Natural Disasters Affecting America s Economy
We ve never seen anything like this is the word increasingly heard in every part of the world in the
wake of natural disasters. Certainly, strong natural disasters have increased nearly four times over the
past four decades. There have been observed 70% increase in damage by floods and streams.
According to recent UN report, Economic losses from disasters since 2000 are in range of $2.5
trillion, almost 50% higher than previous international estimates. The economic losses from disaster
sometimes occur out of control and require partnership with private sector. The losses from earthquake
and cyclonic wind damage are expected to be about $180 billion per year throughout this century and
this figure doesn t include damage from floods, rockslides, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Many U.S. investors own shares of companies in other countries which can put investor at a risk with
natural threat associated with these areas. There has also been seen a significant effect on a price of
commodity after a disaster. For example, earthquake in Chile (2010) choked copper market and results
an increase in Copper price worldwide. With increase in price of a commodity, there is an obvious
decreased diminished margin left for industries. Scarcity rules and the price inflation is then not just
related to market goods but also makes its way to staples like food, merchandise and

The Fall Of The Samurai Analysis
Analysis.
End of Isolationism
One of the most important factors that contributed to the fall of the samurai during the Meiji
restoration was the influx of trade and commerce in Japan at the end of isolationism. The decision to
emphasize trade and commerce during this time period was made by the Japanese government, the
bakufu. However, it marked a weakness that would lead to the downfall of the government and many
high officials, which in turn affected the samurai greatly. During the beginning of the Tokugawa or
Edo period, the Japanese established extreme control over interactions with foreign neighbors They
expelled the Spaniards in 1624, the Portuguese in 1638, and after 1640, all foreign trade had been
eliminated except for a small port that was left open for limited trade with the Chinese and Dutch
under extreme supervision (Norman, 13). Moreover, all foreigners were required to leave the country.
The bakufu believed that the expulsion of foreigners would protect their ability to trade as well as lead

Daimyos, who had previously prospered due to the land they owned and the rice they earned by
farming on these land, became less important and less influential since people were moving towards
cities. Thus, in July 1869, the practice of daimyos were abolished, and in 1871, the land that they
owned was returned to the emperor. This had a huge impact on the lives of the samurai because the
samurai relied on the daimyos as their lords and to earn a living for themselves. They were the people
that the samurai followed, and without them, there would be no one to pay them. Due to this, many
samurai lost their respective jobs due to a lack of a lord, hence causing them to shift towards other

Animal Farm Comrades
All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others Animal Farm. This represents the
mentality that was presented in Animal Farm the book written by George Orwell. Orwell is able to use
political rhetoric to represent communism and greed within a society. In this case the society is
conveyed by different groups of animals on Manor Farm , which symbolizes the oppressed groups of
people who lived in Russia before the Russian Revolution. Manor Farm represents communist
controlled Russia, which falls during the Russian Revolution and is then controlled by the pig

Joseph Stalin led in taking over Russia, in Animal Farm, Napoleon takes over the farm from the owner
Mr. Jones. When Napoleon assumes responsibility of running the farm he changes the farm name to
Animal Farm , this signifies the rebellion and the Revolution. With Napoleon in charge the former
communist ruled farm changes to a socialist society where all the animals work together and attain the
same amount of food and resources. This is what Stalin tried to create before returning to a communist
society. By the end of the novel, Napoleon also goes back to communist rule which represents the idea
that socialistic societies or utopian societies do not always work. At Animal Farm , Napoleon had nine
loyal attack dogs similar to the secret police Stalin used to carry out his commands. Snowball, another
pig at Animal Farm , represents Leon Trotsky, who was able to win the loyalty of the other animals
similar to the way Trotsky was able to win over people in Russia too. In Russia, the working class
people were represented by Boxer a cart horse who works hard and trusts the pigs to make decisions
for him. This shows how the working class people followed the laws Stalin had put into place. Just
like the pigs, the working class people played a key role in the early prosperity of Animal Farm . Like
the massive projects the people worked on in Russia

