
context portrays how emotional feelings can lead to physical consequences that
will affect the actors performance. Some of the physical consequences that are
brought by emotions can be headache, stomach and some which cannot be ignored.
As an actor, you should also be aware of your physical image you are representing
to the audience since your physical embodiment plays a big role on stage. The
audiences are always carried by the actors facial expression and physical energy
they portray on stage. Therefore as an actor, you have to consider these factors while
on stage. As per this context, an actor should keep breathing while on stage so that to
release the tension.
Voice, accents and blood memory is also another element that is discussed by

Change The World Enough
Literary Analysis As I read Alice Walker s poem To Change the World Enough , I
found out that this poem has no rhyme scheme, Walker did not use any meters and
she uses simple words just as the poem Expect Nothing . The mood of the poem is
dark and angry. Walker feels like poor people are treated unfairly which reflect one of
the ideas of the poem. she writes In us this is wisdom of how to shares loaves and
fishes... (line 22 23) here, she promotes equal power between gender and class. Next,
as I read through the poem, Walker also concerned about social class, she believes
that end of war is near, and it s time for the poor and rich to work together. She writes
The poor always believe there is room enough for all of us; the very rich
Indigenous Health Essay
Causative considerations are multifactorial regarding the development of low health
literacy rates in Aboriginals, inclusive of socio economical disadvantages,
geographical considerations, and social/environmental influences (Australian
Indigenous HealthInfoNet, 2015). Differing conceptualisations of reality or
worldview are present within Aboriginal culture, which vary from westernised
civilisation. Indigenous history lacks a biomedical background, and encompasses
differing views of disease/illness, which may be associated with personal actions
/behaviours, social order, and spiritual health. As an example, disease may be viewed
as the consequence of sorcery/voodoo (Vass, Mitchell, Dhurrkay, 2011). Other factors
may stem from mistrust of westernised medicine/civilisation due to The Stolen
Generation or social engineering and previous cultural genocide (Shahid, Finn,
Thompson, 2009), English as a second language, and lack of connection/engagement
with westernised pedagogy frameworks for health teaching (Yunkaporta, 2009). Other
considerations may correlate to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In indigenous culture, mental illness, inclusive of psychosis/dissociative disorder
may be attributed to cultural distress. Such distress may originate from British
colonisation, but is as recent as the Stolen Generation with Aboriginal decimation
/cultural devastation and attempted cultural eradication via genocide. Current issues
of racism and socioeconomic disadvantage are also attributable (Australian Council
for Educational Research., the Kalunga Research Network., Telethon Institute for
Child Health Research, 2010). Due to the plethora of causative factors regarding poor
literacy, nurses face many challenges in addressing this
Advantages And Disadvantages Of Service Promotion
A service promotion strategy has a number of components that are known as the
promotional mix (Harrison, 2000). There is no one promotional tool that is able to
achieve promotion strategy objectives which, in turn, means that most service
organizations use more than one promotional tool in order to avoid the disadvantages
of each tool. This implies that each promotional tool has different advantages and
disadvantages so most service organizations try to use more than one promotional
tool in order to maximize the advantages and minimize the disadvantages of each
(Harrison, 2000).

Direct mail which is used extensively by tour operators, is postal communication by
an identified sponsor. And this promotional tool is classified as direct marketing.
Because tourism is an intangible product, a great deal of promotion includes the
production of printed communications such as brochures or sales leaflets. The design,
organization and printing of tourism brochures is one of the most important
promotion functions. Printed communications are often costly. In fact, the printing
and distribution costs of brochures comprise the largest part of most marketing
budgets within the tourism industry. Advertising is used to achieve a whole range
of objectives which may include changing attitudes or building image as well as
achieving sales. However, advertising messages do not always have to be aimed
directly at creating a sale. Sometimes it s the sponsor s goal simply to convey a
positive idea or a favorable image of the organization (often called institutional
advertising). (Sponsorship

