This document summarizes information about several villas located along the Brenta Riviera in Italy. It provides brief descriptions of Villa Donà, Villa Morosini-Mirano, Villa Fini which was destroyed by a tornado, Villa Seriman Foscari Widmann in Mira, Villa Venier Contarini in Mira, Bembo Villa which is the oldest villa dating to 1418, Villa Foscari called "La Malcontenta", Villa Sagredo-Vigonovo, and concludes with Villa Pisani in Stra which is one of the most famous villas known for its paintings, labyrinth, and proximity to the author's volleyball gym.
Dr. Cassetta, the owner of a travel agency, met with classes 2B and 2A to discuss the famous villas along the Riviera del Brenta in Italy. He identified Villa Pisani, Villa Malcontenta, and Villa Seriman-Widmann as the three most famous villas. He considers Villa Malcontenta to be the best designed villa, as it was planned by Palladio and used by a powerful Venetian family both for farming and as a suburban residence easily accessible by boat from Venice. The Riviera del Brenta has many bridges, some that can open to allow boats to pass, and it runs from Padua to Venice.
The 3A students at Lazzari school proposed ideas to improve the school building and garden. Their proposals included using innovative colored concrete and silkscreen paintings, installing a gazebo with solar panels, and recycling materials. The students suggested locations for these changes like the front garden and unused rooms. They created designs and got cost estimates. The students will help with murals, gardens, and furniture to renew the school with simple solutions.
Dr. Cassetta, a geographer and tourist guide, spoke to classes 2B and 2A about three famous villas along the Brenta River in Italy - Villa Pisani, Villa Malcontenta, and Villa Seriman-Widmann. He described Villa Pisani as the most beautiful villa, noting its architects and past use by wealthy families for relaxation. Villa Malcontenta was designed by Palladio for the Foscari brothers in 1559 and served as both a country residence reachable by boat from Venice and a farm. The class discussed the villas further, with some students giving opinions on which was most hidden or complicated.
This document was created by student 2B with their science teacher Ms. Calzavara, and was based on a project done by class 3A during the 2015-2016 school year.

Virgilio-etwinning is a group meant to guide new eTwinners, analogous to how Virgil guided Dante through hell in Dante's Divine Comedy. Dante felt lost in the dark wood and needed help to find the right path, and new eTwinners can similarly feel lost when first using the platform. The Virgilio-etwinning group aims to help any eTwinner, new or experienced, by providing a place to ask questions and find answers or assistance from others on topics like collaboration, communication, and sharing through eTwinning.