Kingston s Speech In No Name Woman
It is not uncommon for individuals to follow the crowd and do something just because it is popular,
especially if it is a group of people who are close the individual. Often the ideals of the group do not
align with the individual s principles but he or she is too timid to voice their unpopular opinion. This
scenario is present during Kingston s childhood. Kingston does not agree with her family s treatment
of her aunt, however, Kingston abides by her family s rules of not speaking or acknowledging the aunt
s existence. In No Name Woman Kingston takes her readers through her own intellectual and
emotional processing of her aunt s story, which lends the story s narrative/rhetorical strength.

thinks about her aunt s life and how she became pregnant. At first, Kingston blames the pregnancy on
the aunt. She explains that the aunt took time when getting ready and cared about her appearance,
which was unusual for Chinese women after they have been married. Kingston describes, Once my
aunt found a freckle on her chin... She dug it out with a hot needle and washed the wound with

Kingston later believes that her aunt was possibly raped. When describing her aunt s marriage
Kingston writes, When the family found a young man in the next village to be her husband, she stood
tractable beside the best rooster, his proxy, and promised before they met that she would his forever

that her aunt cheated on her husband because she was a dutiful wife. Sympathizing with the aunt,
Kingston writes, I want her fear to have lasted as long as rape lasted so that the fear could have been
contained (Kingston 326). She reflects on how horrible it must have been living in such a small
community with her rapist.
As an adult, Kingston no longer stays silent about the mistreatment of her aunt. Kingston reveals, My

Network Security And Security
It is important for ABC Corporation to bring the network up to current security standards. Attempts to
breach networks are becoming more sophisticated and difficult to defend against, as more powerful
hardware is introduced and new security defenses become available leaving older measures unreliable.
Aging networks that are improperly secured are more at risk than ever. It is not only important to
ensure you have the proper defense at the perimeter but also internally on wired and wireless
infrastructure. When considering network security controls, acceptable risk is often considered but

ABC Corporation has determined that a central authentication method that supports certificate
exchange and integrates with an Active directory environment best suits the company s needs.
According to InfoSec, By definition 802.1x is an IEEE standard for port based authentication which
was originally designed for wired network authentication and later leveraged to provide the same
services to wireless. It is typically only implemented in large networks such as campus or enterprise
networks.
Implementing Radius as a security solution provides Ease of Management, Ease of Use, Support,
Scalability and Security for the network and IT staff. Radius will allow for the use of Certificate
sharing between devices that can be pushed out through Active directory and Group Policy. These
policies and certificates can make the authentication process easier for the end user with automatic
authentication or the ability to use the same credentials that are used in other systems and can be
controlled on a per user basis. These same group policies will allow you to assign users to different
networks based on roles within the company also known as Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
further securing the network. (https://www.securedgenetworks.com/blog/Why 802 1x is the Best

wireless authentications methods greatly reduces risk. In an article publish by ZDnet in

What Is The Difference Between Pepsi And Coca Cola
There are a lot of soda companies out there, even though not all of them are similar, especially their
marketing strategies and how they give use of their websites. A couple of the mainstream companies
are Coca Cola and Pepsi. While some people will make a very strong case that they are very different
in taste, this is especially true with their websites and the way they show themselves.
Let s compare the Coca Cola s website with Pepsi s website, the biggest difference is the color. Coca
Cola uses red as their predominant color and Pepsi uses blue.
The first thing a guest will notice on Coca Cola s website is that the way the links are set up is
extremely disorganized. They can make it look more professional, if they stop re directing their links

Narrow Framing
The most common of the four villains of decision making would be narrow framing. Narrow framing
is an obstacle that stands in the way of good decisions by limiting the amount of options. In decision
making, a narrow frame or a restricted set of options is a missed opportunity at possibly better choices
that could be generated to increase choices. Naturally, I go back to my time as both a teacher and
principal and can see how invested educators are in their work and how easy it is to overlook or miss
the obvious. The enormous amount of pressure on educators in Kentucky has forced teachers to be
nearly automated in their behaviors, actions and strategies that are implemented in the classroom.