The Last of Mohicans tells the story of English and Native Americans working together towards a rescue mission. Hawkeye, a white man raised by Native Americans, is a famous sharp shooter that works with Native Americans to help a colonel rescue his daughters from a rogue tribe. The Last of the Mohicansstarts out with two girls and two men. These girls names are Cora and Alice Munro, daughters of Colonel Munro, they are assisted by Major Heyward, of the 60th regiment appointed by the King at Fort William Henry, and Heyward s Huron navigator, Magua. The seven riders go to hide, but Gamut s mare, that he is riding, has a colt by her side. The colt was making too much noise while they were trying to hide, so Uncas and Chingachgook killed it and got rid of it in the river. Further along into the book the seven arrive at Fort William Henry, Colonel Munro weeps at the sight of his daughters, Cora and Alice, but a few days after arriving Hawkeye was captured by the French. Eventually Hawkeye was released and Colonel Munro went and surrendered to Montcalm, who is a French General that is aligned with the Hurons. While the people of Fort William Henry were leaving the fort they were escorted by the Hurons, that were aligned with General Montcalm, were slaughtered by the them when they became irritated and impatient with the people of Fort William Henry. • 3. The Theory Of The Natural Sciences Knowledge, to me, can be defined as information that has been verified, either by self or by the group and is something that we know and believe. Information on the other hand is not necessarily known by us as individuals, but nevertheless, it does exist. The sum of all information is therefore our total potential knowledge. This prescribed title not only implies that the only knowledge possible is shared knowledge , but that knowledge itself is impossible for an individual to attain. This in turn discounts hunches, suspicions and theories which are all seen as being forms of personal knowledge . This title must be used in context for it to hold meaning. In context of the natural sciences, this title holds true as greater society is not so naive as to believe as fact the thoughts of a single man. But when the thoughts and ideas of a single man are put through a tried and tested method, such as the scientific method, tests are carried out, criticism is allowed and improvement is made, only then, with the relative evidence to back up this solitary man s claim, do we, the group, begin to accept his claim as knowledge . On the other hand, knowledge of what we deem ethical and morally right, whilst we can gain this from interaction with the group, is not typically verified by the group, but rather is verified by ourselves, within our own heads. An important question to ask in conjunction with the prescribed title is How does knowledge creation differ between areas of

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What will it cost to shorten the project by as many weeks as possible? The project can be shortened by 6 weeks maximum. Based on the crash time for 6 activities (A3 A4 A7and B2 B5 B6), we can come up with the new numbers of weeks that each activity needs. According to the critical path we already found, we could see that B9 is an important activity. Once it was changed, B6 changed. So we also need to find how A5 B3 B8 changed. The crash of B5, B6 leaded to the change of A4 and A5 (17,21), so the crash of A3 is invalid; The crash of B2 leaded to the change of C5, so B8 became (18,22); B2 changed B3 to (11.21). Then the time of B9 changed to (22,30). Since the earliest time for B9 is 22 anyway, and we crashed B5, B6 for one week each to make it s final time 21, we could cancel B6 s crash for its higher cost. Then we finally crash A7 for 2 weeks. so the final time for A8 was 46 followed by calculating. The total cost to shorten the project is A4+A7+B5+B2 =3900+7000+1700+3200=15800 Conclusion:Sincenoinformationisgivenofnormalcosts, itisnotpossibletoprovideageneralevaluatio

