Spring 2017 was the worst semesters for me in comparison to my entire college education. I returned
back to college after leaving for six years. I started back spring 2016 at Cuny Hostos . I took 5 classes

stress she was dealing with that her body shut down on her. Having to be her main source of support
has mentally and physically strained everything in me. Another stressful situation that took place was
my cousin experienced a event which caused her to have a psychotic breakdown. She witness a
murder while she was away in college and she tried to cope with drugs and a bunch of other things.

creature. When Grendel was approached by drunken men wielding battle axes, he sank to my knees,

men, despite their hostile approach. While the men continued to hack at Grendel he merely held up a
body for protection (Gardner 52) instead of fighting back. Grendel could have easily overpowered and
killed the men if he wanted to but he chose to simply protect himself. Both creatures started off as
innocent and pure until man got involved. Grendel could only take so much neglect and abuse before

born in England on December 25, 1643, the same year that Galileo died. He went to Trinity college in
Cambridge. While he was in college, Newton had new ideas about motion, which he called Newton s
three laws of motion. He also had ideas about gravity, the diffraction of light, and forces. His ideas
were so great that in 1705, Queen Anne knighted him. What Newton s three laws of motion, and what
did they do? Newton s laws made the foundation for modern science and changed the world.

Purpose: The goal of this trial was to compare the consumption effect of probiotic yoghurt with
probiotic cheese on blood lipids.
Methods: 180 subjects aged 18 65, with 6 mmol/l total cholesterol were participated in a 2 month trial.
Subjects were assigned into three 60 person groups; probiotic cheese group (30 g/d), probiotic yoghurt
group (100 g/d) and control.
Results: A significant reduction in cholesterol was observed at the end within both groups; Cheese (
0.42 mmol/L; 95% CI, 0.47, 0.37; P 0.0001), Yoghurt ( 0.15 mmol/L; 95% CI, 0.25, 0.05; P=0.007).
HDL, LDL and Triglyceride also showed significant improvements during 2 month period.
Cholesterol comparison with control also revealed a significant reduction in both groups; cheese ( 0.51
mmol/L; 95% CI, 0.63, 0.39; P 0.0001), yoghurt ( 0.27 mmol/L; 95% CI, 0.39, 0.15; P 0.0001).
Conclusion: Probiotic cheese showed greater improvement effects on blood lipids compared to
probiotic yoghurt. This trial was registered in the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry

Suspense In The Film Rear Window
Hitchcock uses many techniques throughout the film Rear Window to convey suspense. The major
theme of the film regards Jefferies voyeurism. His intrigue in the everyday lives of his neighbours is
viewed as intrusive and morally wrong on principle. However, without this voyeuristic tendency the
crime committed by Thornwald would never have been solved. Thus, the audience is lead through
emotional turmoil in questioning whether it is wrong to invade someone s privacy, or just and heroic
to solve a crime. We see the climax of the film when Lisa and Stella venture out of Jefferies apartment
to investigate the murder of Mrs Thornwald. This leads to a confrontation between Thornwald and
Jefferies. These scenes build suspense through the use of detachment, the use of split screen , red
herring plot devices, lighting, music and diegetic sound.
In Hitchcock s Rear Window Jefferies apartment is the sole viewpoint to the outside world for the
audience. We rarely see anything that isn t from Jefferies immediate surroundings or directly from his
point of view. This gives Jefferies, and in turn the viewers, a detached sense of realism from the world
of the apartment complex opposite. This detachment is apparent to throughout the movie as many
characters state to Jefferies that what he s doing is morally wrong. However, the line of moral and
immoral conduct is pushed as Jefferies continues to watch his neighbours and ultimately becomes