Effects Of New Global Era On The World
Effects of New Global Era In the past 100 years, the world has shifted enormously. Once, a world that
only communicated when one nation was trying to take over another, is now connected more than
ever. This transformation began with the Industrial Revolution in a period from around 1760 to 1840.
Thinking back to that time, we can easily think of noticeable differences between how the world was
and how it is today. The United States was a small, developing country, still trying to overcome the
effects of a costly revolution. Across the ocean, our once major rival, Great Britain, was still the
greatest power in the world. And around the world, China and Japan were nowhere near the economic
leaders they are today. However, these aren t the biggest changes. With advances in technology in the
Industrial Revolution, the world began to revolutionize. The technologies that the world has come to
familiarize ourselves with today, such as the smartphone, weren t even blueprints yet. However, a few
of the technological advances that developed from that era helped mold the world into what it is like
today. Brink Lindsey stated in the article, The Decline and Fall of the First Global Economy that, The
Industrial Revolution s burst of technological creativity, thus demolished the natural barriers to trade
posed by geography and created entirely new possibilities for beneficial international exchange. This
burst of technological creativity includes those that helped with transporting

Advantages and Disadvantages of MIMO The version of MIMO using single input multiple output
has the advantage of being easy to implement, but the disadvantage is that the receiver requires
processing. This causes battery drain. The second version has two transmitter antennas. This gives the
advantage of redundancy coding and processing being moved to the transmitter. This decreases the
space the antenna needs and less processing is required to the receiver. This allows the device to be
smaller and has less battery drain. The last version is true MIMO. This increases the channel
throughput. This means that it can offer more data capacity. One disadvantage would be the cost and
added complexity.
MIMO Applications
Currently MIMO is being used Describe how MIMO is currently being used for routers, smart TVs
phones and wireless hotspots. 4G devices like the Kindle Fire HD use MIMO.
Future of MIMO Right now the future of MIMO isn t secure. Because devices won t be interoperable,
the cost to change over will be prohibitive. The standards based Wi Fi gear like routers would benefit
from MIMO technology. This would include the Belkin, Linksys and Netgear routers.

Cultural Impact Of Globalization
Globalization is the process of international integration arising from the interchange of world views,
products, ideas and other aspects of culture. To better understand globalization and how it can impact
someone in different ways, I interviewed two people. The first person I interviewed is Jane Beamon.
Jane is the General Manager of Off Highway Business for Cummins Emission Solutions. Cummins
Inc is a global power leader that designs, manufactures, distributes and services diesel and natural gas
engines and engine related component products, including filtration, after treatment, turbochargers,
fuel systems, controls systems, air handling systems and electric power generation systems (2017).
Cummins is also a leader when it comes to globalization and how it can play a role in the success of a

globalization. What makes America great is the merging of different cultures and the many benefits
that are a direct result of that merging. When asked to clarify, Jane stated: the rise and popularity of
cultural festivals and events yearly is confirmation that Indianapolis has embraced other cultures.
When it comes to businesses that are present here, Indianapolis is a melting pot of franchises as well
as locally owned ventures. Take Ikea for instance; most people are not aware that it originated in
Sweden advised Jane. When it comes to affordable shopping and convenience, globalization

After graduating from the University of Rome in 1896, Montessori continued with her research at the

opened her own medical clinic to treat children. In 1897, she became an assistant doctor at the

handicapped children. Maria observed that the living conditions for these children were miserable.
The patients were kept like prisoners in dark, bare rooms with nothing to stimulate them. She
observed that it was not the medical problem but rather pedagogical one. It was this time when she