  • 6. Brazil Essay After the slavery abolition in 1888 and throughout the 20th century, Africa figured relatively low in Brazil s foreign policy agenda, which have mostly focused in the relations with the global powers such as the United States and European countries. This configuration started to change significantly in the early 2000s, when the improved macroeconomic situation of Brazilcoincided with Africas economic revival. The turning point was, with no doubt, under former President Lula s mandate (2003 2010). Revoking historical ties and cultural similarities, Lula s discourse was frequently based in frames such as: paying back the solidarity debt with the African continent, due to centuries of slavery relied on the sweat and blood of millions of ... According to a recent joint World Bank and IPEA document, the historical and cultural ties between Brazil and the African continent differentiate the country from the other members of the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India and China). The economic success of Brazil, its activities in the international arena and its successful national social policies would be lessons for African countries (IPEA World Bank, 2011). Additionally to historical and cultural ties, other affinities in agro ecology and epidemiology (and, in some cases, language) are often evoked as an advantage of the Brazilian knowledge transfer to Africa, while the horizontal character of the partnership is presented as an alternative to the vertical North South interaction (Patriota Pierri, 2013). SECTION C: Brazil s investment and financing in Africa: interests Trade and investments In the relations between Brazil and Africa, it is not only in development cooperation that a significant increase started to be seen in the last decade. Making a comparison, at the beginning of Lula s mandate in 2003, trade between the country and the continent was $5 billion, while by 2009 it had surpassed $29 billion (LAHT, 2010). Bulimic behavior is done secretly, because it is often accompanied by feelings of disgust, shame and guilt. Like people with anorexia, they often fear gaining weight, desperately want to lose weight, and are unhappy with their body image. However a bulimic individual may have normal weight with large swings in weight. The binging and purging cycle usually repeats several times a week. Similar to anorexia, people with bulimia often have coexisting psychological illnesses, such as depression, anxiety and/or substance abuse problems. Hase s stepmother was jealous of her which is a sin, and bad karma came to her. She tried to kill Hase and bad came back to her. This is an example of Good vs. evil when good, defeats evil. In both of these short stories it explains for Good vs. Evil is connected to karma. When you do good things good karma will come back to you. When you do bad, horrible things will happen to you in return. The example of Yuhei not obeying his wife s orders is an example of Evil, which resulted in him having a horrible life. When he let the crane free and him being bless with a wife was an example of good karma. This shows that one person can make good and bad actions. • 9. Mental Health And Mental Depression Mental Health and SRM Magda is suffering from depression, or another mental illness that is like depression. She has not been feeling like her usual self, and no longer enjoys the things she use to enjoy. She also has anxiety when it comes to social situation. Magda lives in a country that does not recognize depression as a valid illness, and there is stigma she would have to deal with if she sought medical treatment. I will be using the Self Regulatory Model (SRM) and additional information to help explain why Magda has not sought help for her mental illness, and how she could use SRM to seek help. Before I begin, I would like to define what depression is and what depression is not. Depression is defined as feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. (American Psychiatric Association, 2017). Depression is not just being sad for a day. To diagnose someone with depression an individual must have the symptoms related to depression for more than two weeks (American Psychiatric Association, 2017). Depression is not being able to enjoy or do the things you use to do. It is a valid illness. Now that I have defined what I mean by depression, I will get to my point. Mental illness is a controversial subject. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (2015), 1in 5 adults in the USA suffer from some form of mental illness. That s roughly 40 million adults. You probably know someone who suffers from a mental illness, or you yourself

Translation: If one were to compose their papers in text messaging lingo, wouldn t it be great mate? From my perspective and hopefully yours as well, the answer to that question would be a capitol no, with a sad face emote. The purpose of this study was to determine if students who texted in excess of fifty times per day displayed below average formal writing skills. PhD Nenagh Kemp from the School of Psychology located at the prestigious University of Tasmania, authored this Australian paper in an attempt to answer if texting has any correlation with writing and spelling: Text message abbreviations and language skills in high school and university students. Dr. Kemp predicts that after controlling for age and texting experience, textism use would predict a small but potentially significant amount of variance in scores of reading, spelling, and possibly also morphological awareness (Kemp, 2012). In contrast to my previous article review, Dr. Kemp placed a higher emphasis on using defined parameters, yielding clear, defined, and controlled data. Kemp stated, The aim of this study was thus to investigate textism use among high school and university students. Specifically, we examined the proportion of textisms, the number of textism categories produced and the consistency with which textisms were spelled, and whether any of these differed between written and texted messages. We also explored the nature of the relationships

The proposed EVA bonus payout structure is supposed to be an objective way to gauge and reward employee performance; however, through no fault of their own, the Dermatology group is slated to undergo severe ebbs and flows in their incentive and could potentially wreak havoc on employee morale and retention. The team s racial division was what Coach Boone knew he had to fix for him to reach the end, a win. After getting to know one another through camp, a bond between black and white players was created. When people close to the players and crowds of games saw the friendships the team had, they began changing their paradigm from races shouldn t mix (racist views), to don t judge by race. The first habit was shown in characters such as Coach Yoast, Emma and fans. This change in view brought the town together to cheer for their team; one person s encouragement may have been the reason successful play that won the game. In conclusion, the use of the Seven Effective Habits not only brought T.C. Williams High School s football team to victory, but also create better