The Origins And Usefulness Of Auteur
Explore the origins and usefulness of auteur theory in relation to a non American director of your
choice.
The concept of Auteur was first introduced by Andre Bazin in an essay featured in a 1954 edition of
Cahier du Cinema, often referred to as camera stylo or signature style as a way of critiquing French
new wave cinema. This theory allowed film to be criticised and analysed in the same way as other
creative platforms such as art and literature. By identifying the director as auteur as opposed to just
Metteur en Scène it transformed them into an artisté, by assuming creative control they in turn gave a
film a certain style. The auteur was a director consistently expressing his own unique obsessions, the

John Williams. Because production companies are once again taking control of the technical side of
filmmaking auteur theory is called into question. With film festivals supporting the idea of auteur to
promote an indie image and boost sales by turning the director into a celebrity for serious movie fans
and production companies supporting this to create a unity between films and avoid loss from
unsuccessful pictures then it is questionable if the concept of auteur can exist

Role Of Luxury Flagship Stores
I. Introduction In 2007, Euromonitor International reported luxury goods market sales to exceed
US$130 billion, and in 2016, the report luxury goods market more than double to an exceeding sale of
US$388 billion (Fionda Moore, 2008). The significant growth rate in estimated market value
demonstrate an opportunity in the luxury goods market. While flagship stores are not exclusive to the
luxury sector, they manifest an important role in luxury brand recognition among consumers. It is
essential to further investigate the role of flagship stores as they are an integral element of luxury
brand identity (Moore, Doherty, Doyle, 2008). Previous research explore the nature and role of

For distribution partners, a high initial investment into a flagship store opening is crucial to indicate a
belief of viability in the future of the market and to signal brand confidence, strength and viability to
wholesale customers, international partners and potential investors. (Kozinets, Sherry, De Berry
Spence, Duhachek, Nuttavthisit, Storm, 2002; Bruce, Moore, Britwistle, 2004). Regrading fashion
media relationship building, luxury flagship stores must understand and appreciate fashion media have
a significant influence on how a luxury fashion brand is perceived and accepted. Fashion media affect
consumers brand awareness and impact luxury flagship stores press (Fionda Moore, 2008). The
fashion media includes fashion editors, journalist, stylist, and famous public figures. Therefore luxury
flagship stores must maintain and build a cpositive relationship with fashion media. As reported in
Moore s et. al. study, a retailer closed their flagship store in London due to untenable operating cost.
In effect, the British fashion press abandoned all coverage of the brand, which had adverse effects on
the company s reputation and sales. Regarding customer relationship building, luxury flagship stores

Juxtaposition In Devil In The White City
The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson is a nonfiction novel that sets during the building of the
1893 Chicago World s Fair, known as The World s Columbian Exposition as well. The novel describes
the process of building the fair and the architect who builds it to the evil murderer who exploits the
fair to lure in his victims. Erik Larson uses rhetorical strategies such as selective connotation and word
choice, imagery, and juxtaposition, to contrast the white city from the black city. Contrary to the white
city which was the exposition, the black city, the rest of Chicago, brought negativity and hatred to the
people.
In it was a blighted, hellish place full of noise and dust and smoke and inhuman towers that blocked
the sun and she hated it hated especially this gloomy building and the ceaseless clamor of construction
(Larson 123), the black city is described through selective connotation and word choice. Larson
creating an unpleasant mood by using such negative and degrading words such as blighted, hellish,
and inhuman to describe Chicago, readers can envision a hateful and dull place. By placing and in
front of the negative words: blighted, hellish, and inhuman and repeating and multiple times, the list of
unappealing attributes of the city is elongated. Essentially, Chicago is envisioned in a worse way than
if the negative adjectives were just listed one after another without the effect that and carries,
emphasizing the hatred the character held towards

Writing Class Reflective Essay
Your Creative Writing class has taught me so much about being creative, confident and of course a
being a better writer. Every assignment that we did was beneficial to my creativity and confidence.
For example, we learned about imagery, show not tell and I was able to fully incorporate that into my
writing. When the guest speaker Bindu Sharma came in to talk to our class about her experience of
becoming a published author, I was able to get a feel for what the process may be like if I ever pursue
the publication path. I gathered so much knowledge from the projects we did and I became more open
to other genre s and writing categories. For example, when I first found out that I loved to write I
thought that the only thing I enjoyed was the fiction genre, but then in this class I discovered the raw
beauty of poetry and the inspiration of non fiction writing as well. ... Show more content on

I enjoyed being a part of the workshops because people gave me helpful feedback that helped me to
make my writing better but their advice also gave me confidence. This class has made me more
interested in poetry, non fiction along and also fiction writing. Every writing exercise that I had done
in this class helped me grow as a writer. For example when I wrote my place piece on my short story, I
liked it so much that I added it to my short story. The place piece that I added to my story ended up
being my favorite part of the story and also others told me that part of imagery was their favorite part
of my story as well. Certain exercises helped me to take risks within my writing for example I created
a piece in second person POV, the piece was an objective place piece and by taking the risk of putting
it in second person it became a more interesting piece. I never would have known how much better my
writing could be if I hadn t done these writing

Due to increased distribution of XML in cloud computing, the demand for strong and active safety

In this type of attack, an opponent alters or changes the service s Web Services Description Language
file where explanations about service examples are stored. If the opponent succeeds to interrupt
service request code from WSDL file at distributing time, then this attack can be possible. Since
Metadata documents are distributed using communication procedures like HTTP or e mail they are
expected to open the options of spoofing attacks. It is likely for attackers to maliciously modify the
content of the WSDL file and allocate them across all the Web service clients. This has serious costs
and security effects.
To overcome such an attack, information about services and applications should be kept in encrypted

The argumentthat asset prices are set by rational investors is part of the grand oral traditionin
economics and is often attributedto Milton Friedman, one of the greatesteconomists of the century and
one of the greatestdebatersof all time. But the argument has two fundamental problems. First, even if
asset priceswere set only by rationalinvestors in the aggregate, knowing what individual investors are
doing might still be of interest. Second, although the argumentis intuitively appealing and reassuring,
its adherents have rarely spelled it out carefully. Suppose a markethas two kinds of investors: rational
investors (rationals), who behave like agents in economics textbooks, and quasi rational investors
(quasi s),people who are trying as hard as they can to make good investmentdecisions but make
predictablemistakes. Suppose also that two assets in this market,X and Y, areobjectivelyworth the
same amount but cannotbe transformedfrom one into the other. Finally, assume that the quasi s thinkX
is worth more thanY, an opinion thatcould change (quasi soften changetheirminds) while the
rationalsknow that X and Y are worth the same. What conditions are necessary to assure that the prices

The Mix Of Sexuality And Fear In The Film Interview With A...
I have had a long attraction to vampires ever since I was a young person. I remember watching the
movie INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (1994) for the first time, I was mesmerized. Louis played
by the actor Brad Pitt and Le Stat played by Tom Cruise were sophisticated, worldly, exciting and
most of all sexy. They were not sexy in the traditional sense of tall, dark and handsome , more like
pale and with sunken in eyes, but yet I found myself deeply attracted to them. I found their lure and
mysteriousness sexy and exciting. I found myself wanting more. I often attribute my birthday being on
Friday the 13th to my interest in what most people would fear, my love for vampires. And even though
you do not see any character in the film have sex. The overwhelming sexual tension in the film makes
the air thick. The common mix of sexuality and fear is what fuels our desires towards the undead, and
such is the case in Interview With a Vampire. In my paper, I plan to discuss the mix of sexuality and
fear in reference to the film.
I plan to break my body into several different parts:
1. An introduction to the film Interview With The Vampire.
The story of Louis. An 18th century plantation owner who is grieving the loss of his wife and unborn
child. Louis was extremely vulnerable during that time. Vulnerability is a recurring trope used
throughout the film and I plan to discuss how vulnerability plays into our fears and desires. Le Stat
preys on Louis vulnerability and this is how the