In its place entities, which can be loosely defined as States, employed rudimentary lines of communication between one another dating back to 15th centenary. It was an arduous task to have open and responsive lines of communication between these states, however, given the close proximity of Italian city states and their need for open channels of communication made Italy uniquely opportune for the development and maturation of diplomacy. MFAs are then responsible for advising on the policies they should be required to implement, issuing the appropriate instructions, and ensuring that they are carries out (Berridge 2010 pg. 10). Part of the responsibility is the analysis of the information that missions send home. There is the primary function of MFAs to coordinate foreign relations. Lastly, MFAs are charged with overseeing interaction with foreign diplomats at home. Berridge begins his book with what is essentially a fundamental background on the evolution the MFA as an institution and how most function today. While some might consider this information mundane or inconsequential to the goal of discussing diplomacy at length, Berridge touches on these subjects because diplomacy, like everything, is not static. Therefore, diplomacy is both effected by its own history and by the administrative mechanism found within; a simplistic but critical point to make. Negotiation Negotiation is the most frequently used tool in diplomacy and, as Berridge points out, starts well before any representatives sit down at a table (Berridge 2010 pg. 27). There is a pre negotiation phase of arrangements that must be made beforehand in order to get all of the appropriate parties of a conflict to participate.

Numerical Evaluation Let us take data set as follows X Y 5 8 6 9 7 10 8 11 9 12 10 13 The equations obtained from the above data set are Y=0.990 * x ^ 1.000+ 3.931 X=0.989 * y ^ 1.000 3.249 Now we take another data set to test using above equations and if the results are not approximately similar to the obtained results for all the models then we consider the data to be noise or outlier. By applying for the above results we get, For test case1 (112,125) ПЃ=1 ((6*((114.811 125)2+(120.376 112)2))/(2*(4 1)))ПЃ = 172.973 For test case2 (167,170) ПЃ=1 (((6*(167 166.87)2+(170 169.261)2))/(2*(4 1))) ПЃ =0.436979 so from the obtained results test case1 is considered as noise

Since then different architects have continued the work after his original idea. • 19. Margaret Sanger Vs Betty Friedan Throughout history, leaders of political and social movements have designed slogans and catchphrases to mobilize ordinary citizens into political and social activists. Historically, activists such as Nelson Mandela, Mohandas Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and countless others have, in their speeches and writings, created a perfect pairing of words that persists in the mind of the listener. Two such activists of the Twentieth Century were Margaret Sangerand Betty Friedan. Friedan and Sanger greatly influenced the women s rights movement; despite both being feminists, however, their personal beliefs in terms of other civil rights movements often fell at opposite ends of the spectrum. Both Friedan and Sanger popularized phrases which empowered their respective followers and similar activists to push back against a system designed to repress them; the phrases that the two activists used, however, reflected their different brands of activism and revealed their differences of opinion on who mattered both for and in the Women s Rights Movement. : Sanger with the phrase birth control and Friedan with the term feminine mystique. Betty Friedan, who lived from 1921 2006, constructed her activism through her writing. She wrote for trade unions and magazines, and later, at the age of 42, published her best known work The Feminine Mystique. This book stirred up a following among urban, white, middle class American women who felt that their male counterparts

  • 23. Inbreeding Depression By Environment Interactions Essay Inbreeding Depression Inbreeding depression is a widely studied topic in the fields of not only genetics, but as well as the fields of biology, ecology, etc. Directly speaking, inbreeding depression results in the loss or reduced expression of a trait due to the mating between two closely related organisms (Hartl 547). As of today, there are a plethora of studies and evidence that explain how and why inbreeding occurs within populations even though it is deleterious for the populations. However, several of these experiments are done in an unnatural environment or researchers have manipulated data in a way to deem the results not truly representative (JM Pemberton et al.,2016). It is vital to discover and understand the inbreeding depression of organisms in natural conditions so that this area of study is accurately represented by reasonable data and the knowledge of this topic can be expanded accurately. The article, Inbreeding Depression by Environment Interactions in a Free living Mammal Population published in Heredity in November 2016, discusses research done on a population of sheep in St. Kilda in attempt to discover inbreeding depression by environment interaction with unmanipulated and true data. The sheep live on an isolated island, so it is assumed that inbreeding is high in the population and genetic variation is low as well. In this article, the researchers analyzed nine traits in the sheep for inbreeding depression by environment interaction. These traits are