deadly disease that no one can cure. Mars exploration could be disastrous, one scenario that can occur
is if the exploration brings back a deadly disease or diseases that no one can cure and can kill all of
mankind. Natives died from diseases that were brought from the Europeans and many Europeans died
from diseases from the Natives. Disease that we give to the life on Mars that kills all life on Mars or a

Essay The Color Purple
The Color Purple by Alice Walker is a very controversial novel, which many people found to be very
offensive. It is basically the struggle for one woman s independence. The main character in The Color
Purple is Celie a coloured woman with little or no education at all. She is one who has been used and
abused by all the men in her life, and because of these men, she has very little courage or ambition in
her life. She has so little courage, that all she wants to do is just survive. Through the various women
she meets throughout here life like: Shug, her sister, and Harpo s wife, she learns how to enjoy herself,
gain courage and happiness. She finally learns enough and with the final straw she could no longer

what with somebody. It get hotter and hotter and then it melt. That the good part. But other parts good
too, she say... (P. 79). I found this real important as it showed Celie she can enjoy herself and there is
more to her then just being a slave to Mister. Another important woman in Celie s life was Harpo s
wife Sofia. Sofia wasn t as important to Celie as Shug Avery or her sister Nettie, but it was Sofia s
actions that I believe helped inspire Celie. For when Harpo tried to beat Sofia, thanks to Celie s advice
to Harpo to beat his wife, Sofia would always fight back. Not only emotionally but physically as well,
for one day when Celie was going to Harpo s house she saw Harpo and Sofia fighting like twos mens
(P. 44). And I think Celie was really shocked when Sofia confronted her on why Celie told Harpo to
beat Sofia. I say it cause I m a fool, I say it cause I m jealous of you. I say it cause you do what I can t.
What that? She say. Fight I say. ... She say all my life I had to fight. I had to fight my daddy. I had to

Physician Assisted Death Ethical Dilemma
Physician Assisted vs. Natural Death; Ethical Dilemma In our country the premise of physician
assisted death conjures images of suicidal madmen, hell bent on death and mayhem. The reality is,
that could not be farther from the truth. So why is there a stigma on assisting patients with taking their
own life? Others look at this as a dignified means to those suffering a terrible fate. There are many
issues that weight heavy on the difference between physician assisted and vs. natural death. Is it cruel
to let a terminal ill patient who will suffer horrendously until nature take its course? Would it be more
humane to allow a patient to pass peacefully without the suffering or enduring painful end? This report
will examine physician assisted death ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Over the years since the first approval of physician assisted suicide, the opposition has challenged this
ruling, but in stance to find common ground, the Washington State Medical Association created 13

the article Finding Common Ground, By putting both issues on the table but not insisting they are
causally linked physicians came together to talk over a range of urgent clinical concerns and search for
common ground (Back, Colley, McGough, 1997). The future depends on finding that common ground,
though it will not be an easy path forward, the notion of physician assisted suicide will still present a
challenging fight. The ethical dilemma of this highly controversial subject will continue to split our
approach to the notion of assisted suicide. As we age, we come to terms with our own mortality, how
we choose to leave this world isn t always up us. For those who suffer from a terminal fate, maybe
they should have the choice, and those who understand their current condition can provide them the
dignity they deserve without repercussions. The only way we as a society can move ahead, is to find a

End of Isolationism One of the most important factors that contributed to the fall of the samurai during the Meiji restoration was the influx of trade and commerce in Japan at the end of isolationism. The decision to emphasize trade and commerce during this time period was made by the Japanese government, the bakufu. However, it marked a weakness that would lead to the downfall of the government and many high officials, which in turn affected the samurai greatly. During the beginning of the Tokugawa or Edo period, the Japanese established extreme control over interactions with foreign neighbors They expelled the Spaniards in 1624, the Portuguese in 1638, and after 1640, all foreign trade had been eliminated except for a small port that was left open for limited trade with the Chinese and Dutch under extreme supervision (Norman, 13). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Joseph Stalin led in taking over Russia, in Animal Farm, Napoleon takes over the farm from the owner Mr. Jones. When Napoleon assumes responsibility of running the farm he changes the farm name to Animal Farm , this signifies the rebellion and the Revolution. This is what Stalin tried to create before returning to a communist society. By the end of the novel, Napoleon also goes back to communist rule which represents the idea that socialistic societies or utopian societies do not always work. At Animal Farm , Napoleon had nine loyal attack dogs similar to the secret police Stalin used to carry out his commands. Snowball, another pig at Animal Farm , represents Leon Trotsky, who was able to win the loyalty of the other animals similar to the way Trotsky was able to win over people in Russia too. • 16. Effects Of New Global Era On The World Effects of New Global Era In the past 100 years, the world has shifted enormously. Once, a world that only communicated when one nation was trying to take over another, is now connected more than ever. This transformation began with the Industrial Revolution in a period from around 1760 to 1840. Thinking back to that time, we can easily think of noticeable differences between how the world was and how it is today. The United States was a small, developing country, still trying to overcome the effects of a costly revolution. Across the ocean, our once major rival, Great Britain, was still the greatest power in the world. And around the world, China and Japan were nowhere near the economic leaders they are today. However, these aren t the biggest changes. With advances in technology in the Industrial Revolution, the world began to revolutionize. The technologies that the world has come to familiarize ourselves with today, such as the smartphone, weren t even blueprints yet. However, a few of the technological advances that developed from that era helped mold the world into what it is like today. Brink Lindsey stated in the article, The Decline and Fall of the First Global Economy that, The Industrial Revolution s burst of technological creativity, thus demolished the natural barriers to trade posed by geography and created entirely new possibilities for beneficial international exchange. Advantages and Disadvantages of MIMO The version of MIMO using single input multiple output has the advantage of being easy to implement, but the disadvantage is that the receiver requires processing. This causes battery drain. The second version has two transmitter antennas. This gives the advantage of redundancy coding and processing being moved to the transmitter. This decreases the space the antenna needs and less processing is required to the receiver. This allows the device to be smaller and has less battery drain. The last version is true MIMO. This increases the channel throughput. This means that it can offer more data capacity. One disadvantage would be the cost and added complexity. MIMO Applications Currently MIMO is being used Describe how MIMO is currently being used for routers, smart TVs phones and wireless hotspots. 4G devices like the Kindle Fire HD use MIMO. Future of MIMO Right now the future of MIMO isn t secure. Because devices won t be interoperable, the cost to change over will be prohibitive. I remember watching the movie INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (1994) for the first time, I was mesmerized. Louis played by the actor Brad Pitt and Le Stat played by Tom Cruise were sophisticated, worldly, exciting and most of all sexy. They were not sexy in the traditional sense of tall, dark and handsome , more like pale and with sunken in eyes, but yet I found myself deeply attracted to them. I found their lure and mysteriousness sexy and exciting. I found myself wanting more. I often attribute my birthday being on Friday the 13th to my interest in what most people would fear, my love for vampires. And even though you do not see any character in the film have sex. The overwhelming sexual tension in the film makes the air thick. The common mix of sexuality and fear is what fuels our desires towards the undead, and such is the case in Interview With a Vampire. In my paper, I plan to discuss the mix of sexuality and fear in reference to the film. I plan to break my body into several different parts: 1. An introduction to the film Interview With The Vampire. The story of Louis. An 18th century plantation owner who is grieving the loss of his wife and unborn child. Louis was extremely vulnerable during that time.