Companies manipulate our minds by using humor, violence, and sexuality to sell. Often, we chose to ignore the constant distractions shown to us on the television, newspapers, magazines, and giant billboards. Yet, the subliminal messages still affect us, sometimes without us even noticing. Society has normalized so many of these ideas that they are not seen as offensive, although they should be. If we take more than a few seconds to look and snicker, we can truly comprehend the issues we have been ignoring. Advertisers will go to almost any length to convince consumers that their product is the best, something that is necessary. Targeted advertisement is used to appeal to a certain group of consumers. One of the most common and recognizable examples is the use of femalesexuality to sell products aimed at men. Even products that aren t specifically maleoriented seem to exploit the female body as a way to catch people s attention. The teleological argument successfully provides proof for the existence of intelligent design by utilizing intricate scientific data in order to demonstrate intent and purpose in the creation of the universe, as opposed to random and highly improbable occurrences. The purpose of the teleological argument is to present complex details of the universe as evidence that it was designed by an intelligent mind. It suggests that since the universe is so compound and full of fine tuned intricacies, there must have been a designer who implemented these specific details in order to create a fully functioning and sustainable universe. These details have been found from a biological perspective, as well as from a cosmological scale. The teleological argumentis commonly used to provide evidence for the existence of the theistic God, or at least an intelligent designer. In contrast, those who are against the teleological argument generally believe that the universe is a result of an accidental explosion. Although there are many theories that use the teleological argument to provide strong support for intelligent design, there are also well developed theories that oppose the teleological argument. A philosopher who presents several contradicting arguments to the teleological argument is David Hume. In his writing, The Dialogue Concerning Natural Religion, he presents his critique of the teleological argument and expresses his opposition through the fictional character Philo. In one of

There are over 11.3 million illegal immigrants living in the United States. Critics say that this wall that Trump wants to build is unaffordable and downright unrealistic. From the beginning of his initial bid for president he was backed by many to build this wall along the 2000 mile US Mexico border. When Trump first became instated as the president, he pledged a contiguous, physical wall or other similarly secure, contiguous, and impassable physical barrier. Both hypotheses were accepted in that there were multiple pigments found on the filter paper of each sample. Major scientific concepts in this lab include chromatography and pigments. Chromatography is the division of mixtures, solution, and others into its different components. Chromatography is often used to separate a solution into its separate parts. Chromatography filters complicated compounds accurately without involving a difficult process so it is often used. Why was it virtually impossible not to believe in God in, say, 1500 in our Western society, while in 2000 many of us find this not only easy, but even inescapable? Was it really an inevitable conclusion of uncompromising reality as Tom Hardy assumes? Charles Taylor doesn t think so and his almost 900 page answer is an ambitious retelling of the process known as secularization. His narrative style documentation of the massive cultural shift of the past several centuries demonstrates the inadequacy of Mainstream Secularization Theory and the spiritual complexity of our cross pressured society. The culmination of this story lends voice to a hemisphere s subconscious, diving beneath the taken for granted assumptions of the Western mind to hear the truth. That underlying level of assumption is what Charles Taylor calls a social imaginary: What I m trying to get at with this term is something much broader and deeper than intellectual schemes people may entertain when they think about social reality in a disengaged mode. I am thinking rather of the ways in which they imagine their social existence, how they fit together with others, how things go on between them and their fellows, the expectations which are normally me, and the deeper normative notions and images which underlie these expectations. Part Three: Analysis of Company Accounts Section 3.1 Introduction All three companies under analysis in this part of the report including Airbus Group, the Boeing Company and Lockheed Martin are operating in aerospace and defence industry within industrial goods sector. Financial performance of Boeing is assessed by analysing a series of ratios measuring the efficiency, liquidity, economic value added and profitability of the company accounts. For the reason that ratio may be of little meaning without a yardstick with which it was contrasted, recent performance is therefore compared with progressional results over a period of time using trend analysis. Moreover, cross sectional analysis is employed to evaluate financial performances of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Section 3.3 Efficiency Measures 3.3.1 Inventory turnover Inventory turnover ratio (ITR) measures how efficient a company is using its inventories to generate revenues. It considers the on hand inventories of a company relative to that company s sales of products. Sales of services are excluded from the calculations because the ratio is only relevant with the stock of physical goods. A higher ITR is typically preferred because it suggests that a given amount of inventory has been turned into more cash and profits. A decreasing trend of Boeing s ITR can be spotted from Graph 3.1, from a historical ratio of 6.29 in 2006 to 1.73 in 2014. Graph 3.2 shows a comparison between Airbus and Boeing. ITR for Boeing has suffered continuous deterioration and settled within 1.7 to 1.9 in recent three fiscal years while Airbus manages to maintain around 2.4, and average ITR for aerospace and defence industry is 2.56 for the same time period. There are two factors affecting a company s inventory turnover ratio, namely, stock purchasing and revenues generated from selling products. Inventory turnover ratios for Boeing company is calculated to be 1.89, 1.79, 1.73 for year 2012, 2013, 2014 respectively, and within the same time frame, sales revenue of the company increased with a growth rate of 7.8% in 2013 and 5.07% in 2014 (table 3.1). As a result of the imaginary world, a system of widely accepted social norms and laws are established and followed by all involved in the culture. However, I believe that although the imaginary world does influence the culture as a whole, the concept of free will, agency and individualism plays a part in how each person chooses to interpret the social norms and therefore live their life. Taking the example of the Himbaculture, I will be exploring the different aspects of the imaginary world, individual interpretations of the imaginary world, and then looking at BYU imaginary world to prove that each culture, regardless of location, is influenced by an imaginary world as a whole but individuals can be influenced differently due to their relationships with others. The petri dish with the highest hatching viability was the 1.0% dish. No, the results did not support my prediction in the pre laboratory question #2. My prediction did not match the results because in the 1.5% petri dish it showed a lower hatching viability compared to the 1.0% petri dish. After, the results came out it was proven that the best NaCl solution for the brine shrimp was the 1.0 petri dish because it wasn t too concentrated and it wasnt too little. Explain, in terms of natural selection, why one saline solution yielded the highest hatching viability of brine shrimp. Natural selection is the process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring. One saline solution yielded the highest hatching viability because only one of the solutions was suitable for the brine shrimps and they were able to adapt to that place. The other ... In an actual environment some of the brine shrimp eggs could have been eaten before they are able to hatch, but since this was in a petri dish there was no such thing as predators that have reduced the hatching viability of the brine shrimp eggs. Another, limitation was the exact amount of brine shrimps you could brush up. This made the hatching viability to not be as accurate because there was different amount of eggs to start with. If there was an equal amount of eggs to begin with the hatching viability percentage would have been more accurate since they all started the same. These two limitations made the experiment not as reasonable because it stopped what could have happen to these brine shrimps in their actual

Is it possible for an object or a person to be taken apart into atoms and be put back together in another location, or another word can a person teleport? Even though teleportation sounds like science fiction, it does indeed exist just in a smaller scale. Up to this day scientists were able to make quantum teleportation real and achieved moving an atomfrom location A to location B in seconds. According to Jon Austin professor Michio Kaku of City University, New York, maintains the technology to teleport a living person to another part of the Earth or even space could be available within decades or at by the next century. The existence of an actual teleport has been proven and demonstrated by Michio Kaku. The overall definition of quantum teleportation is that something is able to travel from one location to the other instantly and without any contact. The in depth definition is that an atom or a molecule can break the distance in a moment without any contact between location and on a quantum level. Quantum teleportation considers all living and nonliving things as data. People consist of data that is maintained in atoms and molecules. and theoretically human body can be taken apart into atoms and put back together in a different place. Like any other job acting has its pros and cons, and people who act also have good and bad days just like any other person. However, some people try to become an actor/actress just for fame, money, and popularity. Sure it is nice to have those things, but if that is the only reason a person wants to act then there is a huge chance that their actingcareer will fail and they more than likely will not reach the goal of having fame, money, and popularity. On the other hand though if a human being s passion is acting, then they should go after their dreams and achieve them no matter what. There are many reasons why acting is worth it. If the reason someone wants to act is because they love it, then it can help them discover who they are, it can also assist actors / actresses with expressing themselves better, it allows them to be more creative, it is fun, and it allows the people who act, especially famous thespians, to have a big influence on society and many people s lives (Meindl, Anthony). For example, acting can allow people to discover who they are . So, then do people have to be rich in order to act? Sure having money is useful and it can help people, however, as long as the person who is trying to act works hard and continues to try to get roles even though they have been rejected many times, then eventually they will be

As an actor, it is therefore very useful to differentiate between different kinds of stress that can interfere with your performance. Tension is a normal thing to all human beings but we should develop a way of overcoming it. As per Larry Moss, physical tension in our body often begins in childhood. When we try to hold back our joy, anger, tears and humor, we interfere with our different body muscles that tend to stop our natural body impulse. Emotions also have an impact on the actor s performance in a way that; when actors are emotionally stressed they may tend to swallow these emotions which may affect their throat or other body parts. This context portrays how emotional feelings can lead to physical consequences that will affect the actors performance. Some of the physical consequences that are brought by emotions can be headache, stomach and some which cannot be ignored.
